My tip after playing all of them: If you played any of the old Tony Hawk's games as a kid on the PS1, PS2 or NDS, and you want to experience that nostalgia on the GBA, go with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for the GBA. It's the best overall package and the gameplay and controls will feel right at home.

Tony Hawk 2 didn't age well?! You gotta be kidding; I've been playing it for two decades and never got tired of it.
Guess you never took those rose tinted glasses off bud. The game is not good by today's standards.
It ain't good by today's standards. But it is still fun compared to a lot of what today releases.
Many people just checked out that one as it was quite popular at the time, but THPS3 is much better in every way and I still enjoy playing it on GB Micro. The smaller screen makes everything look very crisp, and the shoulder buttons are suited to the play style.

I just started playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 on the Gameboy Micro and I’m finding it really fun and addicting. Probably put about 4 hours in in the last two days
Pro Skater 4 was where the series peaked on handhelds until Skate land came out for the DS.
I 100% pro skater 2 on gba 19ish years ago and still love it
Tony Hawk's games are the only games that the letters of things you keep doing don't really ruin the experience.

I beat every challenge in thps4 gba, it was actually very fun, didn’t care much for the other gba Tony games though

Thank you! I'm from Romania, but I don't have a romanian accent (my fellow romanians pronounce words different than me when speaking english). My accent is a mixture of multiple accents.

@@arfuiri1797Thanks for asking. Yes. Indeed I was learning Italian. I finished the Duolingo course two years ago and went to Italy. I'm able to read books in Italian with fair ease, but I'm not that good in the active level. I can understand Italian very well, but when it comes to have a conversation with someone, some words don't come right away and I have to buffer. (leading to a lot of "ummm"s 😄 and have to google translate the word quickly).
I'm still reading books in Italian for my dissertation. I get to exercise the language that way. The only problem is, unless I get to speak it with someone I won't be able to master it verbally. It's the same problem I had (or have) with English. I was in an advanced English class in Middle School. I had English shoved in my head without mercy. Problem was, I learned grammar, but never got to speak English with someone. Only when I started doing the TH-cam videos with voice overs a year ago have I gotten better at speaking the language. The channel is a great exercise for me.
Now on Duolingo I have to study Latin. I need it for my dissertation.
