Ultraboost 21 has been life changing for me. Been suffering from plantar fasciitis for over a year now. Tried many different dress shoes and sneakers for work and many types of insoles. Tried on the 21s at the outlet and thought I’d give them a try. It’s been amazing! No foot pain at all at work anymore and can walk without a limp again. No insoles required. I need to stock up on these!
I agree, this is a very nice iteration. The boost needs some breaking in compared to the 20s and the weight in the heel takes some time to get use too. I love the look, just wish more boost was put in the forefoot for better durability and cushion. I wonder why they built the 21s the way they did. I am very interested to see the 22s! The upper knit is soo breathable too!
OG is still the best looking! it managed to balance between looking sleek yet subtle. the 21 looks too futuristic, and the 19/20 looks too blocky, just imho

Amazing content again Elliot! I totally agree with you how you rank those shoes. I might have wide feet but UB19 definitely feels tight around midfoot. They added more boost but that little cage in heel area prevents boost to expand so you can't feel that extra boost as well as you might want. UB20 is just how you described it. For me it's not so tight around midfoot if you open up laces a bit more. This shoe feels most stable. OG has the most comfortable upper in my opinion, it's so stretchy on forefoot. But if it is raining or wet the water will go through upper. New UB21 feels really good in many ways. Heel area is great. Upper is soft and stretchy. Only thing that might cause problems is that mud guard layer. It's quite soft but not as soft as upper and if you pick up wrong size you might end up having your toes pressed by that area where mud guard layer connects to upper. That doesn't feel good. I went TTS and with socks it feels very good but without socks (maybe how you might wanna go during summertime sometimes) I can feel that uncomfortable layer pressing my toes. Just my opinion and I haven't used these a lot yet. But if you have a chance to try them on before you buy I think you should do it.
Love the videos. Definitely disagree and think the the UB 19's are A LOT more comfortable than the OGs personally. The primeknit riding high against the ankle is annoying, ill admit. But walking & running in both, that 20% extra boost makes all the difference in the world - straight of the box & months later
I prefer the UB21 when it comes to looks as well. It’s aggressive yet still stylish. The OG is definitely a bit more subtle in design. As someone who is an athlete and who’s casual wear consists mostly of joggers, sweatshirts (jumpers), sorta athleisure but still street and tailored, it works for me. But I can see if your style leans more street rather than tailored and athleisure, that the OG would look more attractive as it fits that style better. Just my observation.

IMHO I have 24 pairs of UltraBOOST and my absolute favorite is the UltraBOOST ATR MID, they did not sell well bu the addition of the ankle collar and the All ñ-Terrain Outsole, to me makes them the most comfortable
Just bought some 5.0 ultraboosts from the adidas store for 99$ All of there ultra boosts are on sale right now for 120$. Unfortunately they dont have the 21's in :( lucky they have a 30day return policy lol
Agree. Specially if you have a bigger foot the heels just too big even tho they feel good. I still like the 19 and 20s tho also. But 21 they went to far.
I completely disagree. 21 are definitely a huge disappointment. As a sneakers and as a running shoes. And Adidas itself is hugely loosing with (mostly): Nike ZoomX technology (obviously!) and New Balance Fresh Foam. I mean if you compare Vomero 15/16, ZoomX Invincible Run, 1080 v10/11 or Foam More v3 to Adidas boost then it's like you buy a brick and put it under your foot (talking about UB). Adidas is doing 100% nothing to up their game. Nike, NB, Hoka, Asics, etc are way ahead lately, which I admit very sadly.
ZoomX: foam great, flyknit sucks. Invincible run: upper sucks, cheap as hell New balance: ugly as hell, except the rebel v2 Hoka: ugly as hell, soft foam no bounce Ub 21: firmer boost, more springy and stable, best looking by mile, most premium and comfortable by miles I'll take ub 21 anyday

And what's even more surprising - try Terrex Agravic Flow, Two Ultra or/and Speed Ultra (if you don't like Nike ZoomX Invincible Run and somehow you didn't like Vomero 16). But to be honest Invincible Run are great (right after Vomero 16) even though upper is only "OK" (it isn't cheap though). I get that UB21 has a legend, but weight itself disqualifies those shoes completely, that's why Adidas in UB22 started with reducing weight, next ankle-zone is little different padded, etc. But if you see padding in V16 or ZoomX Invincible then it's just poor of Adidas. And most important - main flaw for many people was fact that UB21/22 are made only for heel-strikers - this wasn't changed at all. (Sorry for chaotic response, I'm kinda in a rush today, but wanted to write you back)
@@chur25 it all depends of running/walking style, age, health condition, ground, weather and of course the comfortability or simply personal felling towards shoes. I have colleagues who likes ZoomX for walking (like me), Pegasus/Vomero/Ultraboost for running (also same here), but I also met in my life many people who likes hard Salomons (I'm not familiar with exact model but those were haaard) and even running barefooted 🙈 which for me would be absolutely impossible 😅 I'm not a teenager and I spend on this earth quite some time so now I live by this rule - "MOVE" - it isn't important how fast, how long, why or where. Just move (not with the car 🤣, Motorcycles are acceptable though, because obviously MCs are cool 😎🤣). But seriously, I know you're right. I'm just too old for any changes like that 😅 PS. Funny fact is that I myself mostly use Terrex-line shoes to "move" 😅 regardless of terrain.

First, UB’s are by far the most comfortable shoes ever made. To me, the 21’s to me are just plain stupid looking. The upper looks great but that drastically wide angle at the heel ruins it. That said, Im a 1.0 and 3.0 guy. Again all opinion
Do you find that yeezys and the ultra boost 20 fit similar. I typically wear between a 6.5 and 7 women’s not sure what size to get for the yeezy 350s. My nmds and ultraboost fit different.
I would just cop a 7 because yeezys seem to fit a little snug, but honestly 350s are made of a really nice knit material so it shapes to your foot (so get 6.5 for a more snug fit)

One unexpected advantage of the ub21 is how comfortable it is while driving because of the curvature of the heel

Zx 2k boost definitely! Definitely more squishy than ub21.
Most squishy I’ve tried. Invincible, then the ZX 2K. And 1080v11. All three are super plush

They're a D. They stretch out with the foot. I have the 20s and I have plenty of room. If I wanted it tight I just tighten up the laces.

why is it that the ultraboost 1.0 cost more than the 21 in australia. 21 retails for 270 and 1.0 retails for 280
