thanks, came across you by accident but this is just what I need and ….as I am also a needle felter and have recently been perfecting my blanket stitch it will all work well for when my new supply of 80 embroidery cottons arrives next week. I also think this could work with making a little pouch to keep my scissors in, maybe an extra pocket on the outside at the back. 🎉🎉🎉
@@DanoDoesThings I have done it!! …but I have decided to try something and so didn’t needle felt on the front. I have found a video that shows a blanket stitch with a twist called ‘corded detached blanket stitch’ You can make things that have a 3 dimensional look. I am going to practice though before doing it on the pocket!!
oh i really love this it's so cute and simple..!!!! also i just recently bought some felting equipment and WOW it is harder than i thought it would be lol!! i just used cheap wool so maybe that's part of it but... i felted a bean and she's a straggly lookin gal..... anyway anyway i'm definitely gonna make this so i dont lose my new felting needles!!!
I'm so glad to hear you started felting! It's a really fun craft. But I agree, definitely takes some time to get into it, and better quality wool for sure makes it easier (it just smooths out much quicker!). Watch out for your fingers and good luck on your felting!

Yes!! Blanket stitch is my favourite. Adding extra pockets for scissors is a great idea!
