Thanks for the update. My father had prostrate cancer and 30 years later at 86 he is doing well. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there 👍🏼

I've been to MD Anderson with my mother-in-law. She and my father-in-law were full time rv'ers for 8 years before she lost her battle with lung cancer. She's the reason we motorhome now. My wife and I are closing in on retirement in 2 1/2 years. Your videos have helped us tremendously. I'm praying for you and your wife daily. ❤️

David & Brenda, thank you for the update. My prayers go out to you both. Also, M.D. Anderson is the best place you could have picked for this treatment. My parents both live in Houston, and both were treated at M.D. Anderson; my Mom (Breast Cancer) & Dad (Prostate Cancer). Both have since been cancer free (Thank God & M.D. Anderson) after the completion of their treatment and follow ups. I will continue to pray for you both, but I know you can beat this. Much Love & Blessing.

God speed David! I assembled a group . We rode our motorcycles cross country during breast cancer awareness month to raise money. $65,000 in total... We stopped at hope lodges across the country and made a stop at St Judes children’s hospital.

Thank you for the update, sounds like your in great hands, I to had a bout with cancer, unfortunately I had kidney cancer and radiation wasn't an option, so I lost my left kidney. Cancer free now. Good luck on your treatment. 🙏🙏🙏
Hey David and Brenda. Just finished our/my 6 weeks of radiation treatments. My skin looks incredible. My therapist wanted to know what I was using on it because I have had zero issues with breakdown. I put pure calendula oil on my skin before even leaving the treatment center. When I get home I take an aloe leaf that I have stored in the frig and rub it around the entire treatment area. I keep the area either aloe’d or oiled all day. There is a mom in our hood that gathers the marigolds and makes the oil.

David, our prayers are with you, It sounds like you have a great team and treatment lined up, Budhi has had prostate cancer as of two years ago, and we chose to go through surgery for it because he was not a good candidate for radiation but he still has had after effects to this day.
As a fellow current Anderson patient, I totally agree with your assessment that this is the FINEST place to be if you're dealing with any kind of cancer. Mine is/was leukemia and a stem cell transplant. At 74, I'm doing very well. I've been here for six months and expect to leave for home by the end of January. Having an RV has been a blessing in terms of staying in Houston for my treatments. Good luck David.
So glad you are doing well. I wanted you to be aware of a new oral ADT that just got approved this month by FDA. Starting in mid Jan, 2021, patients will be able to take relugolix, an oral ADT once a day vs the injection of leuprolide every month. This will enable you to not have to go into a clinic but just take a pill. If it is indicated for your case, I wanted you to know about it! Good luck!!

I thank you for your update as well David, and yes, here in southwestern Canada, we're staying in our bubble as well, but wanted to check up and see how you are doing! My wife went through breast cancer nearly 30 years ago now, and does take daily medication, but is healthy and enjoying life immensely. One question though - will you loose your hair with this type of radiation? Actually, I'm sure Brenda knows the answer to that I'm sure...but thought I'd ask, realizing your current hair status. lol. Sending nothing but positive wishes your way, and always look forward to your video's! Get healthy, and we'll see you on the other side!

Thanks for the update, Brenda and David. My father had prostate cancer 25 years ago and chose radioactive seed implants, which cured his cancer. Today’s treatment is so far advanced, I have no doubt you will be completely cured by this new therapy. God bless.

David, as difficult it can be to go thru cancer treatment (my head/neck stage 4, 20 years ago) you are providing an invaluable service to those who may be in a similar place as you. Please continue to document your journey as it will be therapy for you as well others trying to make similar decisions. The internet is a powerful tool....so shout from the mountain top. Hi david , well i have prostate cancer and kidney cancer i opted not to do radiation therapy but dubble immum therapy , i ts a been a year new since i have been diagnozed both cancers, and the therapy is working its spread all over my body since the found it , but its been shrinking since they discovered it a large amount , evry 3 month they make a scan and until now all things looking good so far, my next scan it 12 jan 2021 i have treatment evry month well all the best regards cees from the Netherlands

Thank you for the update, we wish y’all all the best, I lived in Houston until 2017. I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer there and I cannot think of a better place to fight it. I was fortunate that all I had was thyroid cancer since cancer runs in my family. Like I said wish y’all all the best.
