I've never ran a track cutter, it's nice to see and have someone explain how cutting with it is done. Thank you for a clear explanation of the differences in the saw heads and the operation. I wish other loggers would be or act as professional around here as you all are there!! Great vidja tater, thank you and God Bless!!!
@@LoggerWade I'm just calling it like I see it. I've been in the woods for 5 or 6 years now and around here it doesn't work like that around here sometimes. Be safe and I'm waiting on the next vidja!! Thank ya!!
Its nice to see others logging. Don't knock the way you guys work. Budgets dictate how you go about it. Keep up all the hard work and great videos. Thanks wade stay safe
Man I could listen to that Tigercat 610 exhaust note all day! She's got some pep in her step too. Love watching these machines go to work. Thanks for the vidya Wade.
Very good video, I have a 1997 timbco 425 with a fixed head it does very good. Someday it would be nice to get a newer one with 360 head. Sometimes easy to buy harder to pay back. 👍 video fun to watch and learn something.
A interment head seems like a more all purpose head. That would suit a guy well that could only afford to buy one. To be able to fell and process is what peaked my interest the most.
Higher caliper machine means higher costs. Don’t underestimate your operation Wade. It unfortunately all boils down to what the “ wallet spider” says you can afford. Bigger, more expensive equipment isn’t always better for everyone. Great vidjo Wade. Stay safe and thanks
Huh man we had fallers , brush stackers ,choker setters, cat operators pulling logs out and our loader operator on the landing loading trucks. If we had that stuff I could have come home and went dancing after work (LOL)
Have to spend it to make it now if we just had it to spend we could make it it lol 😂 I know what I need to make it... I'm just not there yet 😭 Great video 👍 👍👍
you know if you look around a bit for the older tigercat stuff you may find so that does not cost you an arm and lag and even some good tigercat skidders and hell bet you could even try to test them out for a little to see how you like them
Would it be fair to say Brutus is a smaller machine and used. I believe a 830 is more a 859M size. But it's always cool to see how much different and the same different guys do the same job as you.
I like how you keep saying I gotta go.... like 4x but you keep filming... I do the same.. up here at a site I'm working on there is a new Coal Mine that just started up and every morning I drive about 5 miles out of my way just to rubber neck and snoop.. I can't help it must be a mental illness!
If loggers would start in the back of the track of timber and cut from the back to the front they would be running all over stumps and tree tops all the time
I don’t think I’d have patience to Ron a intermittent head but I’m in a whole different ball game skidding full tree out to a limber. I could see where the intermittent would be good cutting big hardwood processing in the woods. But man that’s slow cutting off the stump lol
You ever watched that guy WoolBottom3 operate a Tigercat? He is CottonTop3's brother. What happened to Whitie with the coolant issue? Head gasket? Cylinder liner drop? Pitting #5/#6 liners?
I see things I could do diff too make things faster but with two bucnhers no skidder shouldn’t be waiting they got too keep the wood moving Other then that good looking machine I told u awhile back that tigercat had a lot power and play with big trees
Wade what's the comparison between this operation too your are they just loggers supplying mills or do they have their own mill, as then two different operation as you are supplying to your own mill ?
i had a 2900 hundred my 3550 ryans will dust er buddy , plus when you rebuild that quadco you better get your wallet out ! that wheel is expensive to rebuild i know i done it a few times !
You got logging fever bad. Reminds me of a man who went to the doctor and the doctor told him he didn't have much time left but he could give him a brain transplant and it just so happens he has two of them , he says the one is a couple hundred bucks and the other one tho was ten grand! So the patient says why so much difference? The doc tells him that the cheap one was from a lawyer and the high priced one was a logger. Hu? says the patient says why the difference and the doc says lawyers lie so much that their brain is wore out but the logger is pristeen cause its never been used!/LOL. If they only knew what a logger went through in one day... if they only knew what a logger that is good at his trade went through they would have their own football team an win the super bowl.
All new equipment would still be good if they'll come out with delete kits like for trucks. Def is the stupidest government forced bullshit I've seen in a long time. Great vidja and tiger cat is some nice stuff
Its really odd that because of all that t4 crap our engines are burning twice as much fuel. I'm sure that's just a oversight though. I mean they would know that the emissions from production of twice as much fuel wouldn't do twice the harm now would they lol. It's all a huge scam
It's like driving I always keep my lights on I just feel better that way I get slightly nervous if I gotta run with em off to dodge dot if I got a marker light out lol
As much as I like these big machines I still don't think you can beat a skilled man on a chainsaw (only my opinion) but something about having to study where it will fall. Great video. Regards to the family. Best wishes from across the pond
Hope Ricer takes care of these boys better than they did me Terrible service and Lyle is full of s!!t Been logging 34 years worst service that I have ever experienced tell him to come to south central ky and put his money where his mouth is
Ran intermitting , was nice if your cutting logs all the time , was slow cutting pulpwood , hot saw would blow it away . definitely nicer cutting log trees though
Nice job on the vidja there cameraman!👍 Awful impressive outfit...Does the intermittent head weight alot more? That machine seemed to tip a bit more or was it just the slope he was working? Sure beats spending the day in a stuffy house, choking down eggnog!😀

Yeah they sound pretty good
I agree with stump Jumper Ryan's head. David Haleys Timbco does a good job too it doesn't look like it marks its spot like brutus does either

I like how the tiger cat skidder controls spin around so you can run backwards just as fast.
Dangerous work nice to watch these guys . Safe , Smart & Efficient in what they do ! Good Show !
Hey logger Wade, your crew does a great job with Brutus, Titus and din-din. Keep up the great work driver !!

Tim-ber. Ain't that the truth.
One of the best videos yet
Big kids playground with really big tonka toys . It's freaking awesome
With the right banker you could have any equipment you want.
Man that was an impressive operation!!Hope to see you guys like that some day.
It's nice to see a video missed watching you and what you were doing
His cutting head is much less awkward to use than Brutus's it looks like to me. But Im just an old truck driver. 10-4 ? Todd the retired trucker
It does you good to see something like that. Thanks man
Have to spend it to make it now if we just had it to spend we could make it it lol 😂 I know what I need to make it... I'm just not there yet 😭

That intermittent head is awesome because of the versatility. You can do basically what the din din does PLUS cut down trees!

Wow what an outfit!! Those guys have it figured out
I was watching David Harley and someone brought you up, so I looked you up. Just got done watching first vid, and it was logger wad looses it...lol.
Lol thanks buddy
Surprised they would have two machines working so close to each other.
Wade sounds like you have a secret machine crush on tigercat!🤔 don't worry your secret safe with me..I wont tell deere or brutus🤐😂😂😂

When you say "Hot Saw", does that saw not stop or something? Or is it the in and out movement of the other saw?
Thanks for the video Mr. Wade!
Yup exactly

Gotta love those tiger cats they’re made one town over from me
I would say that Etienne's will be moving into some tigercats in the future, you just watch. Might be a few years but it'll happen
its been neat seeing them grow both as operators and as a company, been watching since they bought the green JD skidder
Good equipment and operator’s 👍👌

Yes another solid long term company

put a ryans head on din-din you give em a good run for the money for third the price buddy !
I almost fully agree, but I feel the tigercat,or southstar directional felling head would give you better range
