. Testing out Wash Chems touchless wash soaps and seeing if there is any difference between Pro 50 and Pro 100. My mother in law was nice enough to lend her Ford Explorer that has never seen the hands of a detailer so naturally it gets pretty dirty. I did reach out to Wash Chems after this video and they informed me that Pro 100 is a more diluted version of Pro 50 so that people are less likely to damage the paint and wheels on normal cars by making the mix too strong.

I washed my work van with chemical guys Mr. Pink auto shampoo using a foam Cannon on the driver side, then used a vehicle brush to scrub. Then the passenger side I used Wash Chems Pro 100. The driver side got cleaner but was still dirty even with scrubbing. This van hasn't been washed in years!!!! The passenger side where I used Wash Chems Pro 100 was looking really good 👍 I went ahead and resprayed the whole van with Pro 100 and wow it cleaned it really good!!! I noticed that if the vehicle is extremely dirty with years of crap it's good to spray it a second time and let it soak for 3 minutes. Make sure the vehicle isn't in the sun while you let it soak. I'm using an electric pressure washer with 1,700 psi it did ok. If I use a gas powered washer with a 3,000 psi I'm sure it would be a night and day difference. It's a great product just gotta mix it right and sometimes reapply, I'm very happy with it!!!!

For wheels we make our own 2 step system with this stuff. Spray Superior wire wheel cleaner with spray bottle (ph - 0), Foam with Pro-100 (Ph - 13 to 14) and Rince with a tornado nozzle. Can fully touchless even the most caked wheels. Been doing it as a detailer for over 6 months and will never go back to scrubbing. The time savings is insane.
That's not a bad idea. I usually use an iron remover and then foam this over and pressure wash off.
I finally bought my first bottle of Wash Chems the other day and I am going to try it out tomorrow for a pre-wash stage. I wanted to try this one first because the Stars and Stripes was EXPENSIVE, two step or not. But I am excited to give the Wash Chems a try. My current "active" or alkaline pre-wash is Griot's Foaming Surface Prep which is an excellent product and very powerful depending on how much you dilute it. I have had pretty good results with the Griot's but wanted to try a few others to see if they worked any better or were any more economical. Do you have any others you recommend? I know that DeScale from Carpro is an acidic shampoo so I was going to incorporate that into my decon routine, but the Stars and Stripes products do appeal to me, it's just that darned price they charge! And Renegade isn't any cheaper than the Stars and Stripes, it might even be more. Those two (Stars and Stripes and Renegade) look identical which makes me wonder if Renegade doesn't get their product from Stars and Stripes as a rebranded product? It's sorta weird that they look identical and are used in the same way. Thanks for doing these tests Martin, it's much appreciated because it gives me an idea how something works before I buy it myself. I know I will get an honest review if you are doing it.
I have a video on renegade, it's garbage. chem-x will eventually have a cheaper to ship option for stars n stripes in powder form so i am looking forward to that!
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa OK Gotcha. Yeah, I would love to try the Chem-X system along with their Snake Oil, but again, that's a steep price for two gallons of chemical being well over $100 (I think it's $109 right now). And their Snake Oil is $70!! for a small bottle. NOPE. That's way too high for that compared to other similar products on the market. I did get Wash Chems so I am excited to try that one out.
@joevanseeters2873 time saving is the name of the game with them. Prices are higher true, but for their target audience which is truck fleets, time is money and anything that saves them time is worth it.
Great video... I have seen some wash chem videos but they didn't do a pre rinse... You should have tried that way n see how it cleans. Thank you for making this video. Very helpful.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like they did an okay job. I noticed alot of browning coming from the wheels and tires.
Yea they worked well enough for removing dirt and grease. No affect on oxidation and minerals like you get from an acid but on a well maintained vehicle this should work perfect.
Their website says the Pro 50 is more concentrated and made for commercial use. If you look at the dilution ratio, the Pro 50 version is basic 2 times more concentrated. Seems kind of useless to make and sell the Pro 100 version.
