These two, first off aren't actual cops. second they don't even know what they are dealing with, yet they are willing to intimidate and inconvience someone who's not breaking any laws. They should know the law they intend to enforce before harassing people. Plus. Why are two cops in two separate cars pulling over one guy on a unicycle? Seems like a waste of taxpayer money to me. I brought my 4 wheel stainless steel electric bike that I built to a local state park on a trailer. My plan was to ride around on a paved path with my family ( on regular bikes) . The rangers watched me unload it from the trailer along with the rest of the bikes. Then stopped me and told me I couldn't ride it on the path. It really pissed me off because you don't get a lot of time to spend with your family the way it is, and I ended up missing out on spending that day with them. All of the components on that bike came from an electric scooter supply store online and doesn't even go as fast as that unicycle. Anyway thanks for sharing your video. I didn't have a video of my experience but it brought me back to my scenario. Joe

    • @rawr6306
      @rawr6306 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m interested in what their reasoning was for prohibiting your ebike. If it was two wheels would it have been allowed? What about 3? Training wheels not allowed?
      How about if someone is disabled and using a scooter? I’ve seen, and almost been run over, some move very fast. Maybe you can get a doctor’s note that you have balance issues and therefore the four wheel cycle is your mobility device…
      You can probably tell I’ll argue just about any point with anyone especially if I feel they’re being arbitrary. Just ask the teachers from my elementary school… 😅

    • @mazdalorean
      @mazdalorean 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @rawr6306 , the reason they gave me was that it was only comparable to a golf cart since it was a unique machine. It is 48 volts, and did have (4) 110 amp hours batteries in series to get the 48 volts. Also I did purchase a golf cart charger for it, but I'm sure all these specs were over their head. I was just bummed that they gave me a hard time about the whole thing. It wasn't like I was selling drugs , or committing some crime or something. I just wanted to ride around with my family. Joe

So they're letting the 5,000 lb., 300 HP death machines speed, but keeping a really close eye on you on your 70 lb., 5HP EUC that tops out at about 40 maybe.

    This is classic park ranger behavior. They see something they do not understand, stop you and then go through a book trying to find something to get you on.....and fail at it. Long time ago I was stopped in a nation park on trails while on skates by one park ranger who took up 30mins of my time trying to find something to ding me on when another park ranger come up and let me go and educated the the first ranger I can be there. It is not all of them but you will run across a bored one and those are the worse.

      There are certain trails that are made for MTB's too because the main trails there are just too many people on them and they don't want an accident plus they are kinda steep anyways
