Thanks a lot :-)))) Yes...I completely agree...been nearly two years since I`ve been the last time at a beach...(the lakes here in Germany do not count)...hopefully we will go back soon to normal again, I want to be back there...anywhere at a warm sea ;-)))
Thank you :-))) Yes, it`s often not straight forward applying the paint, it`s a process you have to think about BEFORE you start to the painting process. But that makes it even more interesting :-)))

Amazing as all your videos are. Thankyou for sharing these i am learning a lot from them even though I use acrylics not oils. I find blending the biggest problem with them .
Thank you so much Lynn :-))) Yes...the "blending-problem" was for me the number one reason to switch to oils. And believe me, oils make life as a painter SOOO much easier. Give them a try, you will definitely not regret it! But make sure you get water mixable oils...so that you can avoid the harsh und very unhealthy mediums that you need for traditional oil painting.
Hi Oleg, I mostly use purified linseed oil. But only when I glaze in very thin layers I use a lot of it. Mostly I ust put in a little bit to get in a little bit better flow. But the colours are mostly just a little bit thinner than straight out of the tube.
Hi Jessica, I usually offer the reference photo only on my patreon for the acccording full time tutorial - but if you let me know your email adress I can send it to you (of course for free), no problem :-)))
simply wonderful ! Fantastical effect. Many thanks. I am not a specialist in acrylic painting, i practice aquarell and gouach maters. But i do ask myself : why not to try this technic ? What's your think about it ?
Thanks a lot :-))) This was painted with water mixable oils - so a whole lot different from what I would do if I would have to paint it with acrylics. I am not sure how it will look with aquarell and or gouach, I have absolutely zero experience with this kind of medium unfortunately.
