Can't even have a nice little family field trip without it bringing up near death experience memories for Stevey! I am just glad he didn't have to video him packing you out after your slip! lol In this select timber gig...Looks to me like leaving some timber to rot and fertilize the ground again for next generation of trees. Would be better for the woods then taking every last stick out. Any thoughts??? Great vidga as always Wade! Spoil them Mommas tomorrow!
I've been working on all tigercat skidders and cutters for several months now.. I'll tell ya, as far as working on them goes, I wouldn't want to touch a deere again. Lol
I know with the farm equipment around here the dealers bring out demo units for them to try out before buying. Does Tiger Cat have such a program? Heck...They should send you every new prototype just to see where the weak points are before manufacturing. Wade will find em. Guaranteed!!
Those bogey skidders are something but they definitely are $$$$ I seen some good prices on logging equipment at auction in British Columbia Canada recently and there was a Tiger Cat bogey there, don’t know what the final price was though.
VideosByAl I have ordered alot of parts out of Ohio over the years (not for a Tiger Cat). But if ordered by 4 p.m. I could have them by 9 a.m. the next morning in Indiana without paying any over night fees. I would just let the drivers work while I slept and saved fuel. It is just a matter of parts being available and in stock. IMO
They had a brand new 635g at ricer's a couple months ago with tracks on front and back it was nice i had to stop and look at it. Said they only wanted 475k for it if I remember right
Those tracks are awsome only wonder how they eould hold up hear New england with all are small pointy rocks i can picture with right ground and carfull operator be awsome but i can pocture them being your biggest regret u ever put on a skider one bent up and jamed up out where no one can get to it.when i worked on power liners running skider bucket the bogie skider would of ben so much better we use to half to watch envirment ruts and damage id spend weeks in spring racking ruts we would always bee in area where the skider is a its top peak of capability where if you push a little farther youll flip always border line and you couldent just flip a skider and roll it back up with a $140,000 70' man lift on back you flip you never work in bisness again you career is ruined in one mistake and it was your call but they would not like if you couldent do it
tghe onley thing ive ever disagreed with u on a dual arch will destroy a single up down or around the hill period i dont know about your terrian but in black mt. in south easrern,ky aka harlan county a single arch grapple capacity isnr enough it doesnt lift its trip high enough in dips and most impt. pujjing up hill u cant lower your top arch to keep weight on front
Logger Wade balanced bogies have an extra set of gears inside the bogie bearing so as you power up a hill for instance the natural tendency is for the bogie to come up. A balanced bogie puts down pressure on the tire to keep contact with ground.
Ahh wade , i love you to much to torture you.😚 They are the norm over here. With the weight of such a machine is imagine it's important to not have them dig into the ground, but then I see the narrow wheel size and climbing tracks and I'm like "WHAAAATTT" ...IM SO CONFUSED..!! I need to book a holidays and you guys need to school me and teach me the way of the American logger.
Yes the bogey bearings do break. But you have to be an abusive operator. I operate a 8 wheel Valmet 860-3 forwarder in plantation thinning. The previous driver used to go flat out over stumps / tops loaded and managed to crack both rear bearing outer runs. After six months of me nursing it and the boss refusing to fix. the left side let go. Had to wait on parts from Sweden two and a half weeks twice because they didn’t send the axel first time. 53 bolts hold the bearing on and they are locktighted in.
I'll dig up a picture of a broken bogie. Loggers will brake anything 😃. Timberpro is built about 25 miles from me.
Michael J Berg got ya!!! Have you ever met pat Crawford
Logger Wade Yes I have!
I can tell you I'm going to have to take a road trip to see you and that coton top guy!
Michael J Berg oh yeh!!!
If it lasts a logger a month it will last the normal guy a lifetime! Lol
Now Wade, you're not supposed to covet thy neighbors equipment! 😁
Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
Ken Gamble haha
Wade I really enjoyed listening to you an poopy pants talking logging. If u can it would be awesome to hear more.
Those tracks wear well. Used a lot in this area on wagons. And your guess is right Wade, adjustment is just pull a bar out as needed.
They wear more when used dry for steep ground. Used them a lot on OSA, TBM and Logset forwarders in the UK the make I used was Clark made in Scotland.
Great video Wade thanks for sharing have a great day
cool vidja they have some nice equipment nice seeing the different styles keep up the good work
excellent really enjoyed it.
Cool video Mr Wade. I think you guys should run right out and buy one of those Bogey skidders.
All your videos are great. I like them. This one? I really liked the logging conversation between you and Stevey. Thanks.
I'm amazed how small the bogies on the timberpro are .... for such a big machine😮😮😮
It’s a wonder Stevey’s unordinary arms didn’t bend those knives.
They got some nice equipment setting there. Stumpjumper uses the bar style setup on his skidders

Awesome vidja Wade. When you have that much equipment you have to keep it moving and fast. Later
Hey tater, Steveyy in Tiger Cat heaven
I didn't know anyone was running forwarders in the US.
I really like those tracked, intermittent feller-bunchers, but I bet I wouldn't like the price!

Josh Welner I’m a peeping tater and he’s a peeping poopy pants
Logger Wade sorry thanks for clarifying that 👍👍
I've been working on all tigercat skidders and cutters for several months now.. I'll tell ya, as far as working on them goes, I wouldn't want to touch a deere again. Lol
no1wrench boys that’s what they have always looked like to me
I know with the farm equipment around here the dealers bring out demo units for them to try out before buying. Does Tiger Cat have such a program? Heck...They should send you every new prototype just to see where the weak points are before manufacturing. Wade will find em. Guaranteed!!
So how many times did steve get off in his pants over all them tiger cats!!!???? 😂
Those bogey skidders are something but they definitely are $$$$ I seen some good prices on logging equipment at auction in British Columbia Canada recently and there was a Tiger Cat bogey there, don’t know what the final price was though.
Yes those tracks do get loose then the tires spin inside of em and u can't go no where
i bet you have a head full of ideas from this tour...
🇦🇺. Thanks for sharing ⛓⚙️
Also you need to talk to PA and see what he thinks of them eco tracks, he has them on the back of his one skidder
they make different size links for the side tags !
Buy em all
Is believe cotontop's new skidder is a 630e
Great tour. But what about Dealer Support ? Ohio is quite a drive.
VideosByAl I have ordered alot of parts out of Ohio over the years (not for a Tiger Cat). That is good information. I’m sure Wade will keep that in mind.
Why was Stevey wearing ear plugs when there was no machines working except for you talking there Logger Wade?
barry hansen Well....Wade has been known to get excited and become a tad loud! lol Safety First! 😀
barry hansen Stevey doesn't like to hear all the song birds out in the woods😉
Stevey don’t wanna hear the truth...
"dog pecker gnats" LOL
They had a brand new 635g at ricer's a couple months ago with tracks on front and back it was nice i had to stop and look at it. Said they only wanted 475k for it if I remember right
Bigal20 pocket change for a logger they're rich just like commercial fisherman hahaha 😵😵😵the price of stuff is unbelievable for all
Oh man ima tellin ya
And cottontop has a 635 6x6 and a 630 4x4
There you got tater! There is your next set of tracts for the dindin! LMAO tailing about slinging muddy rooster tails! LMFAO be safe
Very nice EQUIPMENT! 💪 what's the grapple width when open on that 625c skidder?
no turtles were harmed during this video.😀😀
And just to let you know just from the design of that 830 buncher it is bran new ( with emichions 😁😠)
Hey tater question for you?? Do you guy have to run a log book or do you guys fall under the 100 miles from home rule???
Chad Isett yeah no log book here but we run into situations with the mulch haul
Someone actually runs a forwarder around here
I think cottontops new skidder is a 630
Those tracks are awsome only wonder how they eould hold up hear New england with all are small pointy rocks i can picture with right ground and carfull operator be awsome but i can pocture them being your biggest regret u ever put on a skider one bent up and jamed up out where no one can get to it.when i worked on power liners running skider bucket the bogie skider would of ben so much better we use to half to watch envirment ruts and damage id spend weeks in spring racking ruts we would always bee in area where the skider is a its top peak of capability where if you push a little farther youll flip always border line and you couldent just flip a skider and roll it back up with a $140,000 70' man lift on back you flip you never work in bisness again you career is ruined in one mistake and it was your call but they would not like if you couldent do it
He has a 635d and a 630e
Better cut alot of logs to pay for that much equipment
Those delimber blades ain't cheap. Their like 700 bucks each
Hey going to Richmond logging show this coming weekend
James Ashley no gotta pass this year
tghe onley thing ive ever disagreed with u on a dual arch will destroy a single up down or around the hill period i dont know about your terrian but in black mt. in south easrern,ky aka harlan county a single arch grapple capacity isnr enough it doesnt lift its trip high enough in dips and most impt. pujjing up hill u cant lower your top arch to keep weight on front
Just to let you know tigercat doesn't make the 625 anymore, but they do still make a 615 and 635 both 6x6
They started making the 625 again
Daniel Atkinson when?
My local dealer has a new 2018 625E listed on their website that they just got. It has 30.5 32’s on front and 28 on the rear.
Carl williams cool thanks, why is it not on their website tho
Are they balanced or unbalanced bogies
david cuddy I’ll play your silly games... are they balanced?? Lol
Usually not balanced. Deere has that option as does Ponsse etc. Expensive option.
Logger Wade balanced bogies have an extra set of gears inside the bogie bearing so as you power up a hill for instance the natural tendency is for the bogie to come up. A balanced bogie puts down pressure on the tire to keep contact with ground.
Michael J Berg oh I see I was figuring he was tormenting me he has a history of that sorta thing
Ahh wade , i love you to much to torture you.😚
They are the norm over here. With the weight of such a machine is imagine it's important to not have them dig into the ground, but then I see the narrow wheel size and climbing tracks and I'm like "WHAAAATTT" ...IM SO CONFUSED..!!
