I'm a 48 year old empty nester, and I have recently come back to my goth self. I dressed and decorated in a way I've sensed wasn't really right for me for so many, many years, but after I wore my Halloween dress this year, it really hit me hard to realize that I lost myself trying to chase after so-called success. I never felt comfortable until I reconnected with my goth girl self, and now, I'm changing my wardrobe and home decor to fit who I really feel I am inside. I have a huge pile of clothing I'm planning to dye black, and I will be painting my furniture black, too. I also unapologetically love pink. I have most of the Pfaltzgraff tea rose dishes, and I will never give them away until I die and pass them on to my daughter. If she doesn't want them, that's ok. She can sell them or give them away if she wants, and I wouldn't mind at all if she told me that, but I love them and am trying to incorporate them into my home decor scheme. Your tour inspired me so much to be true to myself and my long forgotten true, dark self, and I appreciate you showing your beautiful home. Thank you. 🖤🐈⬛🐦⬛👻

Nick Lewen Bruh I don’t know what you’re on about but Mr. Owl is someone she was with years ago. She left him only because she wanted to explore more places in the world. She then got married to Mattias (correct me on the name if i’m wrong pls I forgot), but the relationship didn’t work out.
As of now she has reconnected with Mr. Owl and they are now engaged. Their spark never died and they truly love each other 💜.
I LOVE interior design! Especially elegant, ornate, old world styles. Your dark, magickal, macabre style interpretation makes it all the more interesting to behold. DIYs & home decor/makeover vids are a fave. Would love to see a video series of you taking on your new place from scratch.

I am a blacksmith in training and I'm aiming to specialize partly in decorative ironwork so it's interesting to see how you have thought of the aesthetic design of your home. I like to mix a 1300's gothic style with a modern touch. Im inspired in a way by your enthusiasm.

Your apartment isn’t “a bit silly”!! You put a ton of work into it, and it’s very clear!!! It’s all very lovely, and your collections are all really impressive!!! Your apartment is super cool, and I’m sure your new home will be just as amazing!!!
It has the same vibe, she's still in the scene and very heavily Gothic, so why not? I know some people may call this silly, but it's not. Now, to try and do modern rustic, old band posters, AND this at the same time would have it come across as silly and very early 20's "first apartment." Many Goths do go this hard in their homes to keep it all the same theme, at least, and they pull it off very well, because while it is all black, red, and ancient looking, it's just that- ANCIENT looking, so it's all cohesive. I love her place!
Would love to see black Friday and aurelio voltage do a series called "Goth My Pad"...bet loads of people would love to have them goth up their living spaces.

I actualy did bought some stuff i knew i realy wanted, before i had a house, then it was realy nice to just pick and place everything i had in the house, even if it wasn't much at the time it just gave an entire new comfort look and i did not had to rush into anything. :)

@@sheiladelong7112 Trust me, You will always find lot more stuff then You will ever hawe room for anyway, so no need to worry if you hawen't, just enjoy the free space while You can... ha ha. It was just that i allredy rented a flat i could temporary use most of my stuff in that time, i took me many years until i found a afordable house i liked anyway. I hawe changed a lot of what i had when i moved in ower the years anyway when i stumble upon something i like more. :)

Things I Love about This Half of the Tour: the Japanese Hello, Kitty in the bathroom, the fact that, despite so much else being painted, is still its original brown cheap wood color with stickers that evokes a teenager lives here (aren't we all teens inside tho?), and that you have the courage to display all your things, esp the hanging pieces of jewelry, despite living with *two* cats!!! My pair are all over the place! They often nearly knock knick-knacks (how do you like that alliteration?) down during the night. I often dream of hanging beads in the doorways like I used to...and then I remember: I have Cats!!! :/
I would live there in a heart beat! Moving physically, emotionally, and financially sucks, but it's always a new start in some way. I hope yours brings some happiness to your life!!

Lighting is a problem in the front room with all that black but Victorian problems with that were common given poor lighting.

I have recently got my mits on an old 70's apartment that's been renovated. They painted it grey which I'm very happy about and there is charcoal coloured carpet in the bedrooms. The bathroom tiles are greyscale. The only problem is that I can't do ANY modifications to the place haha. Good ol' Australian real estate. I'll just have to get creative on how to put up my artwork 🤷🏻♀️
