    Eric is getting really good at showcasing the thought process behind his work, for example making Kirby face the wall "for the viewers", so we can see exactly what he's talking about. Thanks for the video, Kirby and Eric!

    Thank you for quality content Kirby! It's a pleasure to listen to master tailor Eric Jensen as he is able to explain everything in a simple and engaging manner. Looking forward to the next bespoke process.

    The color is spot on! It is a sophisticated and regal color. It reminds me of my Borsalino Beaver Hat that is in charcoal gray with tint of olive green. A complex outfit with formal evergreen design.

      Eric Jenson's JLC reverso watch is a classic. Suits his career as a tailor well - represents NYC with its Art Deco design.

    Great kirby very impressed with the suit already I can't wait to see the next video. This just goes to show the thought and time and effort you personally take for putting all this together for all of us to enjoy and learn.

    I would be interested to eventually see his ironing techniques in terms of using it as a tool for adjustments to how the fabric wears to one’s body. Nice video.

    How is the chalk markings removed when suit is finished?

  • @boblacks945
    @boblacks945 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for a very informative video. I will never look at a suit again the same way I used to in the past. Question: Is there a set length for the suit jack or can this be varied based on the owner's preference the same way that an overcoat can vary in length? My wife and I debate this topic endlessly.

    I had to chuckle when the tailor did not want to say the word "crotch" when discussing the trousers.

    • @Hydelsius
      @Hydelsius 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did find it to be a bit odd. I feel if you're professional enough you can say the word "crotch" without it being weird for anyone.

    Is there ever a time when the first fitting is nearly perfect but you feel the need to make minor adjustments only because you want the clients to experience a complete experience?

      @@showtimebruin7821 I know my tailoring buddy pal..,
      My point was, that the tailor himself had opted for a (more modern) double vent, in spite of a centre vent being ‘more classic’.
      Am I allowed to point that out without Captain Obvious showing up?

    Seems like many adjustments for a suit made off an existing paper pattern...sleeve length and trouser length should be consistent, barring any dramatic changes in Kirby’s body shape..
