This is an easy to watch educational video about Attachment issues. These are more commonly know as mommy or daddy issues. Although those are not true psychological terms they are the terms that the greater public knows. Attachment issues are a real thing and they are the result of childhood abuse. This abuse comes in the form of childhood neglect. Too many good people are living troubled lives and have no idea why. The first step in dealing with attachment issues is also the most important step towards recovery. First you must become aware of the concept of attachment issues, understanding the cause and that you can repair the damage that was done to you at no fault of your own. Learn how to live the most rewarding life possible by cultivating the most amazing relationships. After all what is more important than our relationships. They are what makes life worth living.

the title 🤣 deer in headlights. I 've had people stop dead in the street at STOP SIGNS!!!! right in front of me. one lady stopped 300ft from me just dead in the road for no reason. my tip to you is what I've learned to do since dismounting and remounting was still fresh or until you get more experience, I do little circles at the stop until they get the hint to go. nowadays I combat slow lingering cars behind with a transition to sidewalk, a slow down, or turn to the right into a street and stop on the corner until they pass then follow them. at 4way stops I don't even go close to those anymore. I take the sidewalk go down the road abit and just illegally or before you even come close and cross because it's easier. still a damn hastle but when you see cars hesitant just act like you are not crossing and do ciricles at a distance until they pass. people really have no clue how fast you are traveling. mine only reaches like 25mph max barely kick to 22. avg 19mph. overheard one guy say "those things go crazy speeds" so what I'm guessing is they don't know if I'm going to blast 40mph at any moment. thinking about attacthing tassles like an AC unit so they can tell I'm moving super fast or not. anyways winded af essay. You'll find adjustments and ways to combat most of the issues after 6 months of riding I still come to those that are curious, seen people record me so most people are just dumbfounded I'm the only EUC in my city so I try to understand. just have to keep distances super far from cars and if passing I always go behind because no one is paying attention every time I tried to pass in front I almost got hit because they only look one WAY!!!

I wasn't expecting this. But I got more than I bargained for. Here. I was interested to see why you liked the unicycles versus traditional electrified skateboards, and instead I found a very genuine person who authentically represented their place in their life, with beautiful and heartwarming examples of how they got where they are now. I understand some of the things you say are relatively self-critical, and I get that. But from an outside perspective, anyone who has had the chance to fail over and over again and still come out, serving others, and managing to find things that they enjoy later in life, I think as a very good example of the middle path that most people find in this world. So, I wouldn't be too critical of the things you count as mistakes. In fact, Thomas Edison went through hundreds and hundreds of experiments before he found the right filament that was sufficient to create a light bulb. Imagine if he was so self-critical that he cratered after only a hundred attempts, or even less. I'd say you are ahead of the game. Much thanks for this wonderful interview.

Your message seem to be that you wish you had done more and could have been more but at this stage of your life you are not willing to put in the effort it takes to be more. But you are comparing yourself with what you could have been, if you had put in the effort. Well, don't beat yourself up too much. You are still doing a noble work and still living a decent life. My father said to me once: If I had started medical school at 50, I would graduate at 56, finish my residency at 63 and still have a good 12 years to work as a doctor until 75. I myself was faced with the decision at 49, should I stay at the same comfortable government job or start over and try to be "more". This February I had just survived my first year at a law firm at 50, it was awful and really hard in many ways, but at the same time rewarding and I've learned a lot. Still haven't seen any money, in fact I have no money left at all from my savings. But in two more years or so, at 53 I might be able to become a lawyer. But I still have doubts everyday if it's worth the effort. Sometimes I just long for a simpler life.

Indeed, I know what you mean. Like I said if I wanted it bad enough I would have made it happen. Now I’m looking to streamline my life not take on huge challenges. That is unless you consider trying to create a successful TH-cam channel a huge challenge. I personally think it’s easier than becoming a physician. And frankly more enjoyable as well. Thanks for sharing your story with me. Think about things and just follow your heart even if others don’t understand. You’re the only one that needs to be okay with it

Lack of a father in the home is a big detriment to a child. But also keep in mind, there are many many people who became "successful" later in life. Figure out what you want and start immediately to go for it. The two best times to start were 30 years ago, or today. You can do it. Start today to extinguish regrets tomorrow. You got this 😎

“I know I should have done more” If you look into hedonistic adaptation you’ll find that whatever you would have pursued you’d still feel you would not have done enough. Even Elon Musk thinks he’s not achieving enough. Think about it. It’s part of human nature to strive for something better. Because our ancestors that did survived and those who didn’t died off. We’ve inherited those traits. Also, you’re not lazy, subconscious calculation of energy expenditure to get a good return (ROI) states that in your case it’s not worth it. Likely because you don’t enjoy studying at school. “I was a descent student when I was focusing” … smells of adhd - inability to focus on something boring (executive function deficit). Try vyvanse, you’ll be amazed if you have adhd, you’ll feel like a laser focused genius. Wealth past 40 is health, not finance. Forget about money. Time, health, connections, belonging and meaningful pursuits are way better. I’m broke but I’m happier than when I was stacking money to pay my mortgage. Last point; a lot of people want what other have (money, status, etc) but don’t want to do what those people did to get there. Like 30 years of 80h/week and childless, hated by most people, no fun, etc. They just want the end result. That’s not how life works.

I'm your age and feel exactly the same......thanks for your post (subscribed). One thing to add (a serious warning for those considering investing resources in education), is that you can spend a lot of time, money and effort on qualifications-and if you then try to fall back on them in later life (and fail to use what you've done as an immediate 'springboard' to better things), you can find that they become obsolete/superseded/invalid (ie completely useless). You'll then have to start from scratch and redo what you've already done (or do something completely new from scratch). Career changes are harder and harder as you grow older......make the right decisions when you're young (and whatever you do, don't chop and change-stick at something). Don't bother with higher education and white collar work-it's a waste of time, effort and money.
