Dude, that was a great vid! Really gives an idea of what to look forward to in a few months. Did the 21-mile ride back in 2017, and felt it wasn't a long enough ride, but the 66-miler will be a real challenge for me.

Thanks Gabe! Yeah the weather was just about perfect for the ride for sure. The next video will be of the triathlon. Unfortunately I won't get any of the race itself from my point of view, because I'm not allowed to bring a camera with me anywhere on the race route. (USAT rules) but my friend who's doing the race with me, his wife will have my camera and she'll be filming clips of us doing the race. I will get before and after clips though myself.
Excellent footage my friend and congratulations on completing the ride ! We where in that area over the summer and really enjoyed it . Thought about renting a bike and doing some miles , but the wife talked me out of it . Anyway , how was the wind once you left Aransas and headed toward Padre Island ? Would like to do this ride hopefully next year .
Thank you my friend I appreciate it! The wind was a non issue for the entire route which is unusual because the wind is usually pretty consistent on the Coast. Considering the storm the night before and the predicted rain for the day of the ride. The weather ended up being almost perfect!
Unfortunately no not this year. I'm doing Cyclefest in Fort Davis out in West Texas. I would do C the C, but Cyclefest is the same weekend in September and I've been wanting to do this ride for a while. So it's Cyclefest this year.

Crazy storm, we got a few showers but nothing like that.
Man it came in like a freight train! Fortunately it passed pretty quick and the weather was perfect the next day! It was a good ride!
