  • Making a needlebook turned out to be easier than I thought although I still made lots of mistakes. So don't treat it as a tutorial, more like an experiment with some tips so you will make your needlebook better.
Felt is good for keeping needles dry and safe, some of mine were starting to tarnish. Hope cleaning and keeping them in this book will help them to last longer
    I used:
    A4 sheets of felt: amzn.to/30tkcDc
    6 stranded mouline thread: amzn.to/3wTscJP
    hot glue gun: amzn.to/34NbK0z
mini iron 2 by clover: amzn.to/32PE6pU
    embroidery needles №3-9: amzn.to/3u3Xqvq
    snap fastener: amzn.to/3nluQFm
    thread leftovers
I get commissions for purchases made through these links

Love this video. Half of sewing is changing things as you go. Keep working it until it looks right. Problem solving. Most videos don't show this in real time. End result was adorable and functional.

I want to make one. But I think I'll include a front pocket for needle threaders, and a back pocket for scissors. I got a piece of Wool felt, it's much thicker than the craft felt. I think I'll use that to put the actual needles inserted into. The natural lanolin in the wool felt is supposed to prevent the needles from rusting. Just touching the wool felt, it feels like hand lotion, where touching the craft felt feels dry and scratchy on my skin.

Absolutely love this! I'm also trying to come up with ways to store & organize my needles. I've saved this for future reference, as I may take some elements you've included. We'll see1 Thanks so much for sharing this with us, it's very handy!

I love your Needlebook. Everything is so organized. I need to make one for my needles when I find the time. I have all colors of felt and lots of needles to put in it. Great idea to do the labels with erasable pens.
Now you just need to embroidery something pretty and appliqué it to the front of your book.
I’m glad this video popped up. New subscriber to your channel. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. 💕🧵🪡

I was thinking about how to label my needle book... using the heat-erasable ink is so practical. Thank you!

Love it! I would have done the double sided pages. I use both in my needle book but I only have two pages and the pins often get stuck and hold my pages shut. I think the felt strip will help!

Also a spot of appliqué glue a each end of those to hold them in place might make it a bit easier to hold it all while you stitch
