Hello! I'm glad you find the videos helpful. Before starting a job, I need some advice. I need to create a form for a healthcare company where we handle hundreds of calls per day. I tried using Google Forms with multiple sections, but the Google servers couldn't handle the workload. When I shared the form and Google Sheet, the scripts couldn't process properly. Do you have any advice regarding this?
Everything about this video is excellent. Save it in your favorites. Have you considered adding a mail merger video for the downloaded CSV file to create a customized word or pdf document?
How do I save and keep on the progressing question development and work at another time? And also how to resend to other persons the same developed questions on the Google Form at another time?
am a teacher. In a question paper, there are 2 sections partA & partB. In partA,35 questions given & all questions attempted. In partB, 15 questions given only 10 questions must be answered. Therefore overall 45 questions need to be attempted. Each questions carries 4 marks hence total marks 180. Which add on should I use. Please suggest
I would probably make 17 sections. The first with 35 questions, a section where students would choose which 10 (of the 15) they want and then a section for each of the 15 questions. This would be some complicated branching (go to section based on answer) but would probably be the best way to accomplish your goal. Good luck!
You cannot, though some teachers use add-ons such as ForMule to send scores. You can also release the quiz scores later so that students do not see the responses immediately. This can be found under the gear and then quizzes.
We are experimenting with Google Forms for submission of reports by our search and recovery canine teams. Is it possible to take one field in our document ( for example, a description of the missing person) and populate it with specific information before we send it out? I have not been able to figure that out. Also, is the collaborator I would add also able to access all reports that are submitted or is only the sender able to do that? Thanks so much.
You cannot take a field from a document and place in a form. The collaborator will not have access to the reports. To get that, you will need to share the spreadsheet the form generates with them.
@@c.j.shields7701 thanks much. I understand about the collaborative piece. Still not clear on populating a form in advance though. If I have a category ( for example, description of missing person), is there a way to put that in the document before I send it out? I am sorry to be confused on this. Thanks so much for your help.
@@bonefinderdog5884 , yes you can insert text by using the the Title and Description option (it is a large and small T on the insertion menu). Hopefully that will help.
very useful tutorial but can you plz tell me why I don't have the feedback option in my google forms? My school has signed up for it so there should be no reason I don't have it.
Glad that you found it useful! I assume you mean when the Form is used a quiz? If it is not there, you might want to double check to make sure the quiz option is activated (starts at minute 41). If that is activated and you still don't have the feedback option then you will want to talk to your school's Google admin. Thanks for checking!
how to change "go to section based on answer" with go to section based on 2 answer? because that function only work for lastest question only... expectation, example go to section based on 2 answer: Yes, Yes = go to section 2 Yes, No = end, submit No, Yes = end, submit No, No = end, submit reality, example go to section based on answer: Yes, Yes = go to section 2 Yes, No = end, submit No, Yes = go to section 2 (this is based on lastest question) No, No = end, submit
Thank you very much for this great video, actually I have a problem with google form, I am a teacher when I make a formal quiz I don't want to limit the number of responses but the most important thing is to set the form such that it will submit automatically at a certain time otherwise many students will get zero as they don't submit on time Is there any add on that can help with this situation?
There is not a time option; however, you can manually turn off the test by clicking responses and then turn off the accepting responses option. I hope that helps.

Well-made tutorial. I wish it would include how to deal with the other types of questions like multiple question grids etc.

Is there a way to get a check (or other graphic) instead of seeing the #correct/#total score after completing a quiz

Great video. Is there any way, we can give line breaks to write lengthy questions ?
Thank you. Text should wrap automatically.
@@c.j.shields7701Yes it wraps automatically but I want to give manual line breaks.
@@vineetmidha There some add-ons that will supposedly do that, though I have never experimented with them.
@@c.j.shields7701 Thanks. I tried but could not find any add-ons for line breaks.
wee made tutorial.. can u create a tutorial as how to disable right click on google forms/quiz
how to change "go to section based on answer" with go to section based on 2 answer?
because that function only work for lastest question only...
expectation, example go to section based on 2 answer:
Yes, Yes = go to section 2
Yes, No = end, submit
No, Yes = end, submit
No, No = end, submit
reality, example go to section based on answer:
Yes, Yes = go to section 2
Yes, No = end, submit
No, Yes = go to section 2 (this is based on lastest question)
No, No = end, submit
That would require using multiple questions to create branches. Currently You can only go to a section based on one answer.
