    I will show you the whole process of the different layers of colours that I apply, from the underpainting to detailing ot the final layer. You will get lots of information hearing me explaining what I do while you see me painting, always seeing the colour palette that I`m using, too!
    In no time you will be able to paint like that.

    Water mixable oil paint.
    Do you prefer these over traditional oil paint.
    Really fantastic job here.
    Glad I found your channel

      Yes, I prefer them - traditional oils require harsh mediums for thinning (white spirit, turpentine, etc. all of them are carcinogenic) wate mixable oils don`t need that, just take some water and you`re good to go :-))) Although I prefer to play around with the colours a bit longer so I mainly use linseed oil for thinning down the colours which extends the time to dry - so I actually I`m not really in need of water mixable oils. But it is good to know that I could use water if I want to :-)))

      I'm a pianist and musicologist.. so I do understand deeply the beauty and the importance of colours. 🌈🌈🌈

      @@vittoriomarano8230 Great :-))) I also tried to learn piano, the violin and the flute decades ago before I started to paint - but I failed miserably although I LOVE music. It`s actually a very important part of my daily life...but I am better at wielding brushes than the bow of a violin ;-)))

    Did you use a black gesso for the background? Can you tell us what colors you mixed for what? Thank you!! It’s a gorgeous painting!! Thank you!

    • @brennerfineart
      @brennerfineart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you :-))) I used a mixture of lamp black, phthalo blue and a hint of titanium white for the black"ish" underpainting. The swan is a mixture of titanium white, lemon yellow, phthalo blue, cadmium red, raw siena and lamp black.
