@@chrismorley3074 thank you! I like to make them very much. In my mind I can not review the pen without the ink or paper. It is always the combination that makes the experience unique.

Great video discussing your everyday use of your Lamy 2000. Pilot does make a matte black Vanishing Point, so that may be something you would enjoy. Just to let you know, I own multiple Pilots (Custom Heritage models, Prera, Elite 95S, Capless Steel nib), they do not play well with European inks that have average to slightly drier flow (Pelikan, Waterman, Lamy, etc), so if you get them, you may find them less tolerant of different ink viscosities than your Lamy 2000. If you own a big variety of inks with various viscosities, then a fine or extra fine nib Lamy 2000 is a better choice than a Pilot. I own mostly Japanese inks, which are much more lubricated, so Pilots, Sailors, and a fine nib Lamy Safari comprise my fleet of pens.

Yes the Pilot Vanishing Point in matt black is definitely something that fits me. I have one and I love it.
      Very interesting. Thank you.

I used to have that ink in my Prefounte with a preppy blue feed and homeground stub; but changed to 1864 b/b (bit of a Diamine fanboy) then they cost cut us to this bog paper... may as well use Parker Blk. smh🙄

I also tried the Diamine 1864 Blue/Black. But somehow I prefer the regular one. At least for now.

Has anyone at your work recognized your Lamy 2000? Even though it's understated, it's a very distinct design. And with Lamy being a German brand of course, it wouldn't suprise me if someone recognized it.

Right in the beginning my college recognized that I‘m using my own pen. Bit that‘s it. Nobody actually said that they recognized the model.
