    Hellooo! I'm so glad I recently stumbled across your channel! I'm enjoying your videos, thank you for making them!
    I was wondering if you have used these on cups & tumblers? If you have, how has the color & vinyl itself held up (particularly on the white) over multiple washings? If decals seem to be successful, if you had to guess, how well do you think a full tumbler wrap would do if it was used as a way to save bad sublimation tumblers?

    • @CraftingUnedited
      @CraftingUnedited  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve used them on cups and on cars! Lol they hold up the same as the would without the sublimation.
      A full wrap as in like a whole sheet sticker? I am not too sure but I don’t see why not! Though the white is kind of transparent so some of the old might show through. But it’s worth a shot!

      Hi, you can use a hot gun and burn the image off and put a darker image over it. I do this all the time. My image was all black and the other was dark purple. I had 15 that came out wrong due to a faulty press. Just wanted to share.

    • @CraftingUnedited
      @CraftingUnedited  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does not, and if you use regular mod podge over vinyl it will loose its stick quicker. Especially Cricut vinyl (learned the hard way. It’s meant to not need a sealant you could try the acrylic sealer though, it’s used for water slides normally but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for this purpose too. It will give it a little shine.

From what I have read, temp is 345 degrees for 25 secs, let cool and test corner, if faded look on border line then press again for 15 secs. Once cooled, take Asub paper off and let the Oracle 651 cure. How long does it need to cure and does each sheet need to sit separately? Ie I can't stack the sticker sheets while curing correct? The vinyl will always shrink when it it put under heat. The other way to minimize shrinking is to press multiple times at lower temps, but that is risky as well.

You can only print on regular vinyl directly such as 651 with solvent or latex ink which you have to have a certain type of printer for that.

      I’ve noticed that as well but I am not sure as to why. Why I did notice was that if you do shorter presses and not move the print (maybe 15-20s at a time) that happens less.

    So if making a window decal using orical 651 white . Does the image get mirrored before printing? My work tonight has no words if that makes a difference. One is going to be my dogs face and the other is a motorcycle on the center of a flag. Also is there a trick to get white to show on the clear vinyl. My dogs face is 99.9% white. See profile pic. Lol

    • @CraftingUnedited
      @CraftingUnedited  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea. Mirror because when you press it’ll be inverted otherwise. No white unfortunately unless you do a grayish white. Or if you have a colorblast printer that can print white (expensive af)

I was surprised that your temp was so low when you did the initial process. I thought it had to be at least 390 in order to convert the sub ink into a gas and onto the substrate?
