    Your hair is curlier than mine at the start so i did not believe this would work. That plus i rarely refresh because it looks so bad afterwards. But i tried this today and Holy cow was i wrong! Day six and it looks really amazing. Thank you. This is life changing (or at least buys me 10-15 extra min in the am).

    Learning to love my curls and I love this method to refresh. Spray bottles always left me a crown of frizz, so I used to rinse and diffuse every day to get volume back, but protecting my hair overnight plus your refresh has been my life saver both for my hair health and time saved! I'm on 2nd day hair and I know my 3rd day hair will look just as good considering how it's just as bouncy today as it was yesterday! And I feel good knowing that I haven't stripped my hair of moisture or used any more heat on it. Thank you for sharing this and helping a curly sister out!!

I tried it with a little aloe vera gel and my hair looked better than it ever has after refreshing. I love that you don’t have to saturate your entire head of hair with water. I’m new to the CG method and I have to wear my hair up for work how do I manage the kinks that come from this 😫 do you have any tips for surviving the transition phase? I’m dying hahah

      If you use an invisibobble or a puff cuff you won’t get any kinks when you take it back down. 😊

      Do you protect your curls overnight?

    So do you do this every day until you wash your hair again? Applying a little bit of gel in your hair every day?

      I don’t, I don’t often refresh. But you absolutely can if you want to

    haha wow i really have been treating my curls horribly! but just wondering, what do you recommend for days in between washing? I usually rinse my hair between washes but i'm thinking that maybe contributes to my frizz. should i use a shower cap instead? i'd love to hear your opinion!

      @MarisasCurls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This video that you commented on is what I would recommend you try in between washes. It’s a refresh for your curls. Yes a shower cap is a good idea

    I have seen this for the first time. When you diffused at the end did you do it upside down or upright? Thanks

    My hair is longer than yours and curly/wavy. Bc I live in a tent, I usually only get a shower a week in the winter. So, I either straighten my hair with a flat iron or try to refresh my curls. Every product that I put in my hair leaves my hair sticky and I hate that! I've used Cantu curl revitilizer or Garnier Fructis curl defining gel. Can u recommend something?? Please??

      Do you mean something to refresh with? I love a dry refresh with either a curl cream like the Noughty Wave Hello Taming Cream (MARISASCURLS25 gets you 25% off their site) or a dry mousse refresh or Treluxe Reflex serum. I have videos on here showing both the dry mousse refresh and the dry refresh with the Treluxe serum

      @@MarisasCurls Yes. Something to refresh my curls. Thank you for getting back to me. A lot of women who I've talked with recommend a mousse product like you have. I just don't want that stickiness in my hair. Thank you so much again for letting me know what you have used & what has worked for you! I'll try anything right about now! 😀

    I typically refresh this way too. I find my hair tends to feel dry and gets kind of stringy afterwards though. Any tips on how to fix this? Am I just using improper products?

      Maybe try the same thing with a tiny bit of curl cream or a lighter hold gel?

      You can do the the rest of the refresh technique without doing the finger coiling part. I don’t always do that bit either. 😊

      Marisa’s Curls we have similar curl pattern and hair texture! For the most part they’ve been cooperating it’s just those darn side bangs and front pieces that tend to want to go wonky on me 😁😁🤪 I’m definitely gonna try that gel I’m using deva light now. Just got the be curly line from aveda (I don’t know if it’s CG or not) but it’s been the best for me so far! Love the video you’re beautiful!
