  • I like to show my subscribers the different extremes sides to Malta, This video really shows you from the run down Albert town With heaps of history ( various reports, says it’s a place to best stay away from ) to the equally historic Valletta Waterfront so really its a tour of run down to the plush tourist side and a local breakfast in between ,

7:17. The grey building is the back of GO. I used to work there and my office faced the harbour. The tug boats all have different names and I remember hearing (in Maltese) ' Come on Rita, you're too slow', 'Hey Mary, move over a bit' etc.

    • @EnglishmaninMalta

This is great that you show all the sides of Malta good and bad. Wow that's a hearty breakfast at 19:08.

Love these walks Steve as give new ideas of places of interest for us regular visitors. I took a trip out to Smart City after watching your video last time was over. Then walked back to the 3 Cities which wasnt that far. Might try exploring that northerly area again and walk the other way to Marsaskala. Just to see a different side to the island. Keep them coming and thanks a lot Steve as always for your amazing content.

Those gigantic cruise ships are a disaster. They dump thousands of their voluntary prisoners on places like Valletta and ruin the street life of the whole town, where most of the swarm spend. absolutely nothing, before going back on board for their all-in prepaid next meal.
