- In the tenth episode of The Expanse season 2, Holden and crew traverse through Ganymede, hoping to find the guy possibly tied to the Protomolocule. Chrisjen continues to try and get Bobbie to open up.

Something exceptionally wholesome about Bobbie experiencing the ocean for the first time.
You were hilarious this episode. Never change.
Remember Mao told Erinnwright that he would have to find a sponsor that could focus on the importance of the project. Mao is just obsessed with trying to figure out the protomolecule and is pissed at both Earth and Mars for just wanting 'toys' aka weapons, but is willing to provide them with these if they support his research.
When Mao had his falling out with Errinwright, he said he needed a patron willing to adjust his worldview accordingly. That patron was certain people high up in the chain of command of Mars. Remember, Dresden said that the potential of the protomolecule protomolecule could be applied to "everything."
I love Bobbie’s storyline, especially in this episode. You see the cracks forming in the Martian dogma in her head, and the human connection between her and Niko feels small but enormously important at the same time.
Why Ganymede? Well, it's the only place where there are actual ground troops of both Earth and Mars and you want to test your weapon on the best trained and armed soldiers around. Furthermore, the station mainly provides food for the Belt and who cares about them, right?
Also, enjoyable reaction again. These vids never fail to make my day. See you at the next one.
At 7:17, the guy who lashes out at Prax is a friend/co worker named Basia. His son (he mentions his name - “Katoa”), like Prax’s daughter, has also gone missing. Just make a mental note of that...

Yeah, Ganymede is important for food...but only for belters, so (to inners) who cares, right?
Errinwright coming clean was quite the surprise, but I think it was maybe mostly because he realized J-P Mao had gone to Mars with the weapons project. He says he'll pay for his part, "one way or another."
I love Cotyar and Avasarala's relationship.
One of my favorite lines of the whole series: "Every shitty thing we do makes the next one that much easier, doesn't it?" Holden is changing and Naomi sees it.

The Martian captain Martins claimed to have been a chaplain (a military religious cleric), but doesn't act much like a chaplain. They were never very interested in hearing exactly how an elite Martian Marine squad got cut down so easily...they always cut Bobbie off every time she began to talk about the "thing" that attacked them. That was suspicious.
Errinwright was visibly startled when Bobbie mentioned the man without a vac suit, then he got extremely insistent about discovering anything on Bobbie's suit. I don't know if Mao went to Mars when threatened Errinwright to find another patron, or if Mao had been working secretly with both Earth and Mars all along.
They mentioned the name "Katoa" (a friend of Prax's daughter Mei) several times. Several times.
Amos' monologue about children of prostitutes being forced into child prostitution sounded like something he knows first hand, and he's carrying
a lot of anger over it. Remember we already know he was raised in brothels and knows how to entertain pedophiles.

I think when you say "cascade", you're thinking of a... cascade. :)

Non-spoiler because I'm referencing a past ep.:
Rewatch the end of the one where the Martian marine team was annihilated.
Note the drone. Note the blue-guy. Note the red light on the drone, which signals the blue-guy. Note the light in the blue-guy's chest which responds by growing brighter. Note Bobby rolling away to avoid the bright light. Note the final moment and the BIG flash. Note that the rescue team was sent out after that, and they didn't find any sign of blue-guy.
When testing a prototype, have a fail-safe.
