The Liberator Penetrator is fine, it's pretty much the standard old AR-23 Liberator (before the last round of buffs) + Medium Pen. It's not an endgame weapon, but for a standard warbond weapon-it serves its' purpose.
Yeah it's completely serviceable. I run it on 7-8 and don't run into too many issues with it. Mainly my aim against overseers but overall a good pick and synergy with multiple support weapons
The scope is why I use it for Illuminate missions. I use other strategems to help me with the heavier units, including the overseers, but the scope lets me hit watchers from a distance and I can help my teammates from a distance if they're getting over-run and not worry about explosive ammo hurting them. And in a clutch I can use it to takeout an overseer, but yeah it's not the best for that.
My standard was the Lib Pen, Med MG, GP and Contact Incen nades. The only thing I've changed is that I use the Adjudicator now. For the other Strats I bring MG Sentry, Gatling Sentry and Rocket Sentry. I can basically solo any engagement at Helldive with that setup.
So, i really love the Liberator Penetrator, my favorite weapon in the game for Illuminate currently is the Tenderizer, but the low recoil of the penetrator, coupled with being able to take out overseers with a few shots to the head, is why in my opinion ot is better than the adjudicator. For the Illuminate. I go back and forth between penetrator snd adjudicator on bugs and use neither on bots. My struggle with the adjudicator on the illuminate is i cant hit my shots, especially on the elevated overseers. I'll burn through multiple mags trying to hit those bastards and that just doesn't feel good. On bugs the adjudicator feels great, even with shreikers, because they come straight at you, flying overseers zip around all over the place. But once ive got a liberator penetrator, or especially a tenderizer in my hands? Oh its over for those jackasses. I agree that on paper, and in practice for some, the adjudcator is better, but if i can't hit my shots, it doesn't matter how much more damage it does, I'd rather hit my shots with less damage, than miss my shots with more damage. But that's just my opinion. Ultimately i use the tenderizer and the scorcher more than anything else anyway, but i wanted to give the penetrator some love and respect for what it is capable of. It's not the absolute best, that would be the scorcher, or crossbow if you have the seige ready armor to fix that god awful reload time, but i know i can always take the penetrator and stack some squid bodies. For Democracy!
It allows him to focus on the objectives better as the reinforcements are behind, trying to catchup. Whereas if you kill all the watchers there's a significantly higher chance of them being called onto your position at the objective which is basically a death sentence.
@yrenren9740 I don't understand. He's doing objectives and lets watchers call in reinforcements when there's only a handful of enemies to fight. There's no point in letting watchers call in reinforcements. There's only a 2 minute cooldown from calling in reinforcements and they fight enemies for way longer than 2 minutes, allowing for even more enemeis to spawn in with no benefit other than just having fun and getting more kills. It's not like because you let a watcher spawn in units you won't get any on the next objective.
I'm also level 39, only started playing a month or so ago, and I don't buy SC. I have 2 additional warbonds unlocked. Me and the boys search high and low for the in-map SC, though.
@ Unless you want to farm SC by spamming difficulty 1-2 missions(good way to get bored of the game) you should try to keep the max difficulty to 5, or 7 if 5 is not engaging enough for you. Unfortunately the higher you go, especially 8+ the map generation changes and many places that would otherwise have containers in lower difficulty(which can spawn SC) are replaced with 'open' rare sample clusters + the denser enemy bases can leave less room in general to spawn the points of interest which can have SC in them. Basically you get noticeable LESS SC in difficulties above 7 so try not to force playing 10 just because its the highest difficulty and gives more XP, when you are above level 20-25 XP is basically useless.
Democratic detonation for sure for nade pistol and xbow but Cutting Edge starts you off with the sickle, the pound for pound best primary. Works on every single faction and can be done without using ammo. You also get the stun grenade which is insane (stuns chargers, hulks, and harvesters). Then you also get the arc blitzer which is an insanely strong primary. Two S tier primaries and S tier grenade.
When you look into the city on the map, look for a perfectly square outline. It’s always a SAM site. Other areas of the map you’ll see building outlines arranged in random formations but the SAM site is always a perfect square
The constant surge of voteless and flying overseers is exactly why the jump pack has become a mist have for the illuminate. The ability to get out of the area quickly is vital.
@@greggreg2458 the arc thrower literally carries. i use the tenderizer for sniping watchers but really it doesnt matter what you use with the thrower because you'll probably only switch to it 2 or 3 times the whole game. basically something to break shields.
The railgun was just stronger prepatch i think, i remember using it on bugs and it could 3 or 4 shot a biles head, and same to take out a chargers leg armor
@@WinterdeathDak i mean, i think that's kind of the point. the liberator and liberator pen are just meant to be basic, standard guns you start the game with/unlock early. they don't need to be amazing or terrible, they just need to able to get the job done until you can unlock premium warbonds.
Mag size is fine just needs 5 more damage. I’ve been using the regular liberator and it gets the job done, if I need armor pen I use the stratagems and support weapons depending on enemy

If you do burst , 180 damage a burst with medium pen and a 45 round clip. Just put medium pen on the tenderizer and I'll stay happy.
BUT I LIKE IT :(
The strafing run is horrible in the streets of the illuminate planets. All my deaths were from the DSS
I use it againts bugs and it goes pretty fine
Yo love the vids but how’d u run so fast

FOV and light armor
Is there a reason you ignore nearly every watcher in your games and let them call in more ships?
Probably for the kill counts. He loves killing in the name of Super Earth

@@aeon5566 If it's something like the SAM site or the monolith then yeah that makes sense, since they're really quick.
man the amount of reinforcements called is crazy lmao. maybe 1 watcher gets a call off in my games
I don't buy warbond with real money, so I got very little SC, only got Steeled Veteran unlocked, what should be next? (lvl39)
Pretty sure its widely accepted that Democratic Detonation is "the one" warbond people should get asap, it has so many good things in it.

How did you see the SAM Site at 8:44?
It has a distinct look on the map
Like a square fence

2 words- arc thrower
@azakatura I've used it across all fronts. It's nice, I just don't personally like it.
@@azakaturaI use the Blitzer for ordes and Laser Cannon/MG 43 for harvester. Also the Blitzer stuns overseers and watchers.

I think its still the same for chargers leg, if you get it to ~90% each time of course
lib pen needs a drum mag and like 5 more damage and thats probably all id use
Ya compared to the tenderizer and other weapons the liberator and lib pen are no use once you unlock something better

Tenderizer is okay. It really shines with Siege Ready but without that the long reload is an offset with the mag size
