Excellent. Honest, real advice delivered with obvious passion and emotion. My interview is tomorrow and there couldn't have been a better time to find this video! Thank you.
I just wanted to say that where you feel guilty for not spending as much time with your children, the quality of time spent is more valuable than the quantity of time spent. As well as being a great role model to your children, you will also bring so much to the community too. You're very passionate and I'm glad people like you become teachers to teach our children.
This was so helpful in making preparations for my interview! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experiences and your helpful hints and tips Julie! 💕
so many good points you mentioned that I hadn't thought of, definitely will be incorporating some into my own answers for my interview next week, thank you so much!
@@thescottishhousewife3670 Hi i got the offer from Chichester University conditional of passing the GCSE which really worry me a lot. Thanks for asking Scottish Lady.

Hi there, I've just accepted my place at Aberdeen for my Primary PGDE and feeling very excited! I was wondering if you might be able to share what the timetable is like? I'm going to need to work part time to keep myself financially afloat, and as far as I can tell the placement weeks are monday to thursday full days etc, but I'm not so sure when it's the 3 week blocks of Campus learning, this doesn't seem to be monday to friday 9-5? Love your videos, thanks so much for all your helpful content xxx
That’s WONDERFUL Katie! Well done!!! I’m afraid I can’t answer that anymore because the timetable has changed since I was there :( however I did have a student in my school this year that worked part time, in Glasgow, did her placement in Fife and went to Aberdeen so I know it’s possible xxx
@@thescottishhousewife3670 anymore tips for interview? I have mine on tuesday and I am getting myself stressed out because I want it so badly i'm worried I don't talk about the right stuff... HELP :S haha
Catt Weir honestly, just be yourself, inclusion, social justice are all big things just now, they want to know you can work well with others, take the lead as well as taking instructions so just think of examples of when you’ve done that. Be succinct in your answers. Let your personality shine through xx
What are you thinking, what about it? The challenge of ensure all children are ready to learn? Or differentiation or behaviour management? Either way I’m happy to do a video on it. ❤️❤️
Hi there, I have been offered a place at Aberdeen for my PGDE Primary and found all of your content very helpful. I was wondering if you would be able to send me a reading list you think would be helpful or you were given by the university as I am hoping to read as much as I can over the summer. Thanks xxxx
Amazing!!!! Well done 😍😍😍 I really enjoy all the books by Shirley Clarke/John Hattie. Teaching backwards is good by Andy Griffith and Mark Burns, and the classroom management secret Michael Linsin, Bill Rogers behaviour management but ultimately you will be reading the latest reflective teaching by Andrew pollard...very challenging to read but you’ll base a lot of your research on this and recommended books from this will spider from there. Hope it helps xx
