When it come to force feedback do what feels best for you. My setting probably aren’t perfect but it works for me and I still tweak my settings very often, thank you for watching🙏
Probably found it by now, but for the others it’s at willow springs street circuit. Use the time trial so you can change cars and have unlimited race time
Nice video!! Also, I have a question about a car. The Shigeno spec 86 drives like crap. Can someone pls help me analyze why? I feel like it’s too sharp and has too much grip for the sort of suspension and tyres (SH) that it has. It “bites” too much and the steering feels unpredictable. Drives nothing like the normal 86 with the same tyres and settings
Heyam i have a question. I don't understand why when i try to drift with any car for some reason the car can't fully throttle. This happenes with every car and bult. Can you helo amd if you do i will apriceat it amd i will subscribe
I’ve never encountered that problem , my best guess is possibly not being in the right gear or you don’t have enough initial torque. How can you tell it isn’t full throttle?
Would you be willing to host a lobby giving pointers not sure if that would help. I want this so bad. Maybe Ill open a beginner lobby for us newbies to watch and learn anyone down
I’ve never done anything like that but it could definitely be fun to . Though it maybe hard to try and figure out where people are going wrong when they are drifting , since i cant see they’re wheel or anything . It could work though
@Volsity that's what I was thinking unfortunately. Maybe I friend some people in the community we can try some stuff and go from there. So your not wasting time from content. Your videos are sick and so satisfying to watch you "Send it"
@@Volsity i think a party with you and some other people in the gt7 lobby where you just give pointers while spectating people also if you spectate from 1st person you can see the wheel movement
yes but the other tips are immensely helpful, and I’m not just saying that to get people to watch the full thing , but throttle control is by far the most important
no trying to be rude but if you gonna make a video like this and talk about how throttle is the most important part. The least you can do to actually show how to do it is to put the throttle imputs in the video, like come on
i think i know what you are referring to , i was going to but i don’t think you can have it on screen unless you have all the other ui stuff on the screen
I dunno why I can’t drift with my T300, especially that it vibrates a lot when you turn the wheel like it trying to tell that the front tires have no grip… if there’s a way to turn this off…
does this happen while you are actively sideways or trying to get sideways. My first guess would be maybe too much force feedback. That wheel is a bit more powerful then the one i’m working with.
I know this a old comment but try turning force feed back sensitivity down to 1 or 2 . It will help numb the loss of front wheel traction and I will slow how fast you’re wheel rotates .lower the normal ffb to around 2 or 3 .
2:50 "Turning this wheel as fast as possible" - No Look at any drifter, real life or sim, doesn't matter, they barely steer with hands. Wheel is the problem - these Logitech wheels are no good for drifting at all, they are just too weak. I had one, drifting was impossible in any game - sold Logitech, bought Thrustmaster T300 and problem solved. it's better to save up a little bit more and go for Thrustmaster, its also 100 times more quiet.
Self steer doesn’t always help and you are right to an extent. That can be the case but sometimes u may need to do the counter steering yourself maybe you need to do something the car doesn’t want you to do. It is a good skill to have either way.
almost everything in the video completely applies to controller , drive with your gas , using your clutch. It can all be applied to controller, but with that being said i can’t drift at all in GT7 with controller , haven’t tried. But with consistency you will get it.
Drifting with controller in GT7 is way easier than using a wheel and pedals . Took me like 3 weeks to get it in GT7, Forza, and Beamng im nasty with a controller but once I get on the wheel I’m so garbage
I actually didn’t have a shifter for a while, was still shifting with paddle shifters thought. Kind of a pain but it can work but in my opinion your are still limited since you don’t have a clutch but that doesn’t mean you can’t get really good.

I can drift in assetto but this game feels foreign
That's because it's foreign to this game
You can drift in asseto? Any videos
@@Demon_Pilot_GT videos of what? Me drifting?
It's because the FFB and physics are not good in GT7.
Ngl, I was able to do inner wheel lift in AC on the Initial D tracks, but it's harder in GT7.
Just got GT7 after a long pause (my last GT was 5) and a G29 plus shifter as well. Can't wait to test out these settings.
Been looking to get into drifting, thanks for the tutorial man
Good luck on your journey man🫡
@@Volsity thanks bro
That was a lot of info in one go, but I think I kinda get it now.
This was the best explanation I ever heard though, thanks.

Can't wait to get my hand on wheel to have some real fun.. w video bro nice tutorial 👌
Oh shit finally
Drift turorial
What track is that? It looks like willow springs but I dont find that part of the track
I actually find it easier to drift with the sports mediums or softs over the comforts.
I just seem to be able to keep the car from spinning out. I manage a small drift every now and then but not much.
Where do i find that big flat pad in game?

What’s the first track? Looks like an empty carpark, good to practice but haven’t seen it?
it is the willow springs track , and the specific layout is ‘streets of willow springs’ followcthe track for a bit and you’ll find the empty area
Does ac or gt have more realistic drifting
Assetto hands down
Thanks for the tips bro great video 💯 👍

what map is this? interested in the open space to practice (i’m new to this game after 10+ years)

I did a bit in the video, do you have a question about it?
Wehren is the 1 map😊
where do i find this map where he at at the beginning
streets of willow springs
My car doesn’t slide and i cant hold my drift even when using handbrake?
sounds like throttle control or driver error
Check your assists. If you have traction control, or stability controls assists on the game will restrict the vehicles ability to drift.
name of the map?
The first one is one of the version of willow springs . The other is tsukuba circuit.
thanks@@Volsity
Is the g29 a good wheel?
yes in my opinion it is, it’s the best budget wheel. Thrustmaster is good but to get shifter and pedals is more expensive.
drifting in GT7 is easy on controller apart from recovering from a drift
Could use a pedal cam

you drive out to around where the pits are , and there is like a curved line of cones behind that is the big open area.
