I got a (probably entry-level or mid-level) Simmons Beautyrest Queen-size mattress when I was about 12-13 ... I had wanted a bunkbed for my entire childhood , but times were tough etc- I finally got one at the age of about 12, and within a year I had totally "outgrown" it and was over it ... My Dad had done a little better at work, decided to take me to get me a real mattress, and we went to a local mattress store ... he picked out a decent-quality, Full-size mattress and the gentleman assured us it was very high-quality and a great deal ... when it comes time to conduct the transaction, my Dad gives the guy his name (and address, for delivery) and the salesman says ... "WAIT A MINUTE....You're not *THAT* GUY , are you? That works *THERE* ??" My Dad thinks he's got a problem, and so he snaps back, "As a matter of fact, I AM, is there a PROBLEM??" -- The guy completely flips out -in a good way- "OH NO, YOU 'RE MY BROTHER's BOSS!!! Joe Blow. You know, Joe *Blow* ! You did a huge favor for him and gave him a big break and got him out of a real jam! He talked about you all during Thanksgiving AND Christmas dinner! He couldn't say enough good things about you! I OWE YOU one, *for my family*!!! You don't want that piece of shit mattress! You want THIS one! For your son!" -- points to a $1,399 (this is probably like 1992-93ish) Queen-sized Simmons Beautyrest ... I'm like, HELL YEAH! My Dad's like, "We were buying a $500 Full-size generic , this is a $1400 Queen-size Simmons Beautyrest..." the guy is like, "NO PROBLEM, I'll make it work! Least I could do! Help your family out for the way you helped out mine! Trust me kid, you'll love it!" ... Best mattress ever. And when I got older, plenty of women would like to join me in thanking Simmons Beautyrest for making such an amazing mattress. I tried my best to break it in college, still kept going. Lasted a good ~15 years. Wish I could afford one today but amazing piece of bedding.

My husband and I both worked for Simmons in Fairfax Kansas right next to Kansas City ,Mo. We loved working for Simmons and wed had a Beauty Rest in our before. The workers are happy and well treated, fantastic insurance, We worked there in the 80"s and have had several of there beds and hide a beds. IAM LOOKING FOR AN ALL NATURUAL BED NOW. The dodo us greet quality foam but it is still foam and all foam has toxic gas in them. DUNLAP LATEX IS THE BEST BUT THE ARE USING MEMORY FOAM SO I WII AFTERALL THRSD YEARS BE CHANGING CO
I want a Beautyrest Black with a double side so I can turn it over. Is it possible to order one?
I bought a mattress but after one year this is broke I tried to make effective the warranty, then I receipt a certificate for the initial value that I paid but at the moment that I went though the store they told me that I need to pay the remain value for a brand new mattress that wasn't a good deal. No recommended buy this item, poor quality

Had a interview and a tour with Simmons today. The factory was hot, plays loud music, nobody looked happy.
You just want money. Youre mattresses are bullshit.
She didn't bother to say a single word about the warranty . As soon as I saw the pocketed coil design the warranty was what I wanted to hear about . Compare that design to restonics and ask yourself which mattress is going to last longer and be less prone to problems .

Don't buy this garbage mattress. My pillowtop started leaning a few months later they sent a guy to look at it then I was told to return it to the store I had purchased it at but the store had closed because of bankruptsy. Only store left near me was over 3 hrs away in Nj and I was in CT and they didn't want to pick it up so I was like I'm stuck with it because it just wasnt worth me going trought the hassel and paying for gas and tolls plus I had to tie it on top of my mini van to take it there so if it rain then it get damaged. So now I finaly replaced it with a Serta 12in foam mattress . I will never buy one of these single coils simmons mattress ever again or any simmons mattress. What a warranty!
