atla is an animated masterpiece. also seeing katara on tv as a young brown girl was indescribably inspiring and healing. she was the only character i had at the time that i could actually relate myself to and aspire to be like.
Love the stash busting idea! Thank you for sharing! Maybe adding a purple lace border to the bottom of the granny square sweater could soften it and add some dimension to the bottom.
I love watching scrappy projects and seeing the creativity so I’m excited to get into this. Also loving your hair! The curls are my fave (natural girlies unite) but I also can’t resist a silky shiny moment 😂
that last sweater is sooooo cute, ive been watching you for over a year now and i love seeing how good you have gotten at making your vision come to life!!
The granny square sweater is beautiful... AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. I really like it with the black border. I was thinking in the beginning that the green and the orange colors would look really nice together, but I don´t think any of your squares was those colors. Well, - I really like what you make 🙂
I'm making a granny square sweater right now (it's a bit of a frankenstein project, I'm also knitting some parts) and I was worried if I slip stitched my squares together it would be too bulky. I went with mattress stitch instead, which is super easy and just pulls the edges of the squares together, so no extra bulk. Definitely recommend that approach!
Have you ever done the join as you go method for granny squares? It’s an alternative to slip stitching and perfect for when you want the border color to all be the same like your sweater! Love how all of these turned out 💗
They all turned out so cute and fun! Even the one you weren't too sure about. I'm in the very beginning stages of learning crochet and Tunisian crochet, so seeing the fun things other people are making is very motivational.
Love your projects!!! I’m currently working on a scrappy granny square vest cardigan. Just finished the granny hexagon cardigan using Premier maze color!!! Making several crochet summer tops. Goal for this summer…designing and making my first crochet dress…depending on how it comes out…will likely make a second one…having so much fun with the creative designing process!!! Thank you so much for your inspiration and having a just do it attitude. Having a go for it attitude allows you to make mistakes and hopefully learn from them…what can go wrong…just take it out and try again!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤
Thank you soo much I've had screenshots of that unif cardigan on my phone for more than a year waiting to recreate it but too lazy to analize the tipe of stitches you are a saint❤
I hope you don't mind that I'm clicking 'play' on each video youtube suggests to me after finishing eith watching and listening to the previous one while I crochet something else 😊 Confession- I've have a very rough week, and taking a timeout to actually sit and crochet something, and these videos are bringing me a lot of comfort 🩷
Girl, your taste in colors is amazing and look so good on you. I feel like I have very similar taste but I never gravitate towards the earthy, neutral tones while at the craft store. The bright colors get me every time. And then I never wear the pieces I make lol. That knit cardigan was my absolute favorite 😊
Yay! So happy to see another video from you!! Love the scrappy idea. After making a pink skirt based on your green one I’m making a blue one for my daughter! ❤🎉
Wow !! Beautiful sweater!! I also have a lot of yarn that I just transferred to space bags and put in my linen closet!! I need to try this! The problem is I hate granny squares..😂 but will def try!! New subby!! Yay❤
Girl, you dont know how happy it made me to see your hourglass shaped pieces for the cardigan. Not because i wish to you to fail or something, but something like this happenes to me all the time and I honestly always gatekeeping crochet for myself and sometimes think I only "act like I can crochet" 🥲😂 so dumb i know. But seeing others have this happened to them eases my soul. Thank you for always being an inspiration. And that cardigan turned out fire!!!👌
Everything looks amazing. As usual, you've done an amazing job with every single project. You look so cute with your hair straightened, it looks lovely! Honestly, I'm not sure there is a single thing that you could possibly make that wouldn't look incredible! You're one of my favorite fiber artists, and I truly love every single video you put out!
This was a great video. I am very inspired. I am working on 200 squares and I love the rhythm . because of your videos I am going to create a sweater! thanks
I just found you and I have watched almost all of your videos! I really like the ones where you crochet or knit something from a movie and I wanted to give you a tip about the TV series The Nanny - a treasure trove of fantastic clothes!
I've used a technique of slipstitching into the back loop of the edge stitch. It is a good idea to tighten up the very last round of stitches on each square. This can be done by moving down one hook size.
this could not have come at a more perfect time. the other day i gathered all my random yarn to make something and immediately got overwhelmed and gave up lol
I just wanted to come back to tell you I don't have insta or anything to show it off, but I just finished the first cardigan and it's so comfy and so perfect and I love it! Thank you for the tutorial. It used up nearly my whole stash exactly, but then our neighbor gave me some more yarn right as I finished it, so things evened out 😂 The universe doesn't like a yarn vacuum 😭 🧶
14:34 that’s because you’re pulling the first colour’s thread too tight when you switch, but you’re only doing it on either your knit rows or purl row. Probably your knit rows bc most people knit tighter than they purl.
I’ve knitted since I was 3.. no seriously!!! But, I always cast off in k1 p1 n it’s always been neat.. but, ya cardi’s are great.. they young n fun! 👍🏼
I love your granny square sweater. Much classier than the other two. The third unfortunately is just too big for you. Maybe a smaller hook would have been a better option? Definitely crocheting a small square to check sizing would have been advantageous. I liked number two also. The random blocks of colour are great. Personally I would have preferred you carried on with colour blocks to the sleeves. Pity you only had enough of the red/orange to complete one sleeve. It would have really worked if both sleeves were the same colour. I feel I am being critical? Not so. Lovely work and ideas. Very impressed throughout. Just highlighting my thoughts if I were to do the three items. You are a 💫. Xx
With regards to weaving in ends, just wanted to share that I use either a straight blunt sewing needle, or a metal tapestry needle with a slight curve at the tip- depending on the project and/or yarn, I will alternate between either of those! I've never used a plastic tapestry needle (and honestly have no desire to try one) but I've had nothing but success with either the straight blunt sewing needles or the metal tapestry needles with the slightly curved edges! I actually LIKE weaving in ends amd find it satisfying, which would probably classify me as a "weirdo" lol, but I am a very happy weirdo! 😁
The last sweater was really cute. I was just watching Avatar and crocheting, took a break saw your notification and am now watching you crochet while watching Avatar 😂😂😂
i was just looking at your hanging flowers in the background and then looking at my hanged flowers that i brought here yesterday, i guess it was fate that i found this video, i also need to nust my stash
I’ve been crocheting since I was eleven years old and still have never made myself a granny square sweater. Thank you for inspiring me, once again! I may do a witchy version though 🤔
#1) I think you’re really cute. I’m a grandma and I would love having you as another granddaughter. You seem to collect yarn like I do. However, I have daughters and a granddaughter who also crochet. They love to raid my stash. Your granny square sweater is very pretty. Thanks for posting.😊
You are. not alone..I have over 12 totes of yarn & I made a newyears resolution in 2024 not purchase any more yarn until I'm half done with my stash..I didn't exactly stick to it ..but I'll keep trying 😂
When the world need her most, she comeback.

I’ve seen recent comments since the show recently… I’m inspired to give it a try 🤩
I love the UNIF cardigan the reverse engineering was so impressive
Omg you’ll love avatar, one of the best things about the show is the character development.
Omg I’ve rewatched it over 13 times
Same here! They did a fantastic job on this series… so much better than the movie. I love how the show is close to the cartoon version.
Love the stash busting idea! Thank you for sharing! Maybe adding a purple lace border to the bottom of the granny square sweater could soften it and add some dimension to the bottom.

Your use of colors is also extremely good. I love them ❤

Watching your videos gives me the motivation to finish my own projects ❤

That first one is cute project! So is the Unif Cardi. Great job!

Excellent job on your scrappy projects, gave me some ideas, cheers from AUSTRALIA
Ive been making a scrappy rug for my bathroom, same as you, just too much yarn in my collection lol
Can always use camera grey scale to make sure colors don’t clash or match too much.
You’re so beautiful!!!! Love all of them my fav is the patchwork!!!
Good job, love the second cardigan of knitted blocks...
Wow. Very good job on all! I want to make a wearable in crochet or knit, but it seems so daunting.
you can definitely do it! It just takes a lot of patience but once you get the hang of how it is constructed, it's easy

All projects are just gorgeous
I get pain in my hands from crocheting. One of the things that I use to help is compression arthritis gloves.
I love all your projects! ❤
These came out so cute!!
Great project, cardigan looks wonderful!
I’ve been crocheting since I was eleven years old and still have never made myself a granny square sweater. Thank you for inspiring me, once again! I may do a witchy version though 🤔
I LOVE THE KNIT SWEATER!!!
Love them all! Well done and so creative.❤
#1) I think you’re really cute. I’m a grandma and I would love having you as another granddaughter. You seem to collect yarn like I do. However, I have daughters and a granddaughter who also crochet. They love to raid my stash. Your granny square sweater is very pretty. Thanks for posting.😊
Same sister. I have a yarn issue, too.
You should do the frankenscrap by froggity frog crochet. It's a weekly year long CAL for a scrap blanket.
You are. not alone..I have over 12 totes of yarn & I made a newyears resolution in 2024 not purchase any more yarn until I'm half done with my stash..I didn't exactly stick to it ..but I'll keep trying 😂
omgggg 😭 keep trying !
