I get a feeling that they are all very similar and the one key factor you (or the customer) is paying for is the warranty of the coating. They all would probably last the same amount of time if they were all professionally applied with heat lamps.

You have to prove yourself and your skill set. Their standards are higher than anyone else's in the industry. There is a reason everyone compares their coating too ours and our group. Hi Sandro. Very good video. Excellent. An original painting, in very good condition, almost like new. Which of these three would you recommend? I want the best for my car, in this moment. Thx
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I'll give Nova Jet a try. Be interesting to see how Nova Jet would do on stripped clear vs Megs hybrid Ceramic spray. Hey sandro. I know this video is a few years old but I was stuck and wanted to know if inshould go down the path of finest reserve or a graphine coating? Its for a black SUV
Based on what I’ve tested I’d say that having a dash of graphene in a coating doesn’t make it break any coating. So I wouldn’t let it alone determine what coating I go for as at least right now, graphene in car waxes sealants and coatings hasn’t really proven to be all that different to products without them in term of performance. That doesn’t mean a coating with some graphene can’t be good, it just means that you shouldn’t go for a coating just because it has graphene, I’d base my choice on performance or reputation and not the ingredient list, hope that helps mate.
Hey Sandro! Apologies for bringing up an old video, it popped up and brought a question to mind. How would you rate C.Quartz Professional to Nova Pro? I know you have experienced both - maybe Nova Pro is more comparable to Finest but I always wondered how the general durability and performance of Professional was in comparison to Nova Pro.
Well CQP has had many updates since this video and I’d say the latest version is really a more concentrated and durable version of SiC, and overall I’d say it’s the best version of CQP to date. Nv Pro as you mentioned would be closer to Finest in terms of performance and a step up over CQP in my experience but very close to Finest in terms of overall performance.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Great info and just what I was suspecting, I have never experienced CQP or CQFR and have been curious. I love the CarPro brand, and I absolutely love Nova Pro/Nv as well. Thanks for the reply, hope all is well Sandro!
Sandro, 1st i'm a huge fan of your channel! Please keep going! 2nd, i have Finest Reserve in a new car since February. Actually my installer advised me instead of using Reload evere once in a while, use Hydrofoam diluted in a spray bottle 20:1 and use it every 1 or 2 months after a normal wash, simply spraying the panels and the mitt and pass it over. It works, the paint gets super slick. But, i would like to hear from you if you advise to use Reload or not, because hydrofoam doesn't last much. Do you see really any advantage in using Reload? Thank you soo much!!
Thanks Sandro. Another great video. I have yet to apply a ceramic coating to any car. Is it true that microfiber cloths that you use to wipe off the creamic coating are ruined after one use? Is it impossible to wash out the coating from the microfibers? Thanks.
bigrustybucket Thats how these bastards make their money...by making the user buy lots of cloths, applicators etc in order to do any coating jobs. Its all about making big bucks.
@@macallanvintage Yes but in this instance its pretty obvious that the residue would harden up on the microfiber cloth and so it should NEVER be used to clean your car ever again!! This would just be standard operating procedure!
@@macallanvintage Car Pro sells very reasonably priced suede leveling cloths & applicators. They also don't try to push anyone into buying them (can use microfiber towels instead).
If you had to choose between 2 layers of CQuartz Finest Reserve and 2 layers of CQuartz 3.0 and a layer of Gliss on top, which one would you choose on your car?
I'm not a pro although I have done a few polishes on cars. I plan on trying the 3.0 on my Audi S6. I've heard that it's easier in cold weather. Is that true? I'd like to know so I can do it now. It gets really hot in AZ. Also, if I may ask the pros, where do you go to get trained and certified? Is it a pure apprenticeship kind of thing or is there a detailing school? Thank you in advance.
Hi, I want to ask you , in your opinion what is better carpro professional or gyron mohs evo and top skin , because i want to apply in my car but I'm confused
I haven’t personally tried Mohs+Skin so I can’t comment there, but I do know that 2 Layers of CQPRO does perform extremely well when prep and application is on point.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Does the new version of carpro professional need infrared treatment? and If I put gliss above professional, is there a problem?
No, CQPRO doesn’t need IR curing and I would personally just stick with two layers of the coating for at least the first month - after that you can personally decide if you want to top it.
How did you like the Mille/S2Cut/Low Lint Lambswool combo?! I have all of those and haven’t had a chance to try them together, I have heard the Mille doesn’t like cutting pads without a foam interface! Also, how do you think the Scholl Shock 2 Cut compares to CarPro ClearCut?
Thank you for the reply! I typically use the Rupes coarse wool pad on my Mille..did you feel like the wool with no foam interface was more difficult to control? Did you feel like they cut more than the Rupes wool?
Hi there, I was wondering if CQ Finest reserve can be applied to a motorcycle with a matte black factory finish and not introduce any additional gloss, but I'm hearing conflicting things from different detailers? Thank you
Hey Sandro, I was just wondering if you had Carpro Echo2, Hydro2 lite, Reload, Nova Jet, Nova Lustre and Nova Evo. Which order would you use the products? Also, Which one would you choose and for what purpose. Thanks Love the videos, Keep up the great work
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Awesome, Thanks for that. I was thinking of using echo2 as a drying agent, then using Nova Evo and top it off with Reload. I also have Fusso Coat which I could use instead of a coating but that is irrelevant in this case. (Would you prefer Reload or Lustre+Jet?) Thanks again for your informative response and videos.
Hi Sandro great video. Hopefully you can give me some advice. I've been using Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and C1 (C1 being a cheaper alternative). Had great results with both, specially with CSL. But due to the supplier not having stock, I've recently been looking into the CQuartz range, particularly UK 3.0. Have you tried any GTechniq coatings? Is the comparison with the CQuartz range as simple as saying UK 3.0 = C1/Professional = Crystal Serum Light/Finest Reserve = Crystal Serum Ultra? Cheers
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks for replying. My thought was correct then hahaha. Will probably give UK 3.0 a try, seems easier to apply than C1. Although the claimed durability is almost half of the GTech product...but perhaps it's a more realistic estimation from C.Quartz. We shall see hahaha. Stay safe!
Great vid I have been wanting to see the comparison for a while thank you. Curious have you used the kamikaze coatings? I normally use Cquartz or evo depending on the customers budget. Looking at trying them.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Oh, so it’s similar to UK3.0 then. I thought it would be at least 5 years. Are you familiar with System X? Debating over that or Carpro UK3.0/Professional.
I’m sure not I’d say that, I’d be more inclined to say that Carpro is more honest and realistic about durability claims while many other brands over hype claims. It’s actually one of the main reasons I like the brand and stay away from brands that keep pushing best case scenario durability claims, it’s very misleading and unrealistic unless it’s a weekend driver garage queen. Unfortunately I have no first hand experience with System X.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Ahh good to know. Element 119 System X seems to be sold quite a bit by detailers in my area. I’ve only found two detailers licensed to install Carpro ceramics. Guess I’ll lean towards Carpro! I already use their entire maintenance line up. Hydro2 Lite is the best!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks for the wisdom. I'm in the process of coating my car, and have been doing one section at a time because of all the prep work involved. I gotta say, there is far too little documentation from CarPro on the correct usage of the consumer product. If it wasn't for guys like you on TH-cam, I would have no clue.
I use uk as my entry level coating and for the price I find its grate product I have had happy customers from uk but I still love evo over it but evo is more expanse
I recently applied CQUK 3.0 to my car, and found that regardless of whether I wiped it off immediately or waited 2-3 minutes (temp roughly 50f) it just seemed to be a streaky mess. Under my inspection light it just seemed to keep smearing around rather than wipe down cleanly to a streak free finish. I think it took me something like an hour and a half just to coat my hood and roof of my car because wiping it down after applying it was taking so long. Is this out of the ordinary? Is it supposed to wipe down 100% cleanly or will the minor streaking take care of itself as it cures? My gut tells me it should wipe down pretty cleanly.
Car Craft Auto Detailing I guess streaky mess was probably bad wording on my part. It was more like the smearing you describe in your applications tips/tricks video for CQUK3.0. It eventually stopped smearing, it just took awhile and more wiping than I thought was reasonable. I still have to do the passenger side of my car and the rear bumper, so I’ll try shrinking my sections way down and see if that helps any. When I was trying to dial in the application/removal timing the smearing seemed to happen regardless of immediate removal or if I gave it some time. Would make sense if it was flashing too fast for me to even do a section as big as I was trying to do (1/4 of my hood at a time, for example.) I’ll report back when I knock out the rest of my car. Hopefully I didn’t botch what I’ve already done! It is my first coating application, after all.
Just a follow up; Finished the rest of my car with CQUK, and it went pretty smoothly. Worked sections smaller than I was before, and made an effort to "hustle" and wipe it off quickly after I finished applying it. I found it to be a lot easier to wipe down this time around. Swapped out my towels I was wiping down with fairly often (probably more than I needed to) just to be safe and save myself any potential headaches. I still encountered a section here and there that was more stubborn to wipe down, but I think that was likely due to needing to flip/swap out my suede applicator at the time. I think going forward, I'll probably have a lot more suede applicators on hand so I can change them often the next time I do an application. I'll admit after the first couple tries with the product I was disappointed because guys like you make it look so easy in the videos to just throw it on there and wipe it down. But I think it took me maybe an hour to knock out the rest of my trunk lid, rear bumper, entire driver side of my car, front bumper, and headlights and taillights. It was actually a fun process once I got the hang of it. If it holds up, I'll be really happy with the time invested in it.
i applyed Cquartz proffesional and finest reserv on aloot of cars and never used UV lamps only let them dry 24 houres seemd to been working ok without UV lamp

Thank you in advance.
Don’t understand...how Many times for removing cquartz pro?
There is Ceramic Coating equivalent to CARPRO that is accessible to the regular detailer.
So what's the real difference between them?
Whats your thought of the Opti-coat Pro+ ?
Ahhh damn. Fair enough.!! Great quality video your making, thank you.
Do a salt test on these 3 im curious about seein how much long finest reserve actually lasts.
Which one is the best value money to performance?
Car Craft Auto Detailing when you put it that way I guess water spot resistance
Hey Sandro, what are your thoughts on Scholl Shock 2 Cut?
Sandro your simply the best mate keep up the great work and the reviews on the various professional and retail car car products ?
Is this stuff snake oil? I mean is there really a difference between 3.0 and FR over than a nicer box and that it's exclusivity marketing?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks 🙏🏻
Did you try GYEON ?
How did you like the Mille/S2Cut/Low Lint Lambswool combo?! I have all of those and haven’t had a chance to try them together, I have heard the Mille doesn’t like cutting pads without a foam interface!
Also, how do you think the Scholl Shock 2 Cut compares to CarPro ClearCut?
Thank you for the reply! I typically use the Rupes coarse wool pad on my Mille..did you feel like the wool with no foam interface was more difficult to control? Did you feel like they cut more than the Rupes wool?
I appreciate the replies! I need to get out and test them as well to see how they do. Great videos 🙌🏻
Hi there, I was wondering if CQ Finest reserve can be applied to a motorcycle with a matte black factory finish and not introduce any additional gloss, but I'm hearing conflicting things from different detailers? Thank you
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Cheers mate, that helps a lot and definitely sounds like something I want
Great video, thank you.
What are your thoughts on typical durability/longevity ?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you. That was helpful. Good to know they are rather realistic in their estimates. Subbed.
Ok have to ask - Cquartz UK 3.0 or Concours Nova EVO?!
Good point Sandro... Thanks!
Hey Sandro,
I was just wondering if you had Carpro Echo2, Hydro2 lite, Reload, Nova Jet, Nova Lustre and Nova Evo. Which order would you use the products?
Also, Which one would you choose and for what purpose.
Thanks
Love the videos,
Keep up the great work
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Awesome, Thanks for that. I was thinking of using echo2 as a drying agent, then using Nova Evo and top it off with Reload. I also have Fusso Coat which I could use instead of a coating but that is irrelevant in this case.
(Would you prefer Reload or Lustre+Jet?)
Thanks again for your informative response and videos.
Hi there, could you please review the Meguiar’s Deep Crystal M699 Top Coat as there is very few videos of it... Thanks!
Unfortunately Meguiars doesn’t sell that product in Australia so it’s unavailable here.
Does Cquk 3.0 leave permanent water spot stain that can't come off? I don't know if I should use this or go with artdeshine metal oxide
How long does CQuartz Professional generally last?
It can be anything from 2yrs plus
Cool video ! quick question ? I get told different things every time I ask this. What is the optimal time to apply the second coat of 3.0 ? Cheers
Does Cquk 3.0 leave permanent water spot stain that can't come off? I don't know if I should use this or go with artdeshine metal oxide
Would make sense if it was flashing too fast for me to even do a section as big as I was trying to do (1/4 of my hood at a time, for example.)
I’ll report back when I knock out the rest of my car.
The water behaviour tests is like watching mercury droplets,. :)
Hi there, amazing video! Very informative! How long does it need to cure under Infra Red and at what temperature? Thanks in advance!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you very much for the prompt response! If it was a hot day, can the sun do the job? I'm asking about finest reserve.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing it helps indeed! Thanks!
where can i buy cquartz reserve
Have you tested the scratch resistance of these products short term or long term?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I really appreciate your replies, thank you.
Do they have a coating for glass?
Yes they have CarPro FlybForte which is relatively nice. I applied it to my car a little over a year ago and it is performing quite well.
its FlyByForte. - its like Finest for glass ;)
and "UK" for glass is FlyBy30
What coating would you recommend out of the three?
Finest Reserve
i applyed Cquartz proffesional and finest reserv on aloot of cars and never used UV lamps only let them dry 24 houres seemd to been working ok without UV lamp
I have been thinking of asking Cquartz Professional license. How do you find the hardness of Pro vs Finest?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thanks! How about durability?
Great comparison. What is the rule behind accepting or rejection of Detailers to be certified for carpro professional & finest?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing how do they test? Do you have to answer some questions? Or they test you practical?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I contacted them 5 months ago they were rude and all they cared is how much value I am going to order. They got recently a new distributor in our country.. I don't care about there high end products cause I got certified by better company than carpro.
Cqfr with a top coat of gliss , what’s say you’re opinion?
Car Craft Auto Detailing, Thank you for responding back.. I’m trying to figure out what the best course of action is to go with , 3.0 or reserve ceramic coating. but I do know it will be carpro . I want to try and keep it one brand so we don’t get a strange chemical reaction or one not bonding together. I’ve been going back and forth trying to figure out what to use and will work . Watching you’re channel and pan the organizer is so informative , that like I said before carpro is my favorite choice of products.. thank you for your time and the work you do!!
