SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!!! I was too young to see Pat and Neil during the 80's but when I finally got to see them in Brooklyn NY back in 2009, lemme tell ya, it was fate. I was in the front row, and they did not lose a step. My ears were ringing for a week after, because front row means you're closer to the speakers. But it's Pat and Neil. They're worth losing my hearing over LOL
Agreed. He's not Page, Gilmore, or EVH. But he was and is innovative, unique, novel, and versatile. Like a mix between Lifeson and Lukather & maybe Chaquico. Hard to classify. His style isn't immediately identifiable like Santana, he's kindofa chameleon like Lukather. But that's it, he just kept growing and can play most anything, while being uniquely HIM for 40+ years. Breaking out with Rick Derringer, Def no slouch. This is a pretty late reply, but as a guitarist, who learned to play Hit me with your best shot, by ear, at 16 in 1980, you are Impressively appreciative and 100% Spot On. Even Neil's easier sounding compositions & parts are a challenge to play. Definitely unsung by all but those who have a sharp ear & know, like you. Hope you see this. 👀 Rock On 🎸 🎶 🤘

This song is about old school users & players. That, today, is the females. So, today, many men, have embraced MGTOW. PAT has been MARRIED 47 years. 7 years from 19, then over 40 years together with Neil, and raised 2 daughters. In their industry, 40 years is UNHEARD OF. It's exceedingly rare even in any, easier, "normal life" marriage. They went from playing Stadiums, and Grammys, to playing County fairs or free shows. Feast to famine and back again, and they kept a marriage together. A love, partnership and friendship. Today's women. 15 to 50, could learn a LOT from Pat, and Neil. Commitment, longevity, hard work, devotion, and Don't Quit. Today most women are the opposite. Gimme gimme gimme, entertain me, and no commitment. They don't even know what a real relationship is. They turned the average guy into cucks or players, because they became self absorbed overweight shrews & used up players, or tic toc & only fans bimbos. "Be careful what you wish for", they did it to themselves. Now they cry to BFF's like you. Be a real man instead. And teach them to seek and value a real man, while being a real LADY.

The first time I heard this song was from a random karaoke contest. I had no idea what song it was. Hearing it on midi file, I actually it was metal because of its riff. The studio version wasn't that hard but damn this one is!
