Very nice! I just purchased this lens and am waiting for it to come in the mail. I will be pairing it with my 90D also. Looks really good. Even though it doesn’t have image stabilization, the constant 1.8 sold me. It being such a wild lens might not make that big of a difference though while shooting handheld.
Great video! Your content is top notch and I’m surprised your channel isn’t bigger! Keep it up and I’m sure you’ll have a huge growth spurt around the corner
even with a mic it still sounds so noisyyyy and autofocusing every second gonna cry 😭😭 the quality of your vid really is amazing!! I’ve ordered the sigma 18-35 1.8 and tamron 24-70 2.8 but the tamron was thousand times worser😢 I really don’t know which lens to pick for my 90d specially for videography/product/portrait/couple and baby photography. I only have the canon 50mm 1.8 and don’t understand that much about lenses :( now considering to send the sigma and tamron back.. can a good prime work better for that? or stick with the allround lenses incl the annoying AF an noise? I’ve watched almost every single video on youtube still don’t get it 😂 if you have any tips you’re more than welcome 🫶🏻🌷💗
I’m new to all of this and am just wondering how a 18-35mm could be good for let’s say wild life photography. I’m going to be using a 90d for TH-cam videos to do with bonsai trees but will be using it for other stuff I do like wildlife and portraits. Plus video of other stuff. Would this lens be a good idea
The 18-35mm lens existed since 2013. A couple of years ago, you could have definitely said they're one of the best in the game :) - I want to get this lens sometime in the future. Side note: lens is silent with a mic, noisy without an external mic. Got it
I've seriously thought about getting this lens for my 90D, but i) it doesn't have image stabilization, ii) it hadsno form of weather protection, and iii) it is notorious for its autofocus problems. I expect better for the price tag.

always loved the 1.8
Great video Indira. It's my current setup and I'm still figuring it out.

or i can sell everything and buy a whole new FF camera haha help meeee pls
the wide angle lens for me doesn't make that much noise and espically with editing
I'm pretty sure only videographers/cinematographers will appreciate the full capability of this combo.
for sure! it's a pretty awesome setup :)
This is a great lens. It’s my workhorse, slightly heavy, but it’s worth it as a go to for video and photos. Great video! 👏👏
Yas!!! The lens is amazing will be sad when I have to give it back
What mic are you using
using the rode videomic ntg. it's a really good microphone need to make a video review on it soon :)
it's great that you do these reviews. Nice one!
Thank you so much!!!
Woo looks so professional 😍😍👍

This lens is not for wildlife photography. For wildlife you will need a sigma 150-600mm
i would go for a longer lens such as 70-200
Can you take pictures through viewfinder without losing focus on sigma lens?
yes for sure!
@@ItsIndiraChannel did you have to calibrate it first using the sigma usb doc?
