Introducing Impact Framework - opensource tool to measure software by the Green Software Foundation

Impact Framework (IF) is a cutting-edge, opensource measurement tool debuting at Carbon Hack 24 (grnsft.org/hack) that is democratizing impact data and decentralizing software measurement to reduce software's environmental impacts.
Until now, no single solution has succeeded in calculating software's impacts across all components and environments - be it carbon emissions, water or land usage, or other chemical impacts.
IF takes observations you can easily gather about running systems, such as CPU utilization, page views, or number of installs, and converts them into environmental impacts like carbon, water, energy, and air quality in an auditable, replicable, verifiable, and transparent way.
