Head injuries- the gift you can’t return

In this video I talk more about EUC safety and my recent injuries and close calls. In particular I discuss a head injury that to some extent still plagues me. Great information, much to think about. I don't like being on the streets myself, too many distracted drivers on top of pot holes, ride safe! Great video and thanks for taking care of others!

I avoid roads with a lot of traffic as much as possible, people are on their phones and not paying attention and I have some friends that got injured badly and needed major surgery. Thankfully I have a lot of backroads and trails where I do most of my riding.

Some more great points. Ive thought much about whether its worth it or not to ride eucs. To be honest the thrill and enjoyment i get out of eucs is special to me, and ive decided that its worth the risks. I am however always paranoid about cars. The people drive so crazy nowadays

I love trails like that and walk them frequently. I have been slapped in the face so many times by springy trailside foliage that on narrow trails I now wear safety glasses. Geeky? I don't know, but I need both eyes and spares are hard to obtain. Good quality, comfortable safety glasses with good optical qualities are available economically at e.g. Home Depot and many other such stores.

"helmets are expensive, spend the extra money..."
Ah no.. ECE certified helmets can be had for a quarter of the price of one of those TSG helmets that everyone uses, that are the equivalent to a bicycle helmet! There is no excuse to not get a proper helmet, and certainly not the price.
