So you're saying that even used it's still reliable? I'm looking at possibly purchasing one but seeing other folks in my family have bad experiences with Infiniti got me hesitant. They've never had one of these might I add.
Several people around me own these monsters. They just look very dated compared to some other luxury SUVs. The buttons to interact with the screen displays are the same as I had in my old 2012 Murano. It certainly needs a panoramic sunroof.
@@davis6123 Same steering wheel? Not even close. If you think the qx80 has poor build quality, I got bad news for you about the plasticity GM product. Plenty of reasons people buy the QX80 over the Escalade.
Nicely done! Thanks for the upload. That Infiniti is a battleship.... and about as outdated. Just rented a Kia Borrego and a Hyundai Tucson. Nice units....
Despite the not updated gauge cluster you really feel this is the same vehicle as a Honda pilot costing 40k while being able to tow over 8k pounds with a 5.6 v8 and over 400hp? The interior while not new is still a little luxurious.
The only reason I see this SUV starting at 65K is the third row and that doesn't really justify the cost. Like most SUVs it costs too much for what it offers. Manufacturers know people will pay extra to be like everyone else.
They always try to give me this vehicle or a Nissan Armada at the enterprise location i rent at. Everytime i rent at that location they always try to give me this vehicle or an armada.
These are just a NO from me, Infiniti could do much much better. Not worth it, could get a GLS for around the same price as this and get a much better car...The design isn’t terribly ugly but I’ve seen much better. The interior is one of the uglier interiors in its class, I wouldn’t want my sub 65k SUV too look like it’s the interior out of a 06 Infiniti M45, it didn’t work then and it still doesn’t work now.
If the infotainment was more modern I could see myself loving one of these but it’s just so dated :( Literally just swap the screen and controls for something bigger and newer, and leave the rest of the design as is... but man.
My wife drives a 2015 Nissan Sentra SV and has the same freaking steering wheel aside from the logo. This Infiniti is supposed to be a luxury brand. Smh
You have gotten substantially better at reviewing cars vs when you first started. I enjoy watching your videos
Thanks Josh! I'm trying. 👍
The metric of the QX80 that is always neglected to be mentioned…reliability. Low Maint costs makes up for the low fuel
fuel economy to me….

@@rytiskithese are the most reliable SUV in its class.
@@NeverAgain12292 Thank you.
@@rytiski It's based on the Nissan Patrol, the direct competitor to the Toyota Land Cruiser on ability and reliability.
Same instrument panel screen as my 2007 G35 had.

This is a 2019?!?! Looks like something from 2012 inside. “Aging model portfolio”...lol
Or 2009 better yet
…and extremely reliable
So detail. Thanks. I’m planning to get a use one, 2020 with apple car play for $27-30k 4x4
Did you get one? I'm in the market as well!
thanks, Sam Hyde!
Is this a different one from your 5 minute review? I would NEVER pay $65,000 for this!
I rate this car a 7/10
Okay would you buy a used one? I'm curious because seven out of ten is okay right?
The fact that anyone would take this over the Escalade is insane to me.
I mean that’s the same steering wheel from the Versa, just with leather and wood. Yikes
The dealer rebates are pretty ridiculous though. No one is buying this thing for $65,000 unless they got taken aback.
This’ll run for hundreds of thousands of miles after the Escalade becomes outdated and gets junked and hold its value doing so

"Outdated" aside, GM made products are riddled with reliability issues. THATS why.

I’d rather be in the QX80…especially in heavy traffic
This is the same thing as the 2019 Nissan Armada but for way cheaper.
You said it wrong lol

The 2021 is abit different but not much
So you rent a luxury vehicle and they can't eve clean it before giving it to you? That is ridiculous.
Mike Morales He’s not paying to rent a luxury vehicle. It’s a free upgrade
The car rental you use deserves zero.stars.
Howdy, great review as always! This car is absolutely disgusting!😸😻😸

National couldn’t pay me to take this crap. I would rather find a rare Navigator or downgrade to a Tahoe or Expedition.
AJ Lee it has apple CarPlay for 2020

The Sentra has a wood-lined steering wheel?
Man that was dirty rental car. Gross
