People really lose perspective. It is just education, which is a commodity now. I went to a state school. When I graduated I got the same job, title and salary as two other guys in my company who went to Dartmouth and Stanford. Go to community college and a good state school to save money. The most important thing is work ethic. The second most important thing is the degree you get, e.g., computer science, engineering, accounting, nursing or some other marketable degree. The third and least important this is where you went to school. The most financially successful people I know either dropped out of college or went to state schools. One guy I know probably makes about 900k/year and graduated without honors from a state school. Don't waste your time and money on ivy league.

how ivy leagues work is getting the students who study there branded as special, as high IQ or smart people. They have a tie up with corporates who then pick these students up for high salaries and impart them training on the job and it sets them up for life.

I 100% agree with you. I went to a state university , paid my $300 a quarter fees and graduated in 4 years with a computer information systems degree . Lived on campus so I can still experience college life and graduated university with literally no Debt! What I loved about my state university was that it really emphasized learn by doing . Had projects with the Air Force and a senior project with Disney. When I graduated college I already had a job offer in hand . And now I’m a Director for a large media tech company . Nothing wrong going to a state university, a lot of companies recruit at a state university also and the main thing they(we) look for is not just your classes. But what else did you do. Did you have college internships , work experience , what’s your senior project what did you learn from it . Do you have good communication and potential leadership skills .
Kudos though to those who went to the Ivies or top schools. But for those that didn’t , it’s fine too. Work hard/ study hard would get you far. Don’t compare yourself and always try and do your Best. But at the same time enjoy your years at college they go by fast!

Is it an American thing to be asked where you went to school? I understand maybe asking that in a job interview (although it really shouldn't matter if you fit the requirements), but why do people ask outside of that? Is what college you go to really that important?
Also, I think the whole getting married later thing is just a trend that's happening with people of our generation which will continue with each subsequent generation. I'm not sure how small graduating classes are at Ivy Leagues, but I have no clue who most of the people I graduated with are. As far as I know, only two people from my high school are married and both have kids because they'd always wanted the family life. A lot of people I know don't really want to get married, let alone have kids.

Lloyd M Smith, who invented the Gene Sequencer wrote books. A jumpstart on your education that can put you miles ahead of your peers in months is just a few books away.

    For anyone who’s feeling down:
Romans 8:18 “The pain you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming!” John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Whatever is going on right now, have faith, your situation will get better. :) Jesus bless anyone reading this and have a great day!!🥰✨💖

Why do Ivy League grads define themselves based on their education for the rest of their life. You went to a Ivy League to star in some shitty d class tv show. What is stupid money? 500k 5mill? I know a college dropout that threw their money into game stop last year turned 100k to 10 mil no Ivy League necessary

I would tone down the conceitedness Taylor, I don't understand where this is coming from lately. I used to love your videos but the way you talk about yourself doesn't seem confident and sassy anymore in the fun way it used to- it's just very conceited and I believe that would change if you would make an effort to diversify your friend group a bit more and get some distance in order to understand what you sound like when you talk about the ivy league and yourself the way you do in this video for instance. I was so dissapointed I'm sorry or else I wouldn't be spending so much time typing this up for you. Please just try to reflect on how you are coming across in this video.

The best part of being born to very famous & really talented singing family you are guaranteed natural talent in singing from genes. If are related to frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury you are blessed with great singing genes from them 🎤 some people were both to be singers
