I'm a big Ultra Boost fan having four different pairs in my rotation. However, I do not really agree when people praise the Continental rubber for its durability. The nibs are still running thin quickly. Particularly at the ball of the foot area. I'd just like to know whether there are other people who feel the same way and think that the outsole is still a weak point.
New uncaged for some reason feels more "squishy" to me, I also have all 4 styles and just feel like the uncaged takes the cake in softness where as the ST is probably the most stiff imo
Have you tried out the puma Nrgy V2 yet? It looks so much more sexy on foot than the first version especially the black colorway!! I dare say that it's look can compete with the Ultra boosts. The puma wave on the side of shoe really gives it a nice flowing line on the side view of the shoe. You should do a review between the two puma versions on comfort / design.

The ST version tends to lean towards on the outside coz of that odd slanting shape on the heel area. I know they've been made for people who pronates but now it feels like you can easily twist your ankle because of that slight slant on the heel.
Yuri de Jong I did buy a pair. I actually went with my usual size (US 8) and they fit perfectly fine. I don't do any type of serious running though, I only wear them as a casual/workout shoe. So if you want a more snug fit then maybe go down half a size. If you don't like the sock like fit of the normal ultraboosts though then definitely give these a try. I'm actually thinking of buying another pair soon lol

Any idea on how to clean the midsole, theres some black residue on my boost material, I've tried Jason Markks and theres no improvement (the area between the boost circles)
I've washed mine, but theres still some yellow. Ive seen dudes paint midsoles with SneakersER markers. So iam gonna paint them with the same method hes paints his boost black. Angelus dye first then angelus paint. You could probably go with just paint.

To me the gradient pattern UB's look tacky. I would much rather prefer the V1 pair's prime knit pattern, compared to the sharper edged V2 gradient pattern.
Not the only difference between the v1 and v2 is the sole, the v1 is pk at the front and a different material at the back, whereas the v2 has pk all around

In my opinion, the uncaged is the most comfortable for me, with more cushioning in the back, and having that sock like fit, but if youre looking for more of a runner shoe, the ST is definetly the better choice.
