- Another C8 Corvette with a Procharger Supercharger system installed at Late Model Racecraft. The Procharger system was installed by a previous shop and the vehicle continued to have issues with shifting during acceleration. I know Steve tries not to be bias towards builds but the look of his face when he drive a C7 compared to the other cars him and his team builds is completely different. When you see him testing a C7 you couldn't pull the smile off of his face. He absolutely loves C7's more than any other car. Awesome job guys.

@@kirkcunningham6146 People say that for every corvette makeover. I remember when the c6 came out everyone hated it because the flip headlights were gone. They said it didn’t look like a corvette anymore 😂
I have a c8... the C7 looks better imo. C7 Grand Sport blacked out = badass.

Pretty sure his frustration is from previous work not getting the results and he is probably happy but wished he went to LMR first.
What happens is, we get used to the seat of the pants feel at any given mod hence constantly chasing more horsepower and torque. Its a never ending cycle and the aftermarket makes money off of it. How much horsepower and torque do you really need on the street? His car is tuned nice and very fast. There's a line all guys need to draw for themselves and be satisfied and happy with what they have after goals are met. This car needs a tune right out of the factory, all guys know this by now. Many times that line is never drawn with guys like him.

FYI if you hold down the paddle shifter it will down gear automatic into the lowest gear, even if your in 7th to all the way to 3rd

That Famous Limp Mode!!! I dropped $30k on a stage 5 and 3yrs later I’m looking for another shop to get it where it was supposed to be and along the way another $10k
This setup should work with the C8 E-Ray coming soon, correct? Would be cool to have this AWD.

@@Blanaba couldn't imagine it being much different, pretty much just a hybrid base model. Same exact engine just with the assistance of an electric motor on the front wheels.

You could do way more with the C7 Corvette in my opinion.
C7 is better for racing, but C8 is a way better car. Looks better handles better, way better interior, & etc. If you’re building a race car I agree go C7.
Pretty similar, maybe if you're going all out balls deep aiming for 7s or something, sure. However with the C8, you're going to go faster with 700 hp than you would with that same power in a C7. But with the C8, you're also getting all of the newer benefits too like mentioned above, looks better (opinion), handling, interior, etc. But with all of that aside, same power in each car, the C8 will be faster.
@@whatta7793 those cars are still untenable, you’re basically limited what you can do with them, or at least the transmissions are still locked, only thing you can do is upgrade the clutches, my opinion, C6, C7, or a Shelby is the better option.

This guy has a straight poker-face. LMR does wonderful work, but he already looked bored with the car during the test drive.
But, to be fair, he thought about coming back within the next "2 weeks" to get more mods done. I bet that'll happen based on this videos facial expressions of him.

What’s the chances of the clutch slipping on a 2023 c8 with a stage one pro charger kit? I keep reading that c8’s, especially early models, have clutch slippage issues

Nice work but I don’t know if worth it, car goes from 495 hp to 608hp, keep in mind that will cost a lot of money to get a supercharge plus the labor and parts involved, also the issues in the long run,,,, car cost $72k cheap and probably $20k on labor (cheap as well) ,,,I will go with the z06 1lt base for$112k that comes with more power
