Here's Episode 9 What Everyone Is Wearing in New York | Where Did U Get That. I'm reading all the comments and glad you like watching as much as I do making this series. Some have asked why I don't show myself in these episodes and it's because I'm always in front of the camera on TH-cam, Instagram and the blog and this is my one time that I've carved out to focus on others. It's my 'day off' video in a way from focusing on what I'm wearing and shining a light on what others are instead. Hopefully that helps!! I see other started filming videos like this but no one like karen, the way she talks to people and during the video is genuine and not forced or copied from someone else and thats why this videos are so great because they are autenthic and real
I’ve seen WPIW in Paris (from the Purple Palace) and in Amsterdam and I don’t think they are copying her, they just took inspiration and showing what people is wearing in each city. I personally love it because the world is big and I love variety

YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!. This makes me miss my NYC life so much. You know sometimes when you watch TH-cam so many " influencers" wear the same thing from the same place and that's not fashion, there is very little fashionable style it's all robots on the same train. Karen's style and appreciation for style, not fashion but style shows Zara is not the definition of style and when you show everyday people who are knocking style out the box, it says style is what grounds you whether its all black, florals or strips. living on the countryside and being interested in fashion can be so hard to combine. people often look at you in a weird way even if youre not even wearing something super outgoing, just something theyre not used to. Your videos really help me find the confidence to wear whatever the hell i want so thank you so much and greetings from germany!

My favorite cashmere sweater....TJMaxx men's...had a huge hole in it on the right front ....I use a kilt pin to gather it up and close the hole. It's the leather pull on the zipper against the charcoal gray that I love. Clearance.

I’ve visited and from the moment I arrived I felt welcomed (airport customs guy told me I looked great) - set off my trip perfectly as I always get nervous at airport security with no valid reason to be worried! Lol the positivity of New Yorkers is so nice. I love how they’ll randomly strike up a conversation with anyone. So many times I had the encounter of ‘oh you’re British? How do you like nyc? The coat at 8:30 is poetry! I would love an evening episode. I find that I notice it more when I am in cities abroad. London was the place where it hit me the most. Maybe you could do another episode focusing on very early in the morning? Thank you for another amazing and epic video! I'm an american (from Los angeles) been living in London almost 5 years now-whoop! one of the best things about London is people watching, the Brits have a unique sense of style and "I dont care what you think" attitude. Also, there's the "smart casual" and the creatives in the East London...as well as an electric mix of styles from all over the globe...It's fun to see the trends that are coming out of London. Getting to see what you are wearing (especially when you get compliments, I want to see your fabulousness too.) 2. Notes on the items/brands your subjects are wearing. This is more work on your part, so I understand that it's a lot to also add this. Lastly, the production values here with music and the art you find on the streets too is sooo unique and gratifying to see. Thanks again and keep being great!

What I really liked so far with this series. Is that people are drawn to you to Karen and that's really special. You make them smile you make them laugh.😆 Seriously, you could see that they enjoy talking to you. You gave them the best compliment you could, and that's them being them. The coat at 8:30 is poetry! I would love an evening episode. I find that I notice it more when I am in cities abroad. London was the place where it hit me the most. Maybe you could do another episode focusing on very early in the morning? Thank you for another amazing and epic video! I like the idea below about an official documentary, but remember, never give up editorial control.

I absolutely love these video series. With everyone you do I love them more and more!! I am 59 years old and I wear exactly what I want and I don’t care what other people think LOL. I really enjoy your commentary, it makes me laugh and you're fun and engaging. I'm an american (from Los angeles) been living in London almost 5 years now-whoop! one of the best things about London is people watching, the Brits have a unique sense of style and "I dont care what you think" attitude. Also, there's the "smart casual" and the creatives in the East London...as well as an electric mix of styles from all over the globe...It's fun to see the trends that are coming out of London. Blessings form across the pond!
Hi Karen. Love this. It reminds me of Bill Cunningham's work for NYT. I loved his series and so miss it. Thanks so much for your creativity. I do miss 2 things from your previous videos: 1. Getting to see what you are wearing (especially when you get compliments, I want to see your fabulousness too.) 2. Notes on the items/brands your subjects are wearing. This is more work on your part, so I understand that it's a lot to also add this. Lastly, the production values here with music and the art you find on the streets too is sooo unique and gratifying to see. Thanks again and keep being great!

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I'm recovering from a surgery and just caught up with your new episode this morning (Saturday). It was the best medicine ever! I look forward to these and replay them over ad over. You do such a beautiful job interviewing your subjects, making observations about the colors, seasons, mood of the city. These are the best street style documentaries every made and I have seen many. I am obsessing over the HAT that the first fellow you interviewed in this video was wearing...LOVE IT....and the green cowboy boots the older woman was wearing. THANK YOU for these and I will be watching these over and over as I recover. Someday, I hope to float by you in NYC. That is my dream
