Packing tape to clean up the silicone molds, thanks for the great tip!! Actually, this video has more of the best resin tips all in one video that I’ve seen so far, thank you so much for not forcing us to watch thirteen different videos to get the same amount of tips and tricks. You’re a doll.
I love the hole makers, I use them to make keychains. But I cringed so hard when you cut yours! I don’t think I would ever be brave enough to try that, but it’s a cool idea
Ha! As long as you're only snipping a bit, they're still perfectly usable, but I totally get your reluctance. If I only had one box I might cringe too! In case you hadn't heard, I also sell each size separately, so if you decide to give this a go, I can always provide replacements in your favorite size :) Go ahead, chop 'em up!!! fran@little-windows.com
I loved this tutorial, it's so informative with fantastic little tips . I would never have thought of cutting up my whole makers before, but now it's going to be a whole new game changer. Thank you Fran ❤
Ohhhh. That tip using packing tape - I needed this lol. I was trimming the flat side on tea light spheres I made, but accidentally over-trimmed. Thank you for these random tips. I now know I can fix in while doming.
So glad! Just be sure the ends of the packing tape dip down below the edges of your casting, otherwise it'll draw your resin across the edge beyond where you want it to be. Let me know how this trick works for you :) fran@little-windows.com
It turns out that I managed to sand things down. As it's on the bottom, I don't think my mom will care if there are small issues. But I did email you regarding questions about a tacky resin situation. Short of it: I ran into it still being barely tacky to the touch even after 5 days of curing this deep pour resin. And I was very, very careful in my measuring & mixing stage, as this was my 2nd cast of a 2nd pair. But the email has better info. In the future, I'm sticking to faster curing 1:1 resin lol.
This is such a cool tool! I’ve been wanting to pick up some of the hole makers for a while, now I have even more reason to pick some up! ❤ All of the pieces came out beautifully! ❤️🤗
Wow, this could be a Game Changer. I like side-by-side, and vertical holes, and certain pieces don not stand up well to drills. I love the pieces you made, and how you demonstrated the techniques, with possible results. 🫶🏻
I love your videos. I wish you would just read a book to us, your voice is so calming..i love your creativity & i recommend your stuff to anyone who listens. Have a great week..

The little Holemakers are the same as contact lense removers don’t know how expensive they are but anything repackaged for craft is generally more expensive
Hello Alex, thanks for commenting! I got the idea from those, but created my own tooling to make these work much better for resin casting. The shape is different, I offer 4 sizes, and the type of silicone works much better as it's stretchy and resilient. Stay tuned for more great ideas :) fran@little-windows.com
