Black makes more sense for wrap, but it's not free.

@@yrsofpain Because I'm buying used and it's not really more expensive. Anyway, it's not even much more if you buy new and the door jams and other recesses will look better.
Back here in The Netherlands you can choose black and white for free. I went with white, because after my lost black car i never wanted a black car again. Literally everything shows on it. Every tiny scratch is very visible in the sun. It looks great in black on the first day you own it, after that it goes downhill Where all colors free, i would choose red i think.

Worth noting the model s/x red is different from the model 3/y. One if solar red i believe thats on the sx and then the red for 3/y is a different red color. Also now midnight silver is the included free option, so midnight silver then wrap would be the move.
You are showing only the ultra red for plaid S from Giga Berlin. How about the 3 and Y?
For those of us who still want to spend our hard earned money on energy and not vanity, any colour that is the least expensive is a go. In 4 years you will be hating the color of your car. Dirt shows on all of them. Clean it . period. With time all colours will fade specially black.
Wish Tesla would bring quicksliver to the US. The midnight silver looks to grey to me.

I am confused between white and red. I live in warmer climate.
Does red really makes sense to pay the extra buck?
Or I should accommodate with the white version.
Either color is fine in a warmer climate. Red isn’t as bad as the Black but it would not be as cool in the cabin as white.
With that, Teslas has AC and No AC(fan only) cabin cooling that occurs automatically. So if you like the red the best go with that color!
I went with the red because it's sporty and I don't see it as much as the white. Those two colors are the best lookers. I like the blue also.
The white looks the best because of the white and black contrast, if makes the car look smaller/sportier. The black and gray look too fat because of the lack of contrast. If the car had chrome, i would the say the opposite

Would be great to see an actual heat test comparison. Maybe since the roof is glass, there isn't as much difference between the colors ?
I wish I had access to their whole line up to do some serious testing, but I could possibly get a white one to test compared with my silver.

White on white doesn’t make Tesla more luxurious it makes it like the majority of teslas too bright and unpractical.
White is now extra $1000 due to people complaining. Midnight silver is free now 😅

Other than the lack of quality control on the body fitment problems, the color choices of the interior and exterior are awful for a Tesla. Oh I forgot the rattles.
Rattles are scary 😦 None yet though! 4 months in and a November build date!!
I agree the colors are lacking especially when you consider other manufacturers colors such as Porsche.
