In Highschool I played Guitar, In College I studied Music theory/orchestration for like 3 years before failing my audition to transfer to Berklee College of Music in Boston because my sight reading skills were awful (Still are) after which I went to university for 3D art. So as far as Music goes...Its like half and half...50% self taught/practice, active listening, and the other half was like "this is how music works" -
