Hello everyone! I tried to make this as short as possible but I just talk to much ;p Anyways, I wanted to say really quickly that first, I’m incredibly grateful that because of you all, I’m able to work on my art every single day so it’s a privilege to be able to do this as my job! I want to make it clear that I know I’ve made a lot of pieces with this slow craft and I don’t want this video to be perceived as one that is “showing off” everything I’ve made, especially because these pieces take hours and hours to complete. I don’t want this to influence anyone into thinking that you need to work on more projects than you can handle or make you feel like you haven’t “done enough” this year. The amount of projects you work on isn’t a competition or anything and you should do it because you love it! I do it because I love it but also because I have a lot of time to do it (because of you all) and I know so many of you don’t have that much time in your day to day lives to just sit down and knit/crochet - so I just wanted to make that clear. I tend to push myself to do more and work faster and that seriously needs to be worked on internally cause that’s not healthy at all, but I don’t want that to bleed out and influence you all to do the same since it’s not good for your health! So work slowly and have fun with it (: This is just a little looking back type of video and is nothing more than that
You are so sweet! If I may suggest one teeny tiny thing (something I'm working on, myself)...no negative self-talk, no matter how small it may seem. When you said the rainbow sweater didn't look great because you designed it...erase that negative thinking, love. Your work is amazing!
i would love longer videos even if they are not as frequent because your videos are just so relaxing to sit down and watch well im crocheting and get ideas for my next project 🫰(also i love the intro!!!!)
Impressive! I can do Amigurumi, but I can’t knit and fail at creating anything more than basic crochet blankets, scarves, leg warmers, etc. Your work rocks.
I have a skin allergy to wool and my crochet/knitting discord group we're telling me "I don't believe you, that's impossible, maybe it's just low quality and a little scratchy." I showed my rash and they said it was too gorey and triggering for some members. If you can be allergic to sunlight and water, you can most definitely be allergic to animal fibers .
Your allergy could be to lanolin! It’s a sorta waxy substance that’s naturally on wool. I can’t knit with wool for my mom because that’s what she’s allergic to as well.
27:44 you can try steaming the scarf with an iron (use steam only ofc) to “break the yarn” if it’s synthetic. You basically add a lot of steam to it when it’s on a blocking board, i did this with a feather yarn that helps fraying and it worked well for me, but it depends on the fibre I’m sure, and it might become stiffer or less fluffier so maybe do a swatch first.
A tip for yarn that won’t stop shedding/unraveling, is to dot a little bit of glue on the end were the yarn is cut. If you want it to still be washable then you should use fabric glue
AAAAAAAAA I didn't know that the ribbed brown sweater was crocheted! I was like "man I could learn how to knit just to make a copy of this sweater" I have been thinking of it since the brown crochet video but now I'm definitely gonna make one!
I have been crocheting for more than a year now, I feel like I make a lot but mostly from tutorials or things I see online and I haven’t improved in the sense of coming up with things myself and trying new techniques. You really inspire me to come up with my own designs and experiment with new things, I also really want to start knitting, those are my goals for next year. Thank you for the inspiration, I love everything you made (especially the maxi skirts)! 💗🌞
THE CORALINE SWEATER❤ I'm obsessed! We are always our own worst critics, but OMG you said you are really REALLY AMAZING. Id wear the Coraline sweater and the Sally dress EVERY DAY. I learned to crochet blankets, which was cool bc i take so much pride is sending people presents. BUT instead of moving on to clothing, i moved towards amigurumi.... in which I am an intermediate-beginner😂 but now I want to make clothes!!😭 I dont even know where to start with yarn sizing and texture and make. Im def gonna try to figure it out tho! Any basic advice jumping into your first grid sweater? I adore you.❤
crocheting blankets is one of my favorite things and i definitely want to make more because im ALWAYS cold no matter what . and props to you with your amigurumi! i have the highest respect for anyone that can make those cute plushies cause my talent doesn’t drift into that category unfortunately 😂 for advice, i’d first say to start with small grids like make a bunch of different grid patterns on little squares to get the hand of working with multiple colors. then once you do, you’ll have to first figure out what size sweater you’d want to make (making a swatch helps and i’ll link a video on how to do those swatches that helped me). then i’d find the middle stitch for that size and the middle stitch for the grid and what i’d do is align them so that the grid will be right in the center of the sweater (if that’s where you’d want it). i tend to choose the placement for the grid after starting the sweater (i choose it literally on the row that i want the start the first row of the graph) so that i can mark the beginning, end, and middle of the graph right away. how to do grids: (1) th-cam.com/video/jc48zU5zsbE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rdhJWnMqlZfNvBM7 (2) th-cam.com/video/Lps9ahnyCe8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=38LNg1kmYiBYLLdf how to swatch: (her way was so helpful to me): th-cam.com/video/3mjazQLWJZg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TTwCU2WV4RvVuJ-Q
So excited to watch this!! You have such a gentle warm personality:) Your videos really make my day so happy! Also, I’m thinking about making your crochet maxi skirt and was wondering if you had any tips before getting started?🍄🎀🦔🧶🌜
thank you so much! and yes i do have some tips! my first one would be is to make your waistband a couple inches smaller than your waist size. it’ll be next to impossible to put it on at first, but the more you fit your body into it as well as add more layers onto the skirt, the waistband will stretch out to your true waist size (or where you want the skirt to sit). i’d say at least 3-4 inches below your waist size and then if it still stretches out too much, you can also add a drawstring to it once the skirt is finished. it might take a lot time since the 2nd layer has double the amount of increases in it but it’ll come out beautifully! if for whatever reason, the waistband comes out too small in the end, then you can crochet into the stitches thats attached to the waist band and redo it without having to start the entire skirt over
Your so fast at making things, and the coralline sweaters reminded me of some of Lucy Carlyle’s cardigans from Lockwood and co. If your planning on doing another Knit and Crochet from film, I’d absolutely love a tutorial for one of Lucy’s cardigans! Happy New Years🎉
its crazy how she dont like almost of her projects like gurll i dont see any imperfections in them NOTHING IS PERFECT IN THIS WORLD i just love the whole projects of her stop saying u dont like them TT
These are so amazing. I have not started crocheting at all and this is so inspirational. May I please get the details on where and what your white top is called. The one that you wore beneath your brown argyle sweater. 18:40
18:07 Depending on how the wool was processed/washed, you may have some vegetation debris/dust in the wool that is making you sneeze! For example, I have a bunny. I’m not allergic to bunnies. But the HAY! Omg I get hives when I touch the hay, and of course my bunny has hay dust in its fur because of all the hay it eats and plays around, so also when I handle bunny I usually get a little sneezy/itchy!
I wish I had all the time in the world to crochet! I'd just sit and make my entire closet. I got really crazy busy with work and lost motivation for a while, but now I'm finding the groove again and some patterns I'm really excited about. Your videos always motivate me and get me excited about crocheting/knitting again.
Omg first of all, the intro is amazing hello??? ALSO I just wanted to let you know how much I admire you. I found your channel through the Green themed video and I remember thinking that was the best crochet video I had EVER watched and how everything you made was so so so so beautiful and creative. Ever since then I've been tuned in to watch every video you post and your pieces always leave me amazed. Everything you make is just so freaking cute!!! thank you for sharing your creativity and talents with us💗 happy holidays 🎄
you are my biggest inspiration for real. whenever i find myself unmotivated i put on a video of yours and then find myself crocheting literally 5 minutes in or something. i‘ll always be so amazed by how much thought and creativity goes into your projects and your videos! i truly want to thank you for sharing all of this with us and i hope it‘ll continue to bring you as much joy as it does to us! 🩷 also, you look so frickin cute here, the hair, the necklace, that cardigan/sweater paired with the earrings
You are so talented and are a natural but its also very apparent that you put a lot of time and effort into your craft! It’s inspiring to see how much your hard work pays off!!
OH MY GOD I LOVE THE NEW INTRO! i just wanna say i started watching your videos during the summer and they inspired me to start learning to crochet! and now im addicted to it and ive been doing it nonstop for the past 7 months. your videos are also so comforting and interesting. im so glad i found your channel!
OMG so many things, well done. I was planning to start my crochet projects in October before winter, but the war began in Palestine and I could not buy yarn. Sadness overwhelms me because I could not enjoy my hobby, but there are many people who feel the pain of losing their dearest families. And their friends and relatives, so my pain is not compared to their pain, even though I lost my sister and some of my relatives from Gaza as well😔 Free Palestine🇵🇸🇵🇸
i cannot begin to describe how so so sorry i am about your losses and how sad i am that this is STILL going on after so long - it’s not much but just know that there are so many of us standing with you right now in hopes that this can all end as quickly as possible. Even if it’s hard to see, the world loves and stands with you and Gaza 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
I appreciate this video so much! I love all the styles and it’s so inspiring that you started just 2 years ago. It’s really amazing to see what’s possible. I really will make an effort to do the projects I love watching other people. I need to stop saying I’ll do it later or it’ll take 10 years of experience to do and your channel, esp this video, is definitely an eye-opener. I’m not saying that I’ll make these many items but I hope to be able to reflect on the craftsmanship of many of my own projects like you did in this video. Sorry for such a long comment but yeah thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video and sharing with us! Take care of yourself 🫶🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hi! There is a tip you could use to fix the neckline on your brown sims recreation sweater, all you do is loosely slip stitch in every stitch of the neckline with a crochet hook. And it significantly tighten up the neckline, I did this on a knit sweater I made with the same problem and it worked really well
I whispered to myself , "ugh, she did such a great job on this" the video creation is as unique and entertaining as the fiber finesse. I'm proud of your growth too!!
I love watching your videos. Whenever you upload it always makes my day ☺️💜 You're so pretty and the energy you give is funny, sweet and amazing. Very entertaining and creative. Keep up the amazing work. ✨
For your itchy sweater you could wear a silk base layer underneath. It will help keep you warm and prevent itching. Your over the shoulder sweater could use some straps fashioned on the inside, or even pinching some fabric together and sewing it. Like, in back you could pinch it up and give it a lax pleat or something. I had some scrub tops that had that back pleat and it made the scrub tops more flattering
My favorite tops are the touch of alpaca pink top and blue top with ruffle sleeves, favorite cardigans are hexagon and into the spider verse. You are so creative. You give me so much inspiration. I have recently started knitting. Knitting is so foreign I am still struggling. Seeing your progress shows success is possible.
Hi @ikoxun I love your work and it has always been a joy when a new video makes my notifications. I was wondering, where do you get your background music? It is so chill and I just want to listen to it. Thank you!
You’re crocheted pieces are incredible, you have great crochet skills,I love everything you made. Continue to fascinate with your work, thank you, for sharing your talent and time.
Wow you made so much. It's nice to see the improvement you made throughout the year. Practice definitely makes progress. I really loved the blankets, I definitely need to get started on one asap.
The nice thing about the duplicate st is that if you really want to you can carefuly take it ou and re st it i a different shape. 👍 As an elder knitter i am always so proud of your love of trying new things, learning techniques, and skill at design. This channel is a joy to watch and get inspo from for my own wardrobe. Keep doing what you love!
Hello😊 First off I want you to know I love your whole vibe. The music really is healing. Your pieces are interesting and cool. So I wanted to give some advice if you haven’t gotten any about your bags and the heaviness. On the straps..if you slip stitch the outer edges of the handles starting from the bag to the other side of the bag, I think that will help with the stretching. It worked for my pants. Hope that helps!!
What a fantastic year you had! I cannot believe how many things you’ve created in just a year! It’s so hard to pick a favorite. I really love the faux fur vest. It literally looks like something from a store. I’m so proud of what you’ve accomplished and I hope more young people are inspired by your style and creativity! Thank you so much dear one for sharing your journey with us ❤🎉
Hello! I love your videos, they inspire me to crochet, and as I'm Brazilian, I watch them with subtitles, could you make a detailed tutorial on how to make a sweater? Thanks for reading!!💗
OMG you do beautiful work!!! And you haven't been doing it long at all. I'm jealous, I need to venture out more. Your clothes are beautiful... everything is, and you're knitting already too. YOU ROCK!!!
Top crochet content creator for me at the moment , you are so creative and inspiring . I always have a ton of crochet ideas after watching your videos , also i love how calm you talk lol
you have no idea how much i love this channel. ive been watching since early 2022 which it was also when i first started to crochet and its been amazing to witness your evolution and see all of the improvement (even tho u were amazing since the beginning) as i was having my own journey through crochet as well. every one of those pieces are beautiful and so inspiring. happy holidays, greetings from colombia 🇨🇴
I love how much work u put into ur vids and pieces! its so fun and i don't think i've ever missed a vid. I have made so many pieces cuz of u and im so grateful ur here. u helped me so much in 2023 and i hope u never delete ur acct. ty for everything and i hope 2024 only brings the best for u!
Oml you’re so talented 😭 i’ve made three different crochet pieces of clothing and they’ve all been train wrecks. I’m definitely a beginner when it comes to garments, but you inspire me sm 🩷🩷
I love the Black Tie Top @8:05 and all of your dresses, ALL OF YOUR FILM DESIGNS ( still can't believe you included Gravity Falls, it's truly missed), definitely your MERMAID designs and HELLO KITTY FLOOR PILLOW!!!!!!! (I've never seen a video with a floor pillow as a project or even one as good as yours . You really have the best TH-cam Channel . Please, please, please do more videos like this one specifically, literally the best knitted/crocheted collage I've seen on TH-cam seriously. as soon as I saw their was a HUGE pile behind you I had to subscribe and hit that bell button with a like on this video. I can't wait to go watch your Film Design videos next and definitely the pink crochet video so for that Hello Kitty Floor Pillow. I would love to make my own 1 day or Purchase 1 from you!!!! ❤🔥
Omg I was obsessed with the Barbie rapunzel vhs movie and I’ve never heard anyone else talk about it before! You just brought back a core memory for me. ❤
I watched your 2022 video last year and that was how I found you. I can’t believe I’ve been enjoying your content for a whole year! I can’t wait to enjoy your content for another year to come!
dude, I finally took the chance and bought some yarn and crochet hooks. I'm less than a week into my crochet journey and this video has excited me so much. SO many great ideas that I will definitely try. my top three: windowsill cover, blanket, Chihiro's sweater! I also got Contemporary Crochet bc of this vid!
some knitting tips, if you feel the arms are too long, you can actually cut them, and then knit the perfect lenght for you, the same comes to the lenght of the sweather/top. Cut on the bottom, and insert your pins, and knit it as before, to your lenght
Gracias por mostrar tu trabajo es genial, soy mayor y apenas me aventure a tejerme un sueter que me encanta, viendo lo que tú haces es reconfortante, eres fabulosaa,te admiro muchisimo❤!
It’s so fun to see like a year overview and progression! I especially love your skirts, and I’ve started my own (for the fourth time) so I’m excited to see how it turns out.
Hello everyone! I tried to make this as short as possible but I just talk to much ;p
Anyways, I wanted to say really quickly that first, I’m incredibly grateful that because of you all, I’m able to work on my art every single day so it’s a privilege to be able to do this as my job!
I think the Spider-Man bag looked amazing! So give yourself some credit for doing a great job ❤

the editing in the intro??? jawdropping wow

exactly
Seems like something you’d see in Madoka Magica or a music vid
Literally!
You really ate with that intro! Also all the pieces you made are so creative and beautiful! 💖
I think you have my dream wardrobe
Watching this makes me want to make so much more clothes!
I do not know HOW you continute to slay with all your homemade clothes!
THE INTRO THO 😭😭😭😭😭
I have a skin allergy to wool and my crochet/knitting discord group we're telling me "I don't believe you, that's impossible, maybe it's just low quality and a little scratchy." I showed my rash and they said it was too gorey and triggering for some members. If you can be allergic to sunlight and water, you can most definitely be allergic to animal fibers .
this is so ridiculous bc people are allergic to common house pets such as cats and dogs, so y not other animals.
Your allergy could be to lanolin! It’s a sorta waxy substance that’s naturally on wool. I can’t knit with wool for my mom because that’s what she’s allergic to as well.
oh man 😞😞
27:44 you can try steaming the scarf with an iron (use steam only ofc) to “break the yarn” if it’s synthetic.
I was like "man I could learn how to knit just to make a copy of this sweater" I have been thinking of it since the brown crochet video but now I'm definitely gonna make one!

the new intro is so insanely good! love your projects
Everything came out beautiful, I love seeing young people enjoying the craft .

You are so creative! I love your channel so much.
Hi @ikoxun I love your work and it has always been a joy when a new video makes my notifications. I was wondering, where do you get your background music? It is so chill and I just want to listen to it. Thank you!

the chucky white cat beanie would look so cute with a pink bow!! kind of like hello kitty
You're such an amazingly talented artist. I would have no idea how to start making wearables without a pattern and you do it so effortlessly 😍
The nice thing about the duplicate st is that if you really want to you can carefuly take it ou and re st it i a different shape. 👍
As an elder knitter i am always so proud of your love of trying new things, learning techniques, and skill at design. This channel is a joy to watch and get inspo from for my own wardrobe. Keep doing what you love!
You made such cool things! Your video on the patchwork cardigan inspired me to learn how to crochet haha!
That intro is amazing 😍😍😍 Also, even though I don't know how to crochet, you constantly inspire me to push my limits ❤
Thank you so much dear one for sharing your journey with us ❤🎉

some knitting tips, if you feel the arms are too long, you can actually cut them, and then knit the perfect lenght for you, the same comes to the lenght of the sweather/top. Cut on the bottom, and insert your pins, and knit it as before, to your lenght
Your crocheting is so good. Very high quality. ❤
