Eat healthy, exercise and walk a mile daily, take vitamin tabs, eat black garlic and fermented cabbage such as Sauerkraut & kimchi, take one spoon of extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar, drink kefir yogurt drink & matcha green tea and sleep well. That's what I've done and just celebrated my 80th birthday lately. 😊😊😊

As someone who used to be a trucker and suffered extreme hemorrhoids, it's very difficult to do carnivore which I thought for a while was the end all be all. I was surrounded by people who swears carnivore was the perfect diet and you didn't need plants almost cult like. It was getting too much because I knew that it was far from being perfect because consuming meat only for a long time gave me extreme constipation and it was horrible for my hemorrhoids. I had to down a few sweet potatoes on my 'cheat' period just to have normal bowel movements and heal the lower anal area and make the pain bearable. I am now currently doing a 20 percent plants, 80 percent meats and fats ratio diet and its much better.

@@yeastori My experience from the early 2000s was that eating lots of meat will dry you up in the colon and you will have to take something to flush all that out because the decaying animal meat will start to rot. Go easy on the meat and make it is pasture raised.

I've experienced only once constipation after eating meat - that was processed meat with added fibre. I ate cabanossi with 2% of fibre for 6 days straight. That was when I realised how dangerous fibre is and since then learned a lot on fibre. So if you have constipation that is solely attributed to fibre (mostly cellulose). Meat has to be without any other ingredients, not basted, no spices, no starch.

You poor thing, don't you know that it's fat that makes poop slide down the pipe? Meat is the protein and fat is the slippery stuff. If you eat too much fat, you'll end up with the runs. You should have put butter on your salmon.

Did you get rid of hemorrhoid . Im a trucker to. Im starting to believe it's a sitting down all day thing. But dark green leaves salad topped with shaved carrots and olive oil helps keep things going. I'm just starting to feel like I need a career change. Like it might not be a diet problem.

So interesting! Gas and bloating is good, wow! Also, the thought that you need to eat what your ancestors ate: my husband is of African ancestry and is from Jamaica and he has to eat avocados, coconut, ginger and tropical fruits. You can tell his body is asking for them, it's not just that he likes them. I seem to need apples even though they are far from my favorite fruit or favorite food.

Fibre causes both constipation (mainly cellulose) and diarrhea (mainly pectins from fruits). What's more, sometimes people drinking coffee in the morning have diarrhea - guess what, a good mug of coffee contains up to 2 g of fibre, I've learned recently. This one is a bit more complicated: the ones drinking morning coffee who don't have diarrhea have healthy villi and microvilli which stop the chyme from abrupt movement which is called diarrhea. Your villi and microvilli are constantly destroyed by cellulose (fibre) in your diet so adding any more fibre is adding fuel to the fire. This causes constant inflammation in your guts and that is an underlying cause of bowel cancer or any cancer as your microbiome is constantly depleted (it's your brain and immune power).

Sorry I had to edit this to clean up my hastily written comment:
I watched this twice and am perplexed by the activities our Gut Buddies, Digestion and Gas.
Ok, we have in our guts what I will refer to as the gut “Good Guys” and the “Bad Guys” and both are competing for a food source to feed off the stuff we eat!
Question #1: In this Battle Inside the Human Gut, if you are eating your Fiber but at the same time you are eating things that are sweet (Sugar) and everyone inside the gut is being fed the “food” they like, who is going to win this battle?
Question #2: Regarding Gas, I eat between 25-50 grams of Fiber per day (Organic Flaxseeds, Psyllium Husks, Raw Vegetables, etc) but I have a hankering for sweets (Organic and non-GMO) and I drink plenty of water so I don’t get cramps due to eating all that Fiber. Here comes the Gas! Which bacteria are going to win this battle?
It’s not like I can’t afford it but I know I need to up the non-sweet foods (Pastured Meat, Wild Caught Sardines and Salmon, Walnuts, Flaxseeds, Basil Seeds, Sacha Ichi Nuts, Baru Nut, etc) and make my own sweet items with Allulose and use Spices as it is not really necessary to purchase the store bought Organic and non-GMO sweets.
Thank you Dr. Gundry for this timely video advice!

70 years of SAD, Seed Oils, Vegetarian then Vegan diets with excess glutens, glyphosates, oxalates, lectins, phyto toxins etc.. related intestinal damages that have resulted in SEVERE leaky gut, SEVERE allergies & a SEVERELY compromised immune system!!

I am going to attempt reducing my hard goat cheese & goat kefir to see if there's a reduction in the constipation issues, however, I LOVE MY GOAT BUTTER, GOAT CHEDDAR CHEESES & GOAT KEFIR.

Carnivore, which I’ve done for eight years, never caused me constipation. My stools were always perfectly formed. I just didn’t go frequently enough. Maybe once every 10 days. Every food you’ve mentioning doesn’t work with my issues. I have interstitial cystitis, and carnivore is the best for it.
I’m experimenting with 1/2 avocado a day because now my bladder tolerates them.
I do take some mg glycinate mini capsules before bed. I also use mg cream at night. The oil stings and is itchy but the cream doesn’t do this. Potassium will flare most people with IC.
In fact urologists used to insert potassium in the bladder and if the patient experienced pain then they were diagnosed with IC.
To go potty, I’ve found that moving when I get up, and also drinking cold water.
I can’t take vinegar at all, and in the past I couldn’t eat sauerkraut without a flair. Now I can eat a tablespoon on real sauerkraut twice a day.
So far after four months experimenting with adding some plants I am worse. More inflammation all over the body. No improvement in bowels. More bloating and lots of laziness. I’ll keep experimenting. Going to try spore probiotics. All those prebiotic plant foods cause me bloating and joint pain.

Since you've been on carnivore for so long stick with it. It's not worth it going back to plants especially that you've changed many metabolic pathways and every time you'd be experiencing side effects with doubled impact. Once I've eaten some veg salad and I was in agony for 5 hours. That taught me a lot 😂. If you'd be gradually reintroducing the poison you won't vomit straight away, you'll get used to it. That's my advice based on personal experience.
