Norwalk is such a gem of a track. That was the fastest racing I've ever seen in eliminations. Great camera work man, you make excellent videos and the editing is sharp. 👍
I was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio, I was a police officer, bailiff, truck driver, all in the area. Until a year ago, I just thought this is one of those ‘hobbies’ for bored people. (no offense). I relocated to Winter Haven, FL 2 years ago. One night, neighbor was watching a race, all I heard was launch and that sound when it passes whatever camera through to the end. I had no clue what that was. Now 54, as cancer is killing me, I’d saw off my limbs with a rusty butter knife just to stand in between both cars, just once, to feel that shockwave. That is the most awesome noise in the world. A race divided by thousandths of a second. Both cars are the same. So many variables define every race. I have 7 months, on the far side, my goal is to find out where I can do that. Funny how insignificant things you couldn’t waste your time on are the things you want to waste your time on.
Best of luck buddy, go kick cancer’s ass! If you truly want to go and get as close as possible to the starting line, I’d recommend either A) looking into premium VIP tickets for NHRA events (not every track will have it, but some may), or B) go to an NHRA track the Monday after the event. A lot of teams will test the day after (especially when there isn’t a race the next week), and most of them won’t care if you stand close by when they launch them. My third bet would be posting this same comment on Clay Millican’s TH-cam channel, and see if he has any advice, or can help. Again, best of luck.
Nothing cooler than major league Drag Racing, to watch the fuel car's racing down the 1/4 mil....oh wait! 🤨 With that said, Thank you for posting your awesome videos, your camera work is outstanding & pretty much the only way I watch anymore, since, well you know, the whole 1000ft thing 🤷🏻♂️ To surmise Your videos = 💪😎👍 1000ft = 👎😒
@@RacersUnited Thinking about it the RT has to start when the ambers light(-.400) and count down till you leave the beam and compares it to when the green comes on. So if you leave the beam exactly as the green comes on you get 0.000 RT because .400 has been counted. So the RT has to start at -.400 when the ambers come on and count down to 0.000 and count up from there.
Gotta love when they launch early and still lose. Cheaters still lose. But not all the time. Saw many drivers creep forward right before launch, which gives them a complete edge.

Looks like once again, the HD and 4K are being very slow to process. Come on back when it’s processed for a much better quality video!

I appreciate your comment! Norwalk is awesome, definitely worth the 8 hour drive for me for the fan experience alone.
Excellent video! One of the best races I've seen in awhile. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man!
Great show of respect and sportsmanship from Guido... Flipping Cruz off @ 8:45 and then proceeding to call him chicken shit.
He was pretty heated after in the interview too, all for nothing.
@@RacersUnited he beat us fair and square in a good ol drag race. We all thought "you beat us...why are you mad?"
@@austinhord8317 that’s what I was thinking!

Congratulations to everyone in Funny Car.
Awesome Ford vs Chevy final! Tasca was strong, but Height’s only chance was to cut a light. RT over MPH this time.
I completely agree!
Either way they run hemi engines that are based off a Chrysler hemi design.
Great videography. Nice and steady footage. Do you mind if I ask what camera you are using? Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub, I appreciate your comment! I use a Panasonic HC-X1500 with a RØDE VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone. Hope that helps!
Que buenas carreras la verdad

I appreciate it bro!
Thanks for giving all the data. The RT is not what I'm used to though. Is that .400+ the RT? So that RT 0 = .400? I assume the pro tree is still .400?
The pro tree ambers are .400, however, the RT starts counting when the tree turns green. So 0 is .000, red light is -.001 and below.
@@RacersUnited ok thanks. It used to be displayed as .400 as a perfect light back in the day. So for my calculations it is now .400+RT.
@@RacersUnited Thinking about it the RT has to start when the ambers light(-.400) and count down till you leave the beam and compares it to when the green comes on.
