As always, thanks for all you do Sandro. It was an absolute please to meet you on Thursday! You are a natural born teacher, I learnt so much and it's given me a huge confidence boost. It was also great to chat with yourself and the other students about the industry and cars in general. Thanks again, Deyon.
Great review as usual Sandro ! It would be interesting to see the application and lifespan of DLight on textured plastics like wiper panels and the like.
great video as always Sadro, I just coated mine car with D Quartz Go, will be topping it with Glass 2.0, also loving Wheel X and the new PPF/Plastic coating.
Great video review! I love the WheelX. It’s probably the best wheel cleaner I have used outside of brake buster.. I am a little disappointed with the new items that CarPro released this year. I would have thought for sure that they would have developed a new coating that is more in line with the rest of the industry for prosumer coatings, meaning one coate, ease of use, high durability, and so on. there are so many other coatings in the prosumer market that are killing it right now. Have you heard if CarPro is working on anything new in regards to coatings?
Thanks and I haven’t heard about any other new Carpro coatings in the pipeline, but sure they’re working on something. I guess what I’d add is that there’s a big discount with what many brands claim, suggest and push, compared to how the products actually perform. I still do loads of testing (most at of which aren’t video reviews) and a lot of claimed easy to use, single layer, 5yr+ coatings simply don’t deliver on these claims.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks for replying. I get what you’re saying. My personal experience in particular is with Dquartz go and C6 hydro lite. I feel like the c6 is holding up a lot better than the dquartz. Seems like I am constantly needing to put a topper on the dquartz to keep the beading hydrophobic, the coating itself is different, almost sheeting to beading after a wash and a rinse.
Sandro, You put out the best review videos man! What polish/pad combo would you recommend to start with to polish a 2017 Lexus GX460 with black paint, has swirls etc? Didn't plan on chasing the scratches either. Thanks, Jon
Greatly appreciate that mate! That would typically be a soft paint, so if I was just looking to for an enhancement combination I’d be leaning towards the red or orange Shine mate pad, (or the orange LC HDO/Rupes Yellow foam) and something like Nv Finesse, Scholl S30+ or even Carpro Essence if you want a primer polish.
I usually use Brake Buster monthly for tires and wheels, but P&S products are not the easiest thing to get in my country. Do you think replacing it with WheelX + Retyre would be a good option? Would it be too strong?
TBH CarPro lost me with the D-Quartz line up. I really don't think much of their coatings anymore. There are so many more desirable options out there now imho.
My thoughts as I have used and installed various coatings both by hand and mechanical application (paint gun and airbrush) Personally I want ability to purchase same grade coating as [certified installed] have taken a class as well Can we all just get 1 step coating and if we need a topper market it as a system? I don’t want dozens of choices nor having to weed thru / purchase - I ask here as on other channels what amount of chemical/solvent is in the coating? We want premium and same level as (certified) installer to match price 🤷🏽♂️ we understand as consumers there are on x number of producers of these coatings and they in fact sell various mixed coatings with marketed branding by seller and re seller. Great product at fair price that delivers more than is marketed
Always get excited when you release a new video Sandro. We really appreciate the work you put into these.
Oh yes Sandro, waiting for this review! My go to channel for detailing knowledge 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Appreciate that mate and hope the video was helpful!

@Alexia is watching with interest- Hope you well mate
Great review 👍🏻👍🏻. How would this compare to SiC ?
Thanks and not sure, but would be interesting to test it side by side!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing definitely would be interesting 😄
I wonder how DLight would do on paint... 🤔
really sad that wheelx is out of stock was hoping to get some
I know, it sold out within a week - crazy!

I guess there’s no shortage of coatings these days - what’s been peaking your interest?
Not working as should
