As a voice coach and songwriter you should definitely react to the singer Floor Jansen with the band Nightwish at the 2013 metal festival at Wacken. The song Ghost Love Score gives a great sampling of her range , styles, and power of her singing. And, 95% of their music is written and composed by the keyboardist. Prepare for a wild rabbit hole ride. They are a very skillful group who play for the music not to stand out. They were playing live before a crowd of 82 thousand. They are best live.
Ahh yes. The never ending saga of souls stolen by the great Tati and hung on the wall in her very large trophy room where she sits and smiles softly while sipping her morning coffee.
And IMO one the best drummers currently playing with any band (Phil Collins & Jason Bonham not withstanding). Vlad is an extraordinary musician, watch & hear him on Mediator (Jinjer, live drum playthrough, at Szene)!
The second song overwhelmingly chosen by reactors is Perennial live at Wacken. It showcases her ability to switch back and forth in a live setting with a special surprise near the very end for vocal specialists...
Yeah - I wish people would find a better example though. Don't get me wrong - that is a great performance, but it is the last song of their set and she is gassed. IMO Who is Gonna be the One - Napalm Records is a better video because it is the first song of their set and she is hyped! But there are a ton of live video of Jinger now. Perennial at Wacken is good, but in my opinion, she has actually gotten much better at her vocal control since then.
They are both great songs but Perennial, like Pisces, is a great introduction for non-metalheads. Once they are hooked, there are many, many great songs
@tattoodude8946 I think she's clearly out of breath while speaking but her vocals are still flawless in spite of it says how talented she is. Her breath control is amazing and she can switch between harsh and cleans effortlessly all day.
Have you guys ever checked out Nightwish? Excellent band with an amazing vocalist. If you haven't, I would recommend starting with their song "Ghost Love Score" live at Wacken. It's absolutely amazing. Great reaction and analysis of Jinjer! My recommendation for the next song by them would be "Perennial" live at Wacken. You'll get to hear her switch "in real time." 😊
Tati goes a lot lower in several songs. There are parts in Vortex, Home Back, Pit Of Consciousness Live in Kiev and Who is Gonna Be The One Live for starters that she goes super low.
She also performs a vey nice high scream in Pit of Consciousness Live in Kiev, so it's an excellent showcase of her harsh vocal capabilities. It's also a very interesting song musically, but much heavier than Pisces.
Pit of Consciousness is one of my favorite songs. Her scream range is showcased well, but the whole band kills that song. Vlad's fills are so inventive and on point for all of their songs, but I just love the one at the end of Pit.
Fun fact: This video was put out to showcase the new drummer Vlad. It just so happens to be most people's introduction to Tatiana. The entire band is so skilled. It took a decade, and literally every position changing at some point.
Remember Pisces represents a duality. Just like Tatiana's vocals. She is a vocal beauty and beast. Very talented band. Every song is different, and get even better once you understand the meaning behind the lyrics. Definitely check out Perennial live at Wacken and Teacher Teacher official video.Fantastic song. Tatiana's vocal translations are seamless and mindboggling. So captivating. I also suggest Judgement and Punishment Tatiana's one take vocal performance version.
Another commenter mentioned Floor Jansen and the Symphonic Metal Nightwish. Shes one of the very best voices in metal by her peers. Shes insane. She can even do harsh vocals like Tatiana. THe song to check out is Ghost Love SCore live at Wacken 2013. Its a roller coaster that the both of you will absolutely love. She band and her are nutz.
I have the uttermost Respect for Floor.....But i have nerver heard she can do Harsh Vocal like Tatiana...she can Growl... but it's like saying, tatian can sing Clear tones, so she can sing like Floor
Thank you for all of the comments and suggestions!! We have a ton of songs on our to-do list but just wanted you to know that we WILL be circling back to react to another Jinjer song!! Thank you all for your patience - we’re excited to hear more :)
The story in the lyrics is an important part of the songs vocal choices. _I had no idea how 'tragically brutal' the story was until I read the lyrics in detail...the ending, just wow._
Glad to see another few have been snatched by Jinger! As vocal guys, I'm super surprised to not see any Nightwish, unless I missed it! I think yall will love them too, especially with vocal analysis. Nightwish Ghost Love Score Live from Wacken 2013 is my suggestion to start. The Nightwish Army can guide you from there! Sending blessings from Alabama!
Teacher, Teacher is my personal favorite but Vortex, Pit of Consciousness liver in Kiev, I Speak Astronomy....all great. You have a nice format, music and vocals covered.
And now think about a Woman who can do some deep growls, like Tatiana in this Video, and also can sing a Puccini Aria. Impossible? No, her Name is Floor Jansen, Leadsinger of the finnish Symphonic Metal Band Nightwish. You really should do a Reaction of Nightwish - Ghost Love Score, Live at Wacken 2013. Greetings from Germany. And of course i love Jinjer and Tatiana. 😃🍺
Paraphrasing here "The contrast between her clean singing and her growls is... exquisite." Indeed. It's the, to use your term, dichotomy that grabs me.
Excellent reaction guys! I'm new to your channel, but not to Jinjer, or to Jinjer reaction videos. Instant sub and like. I like your discernment. Good combo of vocal understanding/appreciation and compositional knowledge. And that's all put to good use with Jinjer! More Jinjer please! You can't go wrong anywhere you turn. They're just all good. I'm a pro musician and singer for 45+ years, and these guys excite me like few bands have. Their sound is amazing. Their musicianship is off the charts. Their tightness and cohesion is almost superhuman, like a flock of birds all changing direction at once. Their live passion and precision are legendary and thrilling. Their professionalism is impeccable. They blend multiple genres. And they're unpredictable; there's a surprise in almost every song, like old school breakfast cereals lol. The songwriting is captivating. Great reaction fodder. Jinjer is both a fine wine and a gateway drug. I never enjoyed harsh vocals until Tatiana. She's stoked an appetite for more, and I've discovered a whole world of amazing bands. Maybe none quite as great as Jinjer, but nonetheless excellent. I've found a special affinity with women who can both sing and scream beautifully. Spiritbox, Arch Enemy, Ankor, Future Palace, Vintersea, Infected Rain, Hanabie, Lutharo, Rage of Light, and many others. And my new favorite: IKINÄ from Finland, featuring not one but TWO killer badass female singer/screamers in Katariina and Tuuli. They can do it all in perfect harmony, and they front an amazing band. Check out their video for Rituaali--but it's just the tip of the iceberg. The latest album is heavy, dark and djenty ala Spiritbox's latest (though it came out earlier) but all three albums are packed with banger after banger.
First time watching your channel, liked and subscribed. Please do more Jinjer. Now that you got the "shock value" song out of the way, you can discover how great this band really is. They have a deep catalog of incredible songs to dive into. Only 4 albums and 2 EPs, but considering just about every song on every album is very good, it's a pretty deep rabbit hole to explore. You wont be disappointed!
Check out “Judgement and Punishment” next. Also, I am surprised you have not reacted to Nightwish yet, “Ghost Love Score” live at Wacken Open Air 2013.
This song brought me to your channel. I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction and now I’m off to check out more of your videos! Perhaps you’ll get a new subscriber! Great reaction, guys!
In "who is gonna be the One - Live" she goes way lower... and it is a great track too. "pit of consciousness (live in kiev) " is amazing too.... and many more.
More Jinjer! Perennial live at Wacken, Judgement & Punishment one take vocal, Wallflower, Vortex, Disclosure, Teacher Teacher, Call Me A Symbol. Two good rip your face off tracks…Sit Stay Rollover and Mediator
They made this video to highlight the drummer and it went crazy - it is the one everyone wants reactors to watch first when entering the Jinjer rabbit hole
Welcome to the Jinjer Army my friend! They are Jinjer, she is Tatiana. They're all amazing at their instruments, including Tati, whose voice is an incredible instrument in its own right. I hope you check out more Jinjer. You won't be disappointed. And if you're like me, they'll quickly become one of, if not your favorite band. They're that good! Enjoy!
Hey guys, great reaction! Jinjer was the first group that made me not hate growling... and Tati being able to perform both ways of singing was something that I hadn't heard before! After going down that rabbit hole, my next one was Nightwish! And that is what I'd like to suggest to you... the song Ghost Love Score performed at Wacken 2013. So you get to experience Symphonic Metal and Floor Jansen at the forefront, who IMO is one of the most versatile and best singers in the world! 🤘🤘
Want some more with both cleans and uncleans you might like (much more fun that usual metal :D of course you might know some of these already) All female vocalists, mostly all female bands, 3 out of 5. Hanabie - We Love Sweets MV Nemophila - Ama Te Ras Broken By The Scream -Sayonara Birthday Gacharic Spin - I WIsh I MV Passcode - Groundswell
@taihavard549 I only recognize the name Nemophila but I've never listened to them. There alot of amazing woman that can do amazing clean and harsh. Alissa White Gluz of Arch Enemy, Melissa Bonney of Ad Adfinium. That's just for starters.
@@paulriddle7818 Yup Have been enjoying the women who can do uncleans more than the guys recently. For instance I have usually found Metalcore a bit love hate because I loved the energy and uncleans, but often found the male clean vocal styles in that genre a bit... moany. But a mix of great uncleans and cleans that are more to my taste, plus many of the bands being all female leading to quite different lyrics and energy (up beat, fun) has been grabbing me. All of those are worth checking out, I bet at least a few might hit for you. Arch Enemy are great, and Alissa, especially that song with Nita Strauss.
😂😂😂😂. The first time being introduced to a band by Richard and Johnny. Very interesting. Likely not one I would have found myself. Wow the differences in her voice. The band is really good. I think I have to listen to more before deciding.
I discovered Jinjer through a reaction video two years ago, and they've been my favorite band ever since. Going to see them live for the 3rd time, in April. This song is just the tip of the iceberg. Their entire catalog is just one banger after another.
@@danielbeck9310i second that emotion. Same story. I had never been a fan of harsh or extreme vocals. This song changed my world in the best possible way. They've become my favorite band since Rush retired. Their catalog is that consistently good. Their musicianship and passion are that strong. Their live ethic has that integrity. Their chemistry is that perfect. BTW, I saw Rush 36x. I hope to see Jinjer as many times. I'm at 2 so far as well. Their live performances are purely epic. I'm jealous if you have tickets for April, that must mean Milwaukee, Vegas or Arizona. The only three American dates they've announced. I'm strongly considering the long trip from Alabama to Wisconsin or Arizona. My drummer went to Sick New World last year and that's a hard pass for me. But both those others are exactly the right kind of gig for Jinjer. Headlining, not supporting. Smallish but classy venue. General admission. You'll have every chance to get right up close to the GOATs and maybe even make eye contact with the Queen. It's an experience not to be forgotten. And it opened up a whole new world of music for me. Jinjer is an awesome gateway drug!
@ericpeterson7512 yeah, I'm going to the Milwaukee show. I plan on getting there early to get up front on the rail. I was up front both times I've seen them so far, and was incredible both times. First time I saw them, in Minneapolis, I did the meet & greet, so got to meet them and get a photo with them, which is now framed on my wall, lol. This show was originally scheduled last September, but got postponed due to travel issues. So, it's been a long wait. The original show was scheduled on my birthday, so it was kind of a gut punch when it got cancelled. They're not scheduling any more shows in the spring because they're in the studio working on a new album. Hopefully, they'll add some dates in September/October, because they'll be back in the States for Aftershock and Louder Than Life. After that they're already booked the rest of the year for tours in Europe and South America.
@@danielbeck9310 yeah that's what I'm afraid of, that they won't have any more American shows this year. If I'm gonna see Jinjer as many times as I saw Rush, I'm gonna have to get to work! I'm 61, and I saw Rush 36x lol. I'm only on 2 with Jinjer. Do the math lol. I was up close to the rail at both of my shows. Close enough to make eye contact with the band. It's a real privilege to see a band this good, up that close. Rush quickly got beyond my range as they started headlining arenas. I was only able to see them up close a few times. It gets expensive! It's so great you can still do that with Jinjer, often for like $30! I've checked out that venue in Milwaukee, it looks great. It's a long trip from Alabama, but I might have to do it.
@ericpeterson7512 I'm driving 5 hours to Milwaukee, coming from Minnesota. That's about my limit. Any farther than that, I'll just have to wait until they come around again, lol.
🔥Welcome to Jinjer, Richard and Johnny! I just found your channel, great reaction (I loved seeing Richard on a happy roller-coaster and Johnny's shock to the depths of hell 😅), subbed! Thank you for bringing the fantastic genre twisting music of Jinjer to more people! I love their energy, how tight they are, the heaviness mixed with complexity and groove, beautiful singing and growling and especially Tatiana's lyrics! The first time I heard Pisces in 2019 I hadn't liked any metal with growling and it took me a few listens to start liking it, but now Tatiana is my favorite vocalist and Jinjer my favorite band (Pisces has been my wake up alarm for a few years and I still love it more every time I hear it). TLDR: skip to the last paragraph 😂 Sorry for the long comment, I just love Jinjer too much and love seeing people discover (and usually fall in love with) them and each of their songs! My three favorite comments about Jinjer that I've seen, "terrifying levels of talent", "I hate it when a Jinjer song ends", and "that was more unexpected than my first child" 🤣 All four current members of Jinjer have essentially no formal musical training except Vlad the drummer who studied classical piano. For most of their songs, the three guys write most of the instrument music, then Tatiana writes most of the lyrics and melodies (she gets tons of well deserved credit hfor her vocal and stage performance abilities, but maybe not quite enough for her lyrical and musical composition abilities). Roman the guitarist has written a lot of the instrument music in the past, so he's a huge part of the beautiful sound of Jinjer, but Vlad the drummer (who also plays guitar and classical piano, but so far not in most Jinjer songs - I think he played piano in lainnereP) has been writing more of it and wrote nine of the eleven songs for the latest album Wallflowers. Eugene composes some - he wrote the instrument music for one song on Wallflowers and a few songs on other albums, and I know that apart from his amazing work on the bass, he adds riffs and has written lyrics for a few Jinjer songs. Jinjer has been a tour-heavy band, touring almost nonstop from 2013 to 2020 and much of the time since then (with interruptions by covid and the US backed coup/proxy war), hard work that has made them fantastic live performers. The band (all members have been Ukrainian, with Russian their first language) started in eastern Ukraine in 2009 as a group of three (then five) with none of the current members (they consider the official start of the band when Tatiana replaced the male vocalist and Roman joined as lead guitar 2009/2010), Vlad is the fifth drummer (joined in 2016) and it's been a group of four since 2015 (though they consider their road sound engineer Sasha to be a fifth member). I think they're still friends with all the former members and you can see their former guitarist turned actor, Dmitry Oksen, in older videos on guitar and a more recent video (Disclosure) playing an interrogator. One of the things I love most about Jinjer is the messages in Tatiana's lyrics and the way she combines growling and beautiful singing with Jinjer's fantastic instrumentals to be so powerful for expressing the anger and pain in those messages: the anti-war message in Home Back, the anti-greed in On The Top, Mediator and No Hoard Of Value (also the horror of the coal mining industry in their home Ukraine), the protest song Who Is Gonna Be The One, the anti-fascism of Sit Stay Roll Over, the anger at people being narrow minded in Teacher Teacher and Judgment & Punishment, the struggles with mental health in Pit Of Consciousness, Vortex, Wallflower and Perennial, the giving voice to mother nature angry at humanity for letting capitalism destroy her in a bunch of songs like Ape, The Prophecy, Cloud Factory, Noah, Outlander and Bad Water. Other favorites are I Speak Astronomy, Retrospection, Words of Wisdom, Just Another, Captain Clock, Scissors, Exposed As A Liar, I Want It I'll Get It, A Plus Or A Minus, Dip A Sail, When Two Empires Collide, lainnereP, Prologue and Beggar's Dance (those last two are short album bookends that could do well together in one reaction if you're so inclined). I haven't found a Jinjer song I don't love, so I think you can't go wrong if you choose any of them, but a few good choices might be Perennial (official and/or live at Wacken, both are must-see), Teacher Teacher (official), Judgement & Punishment (official and/or Tatiana's one take performance, again both must-see), Pit of Consciousness (official and/or live in Kiev/Kyiv, a third where both are absolutely must-see) or the heartwrenching plea against war in Home Back (official video). Thank you, Richard and Johnny! I hope you'll keep trying out more Jinjer songs and enjoy! ❤🖤🤘
This was an absolute joy to watch, my favourite reaction video. Loved it guys. This performance is one of my absolute favs alongside alongside queens live performance of somebody to love in montreal. The demonstration of talent vocally and the band is of the chart. A truly great performance
I really love that you both made a point of praising the band, in addition to Tati. Jinjer is an AMAZING band, some of the best modern metal, and they are ALL incredible musicians.
You guys are so fun and knowledgeable. Also, your reaction to her voice change was delightful to watch. I will be watching more of your channel going forward!! Also I am loving listening to you talk about the different folds and how they work. Super fascinating!
Vortex, Teacher Teacher & Judgment & Punishment (the one vocal take vid) would all be great for next up, but theres a lot more great options too, you could go for a while with this band!
Ah..you meet the Mistress of Sudden light and Darkness.. The whole band are total craft Meister's as you have seen but the Tatiana small and introverted has entire Star systems within her. That she can switch and run between her voices, is her incredible gift and she might well be the origin of all such inspiration. The band have special cultural status.. as performing ambassadors to their home, Ukraine. May I suggest, Teacher Teacher as a follow up..😎👍🏼 Slava ....🧙🏼♂️🇬🇧
Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 something you might like to check out the band is called Nightwish it's a symphonic metal band from Finland 🇫🇮 with a Dutch singer floor jansen ( the vakyrie) This band has a massive following in Europe and the Internet the go to song to start your Nightwish journey is Nightwish ghost love score wacken open air concert 2013 official music video And prepare for the Nightwish army arriving at the door 🚪 lol 😊
In interviews Tati talked about how she spent a long time perfecting her growls because she wanted to sound like the male singers who growled. Usually women who do harsh vocals have a distinct quality from having a naturally higher voice, but she decided she didn't like that sound and spent ages working out how to sound more like a male vocalist doing growls. It's wildly impressive.
When I was living in Jakarta-Indonesia at the British International School. The advanced teacher I had was a conductor for the London Symphony Orchestra once. He brought me out of piano into the percussion orchestra world for the school (due to lack of them). But this is the clinger, he was dabling into training me like how this drummer for Jinjer was, he was also an ex classical pianist. My mind was VERY hyped when I got introduced to Jinjer 6 years ago. 🤯🥳
You guys a great, it makes real fun to look your vids! Regarding Jinjer: after this total distraction by the first encounter with Tati and this fantastic musicians - take also a look at the lyrics, they have the same quality as anything else regarding the band!
Seen jinjer twice and met them once they are even more amazing live her changes are flawless and not to even mention how amazing the entire band is live you will always be in shock and awe and love it everytime
You should watch the video from The Charismatic Voice where they took the lead singer of Lorna Shore and had a camera put down his throat to see what is going on when they do screams, growls, etc.
I saw Jinjer on their last tour through Toronto. Killer show. If they come to your town, I highly recommend going. You won't be disappointed. Sounds even better live.🤘🤘
And, Pisces is Jinjer for beginners. Wait til you get to some other stuff! My current favorite is Vortex. Judgement and Punishment one take is the best second step listen. It’s good for analyzing, understanding and geeking. Also, Teacher Teacher is a good next listen. It’s a concert compilation video.
I love the way you 2 do this of this one. I will say that teacher teacher is my favorite. I would also suggest that you look at the warning 3 sisters from Mexico
I discovered Tati and Jinjer about 7 months ago during a late night listening session. I never get tired of seeing reactions to this specific song, given its soft almost pop like “chill” sections. Her vocal control is astounding.
Ah, Tati. Note that this is not her "normal" clean voice; she intentionally sounded lighter? breathy? She emulated a different style to make her harsh vocals pop in the chorus. She knows her voice. She is self taught. Another good growler is Alyssa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy. And Mayu of Nemophila, though she is higher in range
Good catch that this is not her normal clean voice. It's softer, breathier, smoother. And the contrast is more stark than usual, which makes it perfect both for the song and for reactors. I second the motion on Alissa, Mayu and Courtney! Also check out Brittney from Unleash the Archers, Jessie from Ankor, Maria from Future Palace (try Malphas) and my new favorite: IKINÄ from Finland, with two amazing badass female singer/screamers, Katariina and Tuuli, who do it all in perfect harmony. Their video for Rituaali is the tip of the iceberg! Three albums of greatness.
The “Superfecta” of Progressive Hard Rock, Hard Rock Trio, Progressive Groove Metal, and Power Metal: Band-Maid, The Warning, Jinjer, and Lovebites -- all pushing their core genres into the next realm! 🤘 🤘 🤘🤘 Thx, Richard and Johnny!
Yess go and check out two sides of the jinjer spectrum . On one end a bit similar but not Wallflower and on the other side Sit stay roll over to knock your socks of. Enjoy the jinjer rabbithole.
Few points worth noting: - The mic type. It shows that the growl is actually not very loud, just very much amplified - This *is* partially prerecorded, you can hear layering there, added to the scream and to the regular voice (e.g. she's whispering in some moment) - Belting up to F5 is a tell-tell sign that she's using her voice correctly Great explanation of how the growl is produced!
I also recommend to read a little of the bands background, and listen to their song "Homeback", really deep, powefull song and the last lows of Tatiana... wooww
I love watching vocal coaches/vocalists & musicians listen to Jinjer for the first time. Like my dude said, it's like "weeeeeee on a rollarcoaster" 🎢 🤣🤣🤣

I finally got to see JINJER Aug. 12, 2023 in Syracuse, NY...amazing.
Two good rip your face off tracks…Sit Stay Rollover and Mediator
who is going to be the one, is an incredible song as well
I Speak Astronomy by Jinjer is absolutely amazing.
They made this video to highlight the drummer and it went crazy - it is the one everyone wants reactors to watch first when entering the Jinjer rabbit hole
Wow what can I say - That's something new and extraordinary you you have introduced me to yet again.
Great performance from Jinjer AND the band.
Enjoy!
Good morning! Now im in for the first time! Yey! From the Philippines here, living in Colorado.
Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars (Live @ Sonic Pump)
I am 62 and I flew from California to Ohio to see jibjer with my son in’21 🔥🔥🤟
Must do no hoard of value, pit of consciousness ( live Kiev )
Good for you. I'm a senior too and like Zhou Shen as well a Jinger. Ren is a great performer and music very unusual.
2013 but close enough.
Want some more with both cleans and uncleans you might like (much more fun that usual metal :D of course you might know some of these already)
All female vocalists, mostly all female bands, 3 out of 5.
Hanabie - We Love Sweets MV
Nemophila - Ama Te Ras
Broken By The Scream -Sayonara Birthday
Gacharic Spin - I WIsh I MV
Passcode - Groundswell
@taihavard549 I only recognize the name Nemophila but I've never listened to them.
There alot of amazing woman that can do amazing clean and harsh. Alissa White Gluz of Arch Enemy, Melissa Bonney of Ad Adfinium. That's just for starters.
@@paulriddle7818 Yup
Have been enjoying the women who can do uncleans more than the guys recently.
@@paulriddle7818 yup, fixed it! Thanks
Great reaction again guys. You got your selfs a new subscriber. Cheers from a finn in Sweden.🎉
It was my first time here.
A logical follow up for this song is the one take performance of Circle With Me - Spiritbox
Great reaction (Subbed)
Nice drop, guys thanks!
TLDR: skip to the last paragraph 😂
Sorry for the long comment, I just love Jinjer too much and love seeing people discover (and usually fall in love with) them and each of their songs!
My three favorite comments about Jinjer that I've seen, "terrifying levels of talent", "I hate it when a Jinjer song ends", and "that was more unexpected than my first child" 🤣
All four current members of Jinjer have essentially no formal musical training except Vlad the drummer who studied classical piano.
There is SO MUCH MORE!!! You NEED to keep going... More JINJER... 💙💛🌻☠❤🤍💙
This was an absolute joy to watch, my favourite reaction video. Loved it guys. This performance is one of my absolute favs alongside alongside queens live performance of somebody to love in montreal. The demonstration of talent vocally and the band is of the chart. A truly great performance
The drum set the beat, the guitar set the mood, the bass make the narative and the sing expression the whole!
I really love that you both made a point of praising the band, in addition to Tati. Jinjer is an AMAZING band, some of the best modern metal, and they are ALL incredible musicians.
Congratulations guys, 125k subscribers woohoo!
126K already! 🥳
You need to listen to Nightwish - Ghost Love Score Wacken 2013
You guys are so fun and knowledgeable. Also, your reaction to her voice change was delightful to watch. I will be watching more of your channel going forward!! Also I am loving listening to you talk about the different folds and how they work. Super fascinating!
I love metal!!
Vortex, Teacher Teacher & Judgment & Punishment (the one vocal take vid) would all be great for next up, but theres a lot more great options too, you could go for a while with this band!
Jinjer always does their best work live.
Ah..you meet the Mistress of Sudden light and Darkness.. The whole band
are total craft Meister's as you have seen but the Tatiana small and introverted has entire Star systems within her.
Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 something you might like to check out the band is called Nightwish it's a symphonic metal band from Finland 🇫🇮 with a Dutch singer floor jansen ( the vakyrie) This band has a massive following in Europe and the Internet the go to song to start your Nightwish journey is
Nightwish ghost love score wacken open air concert 2013 official music video
And prepare for the Nightwish army arriving at the door 🚪 lol 😊
Johnny's face when he first heard her transition... 😂
I am laughing already, awaiting the response...😂
Seen jinjer twice and met them once they are even more amazing live her changes are flawless and not to even mention how amazing the entire band is live you will always be in shock and awe and love it everytime
I absolutely LOVE this reaction! You guys gained a new subscriber with your reactions! Too fun!!!!
This band is amazing! ❤😅
*Never gets old to see first time reactors to Jinjer* (When fans tell you about songs....Stop sneak peeking into it and just do it)
I love how you went well beyond the obvious shocking twist to look into the actual song. Great reaction.
POWERFUL
You should watch the video from The Charismatic Voice where they took the lead singer of Lorna Shore and had a camera put down his throat to see what is going on when they do screams, growls, etc.
I love you two and am looking forward to your trip to Budapest for you!
The whole band is so tight..awesome ❤❤❤
ooooh.... Tatiana......😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love the way you 2 do this of this one. I will say that teacher teacher is my favorite. I would also suggest that you look at the warning 3 sisters from Mexico
I’ve watched DOZENS of responses to this. I applaud you guys that you’re probably only the fifth that have talked about the false folds!👏🏻
Sooooo talented! I can never get enough of this. And yesssss to Perennial Live at Wacken. Incredible!
I discovered Tati and Jinjer about 7 months ago during a late night listening session.
I never get tired of seeing reactions to this specific song, given its soft almost pop like “chill” sections.
Her vocal control is astounding.
i finally got to see them live a few months ago, they did not disappoint
I've heard not less than a hundred reactions to this video. This is probably my favorite and definitely the most fun!
You missed Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox
Seconded. Teacher Teacher is my all-time favorite, Judgement & Punishment one- take is phenomenal.
Jinjer's mexican fan here 🇲🇽🇲🇽
Please react to their song On the top, live in Kiev
Great reaction to this song and awesome commentary. Such a great song--Tati gives me vibes of Otep.
More Jinjer. Judgement and punishment live 1 take version is a must watch
Teacher teacher -jinjer is a must
I’m so glad you’ve watched them! 😊🫶🏼
Just created Jinjer station on Pandora...can't get enough!
Please react to Spiritbox - Circle With Me One Take performance. I trust that you'll be amazed
Jinjer is the personification of "Learn how to do things right, so you can do them wrong correctly".
If you want to hear her go higher… I Speak Astronomy
If you want to hear her go lower… Home Back…
Tati is simply amazing…
I love I speak Astronomy but they have a different drummer. That drummer is really good too.
Few points worth noting:
- The mic type. It shows that the growl is actually not very loud, just very much amplified
- This *is* partially prerecorded, you can hear layering there, added to the scream and to the regular voice (e.g. she's whispering in some moment)
- Belting up to F5 is a tell-tell sign that she's using her voice correctly
Great explanation of how the growl is produced!
JINJER - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) | Napalm Records - There is a most low voice, very cool track!
The verse is in 7/8 a pattern of 4 followed by a pattern of 3
you should JINGER live
I also recommend to read a little of the bands background, and listen to their song "Homeback", really deep, powefull song and the last lows of Tatiana... wooww
Well you need to check out Perennial Live from Wacken 2019, you'll be blown away!
I love watching vocal coaches/vocalists & musicians listen to Jinjer for the first time. Like my dude said, it's like "weeeeeee on a rollarcoaster" 🎢 🤣🤣🤣
