friggin love how the pilot just leaps into the fray and goes on a killing spree. badass mobile suit with a badass entrance
the pilot was listening to the free bird guitar solo, he didn't even need newtype abilities or a fancy system, all he needed was some shades and a Bluetooth speaker in his cockpit
The pilot is Robin Diez, a ace pilot of the Titans from the Gryps War. He was a badass pilot and he fought with Marasai and the original Byarlant.
After the Gryps War he was forgiven by EFF and assigned to Torrington base were they modified his Byarlant into Byarlant Custom.
The Torrington base commander was unaware of his past so he worked as mechanic and when Zeon attacked Torrington he jumped into the Byarlant and showed how badass he was.

I never expected the comeback of gryps war machines being modified during the battle of torrington base
And the pilot is Robin Diez a former Titans ace pilot that fought on Marasai and Byarlant.
Ah yes, the Mobile Suit that made a name for itself during the Torrington fight that took up the second half of Episode 4.
This right here will always be my favorite scene in Unicorn. Super badass.

One of the best "F*ck you zeon" scenes ever
From a fearsome Grips War villain to the valiant Hero of Torrington who has come to save the day from the evil forces of Zeon. I wanted him to walk through the roof, shouting "Long Live To Earth Federation", in response to the demented "Zieg Zeon" that the zeeks have made a sick mantra shouted whenever they're terrorizing Federation cities and colonies.
It's ALWAYS nice to see this beast on screen.
Bro this video is longer than all of the Byarlant Custom's actual screen time
It still scored enough kills to singlehandedly overturn the entire assault on torrington base.

this Mobile suit origin and history is kinda similar to the US marine salvaged, improvised weapon (Stinger light machine gun) used in Iwo Jima.. files like a butterfly stings like a bee

I have no idea how the RX model series works. You had the RX-78, then the RX-178, then it went to RX-0, then RX-160s, and then after that RX-104 and RX-105.
I think RX Series was meant for Ace or high performance custom MS. Because this byarlant was a very customized ver of the Original Byarlant

what's the difference between the original Byarlant with the custom one? both looks same and carrying the same weaponry
Nah, the custom has arms retrofitted from the Gabthley, and the mega particle cannons have been downgraded. It also has improved sensors, and extra fuel tanks on the back for sustained flight.
and how about the Byarlant Isolde? both it and the Custom one looks same
@@gearthehuman2115 Isolde has a head with refitted dual eye sensors, and the arms from the original byarlant. The back boosters are from the custon.

It was some random pilot, didn't show the story or name of the pilot. He wasn't wearing special pilot suit too...

Ironic that if Kirk's Zaku 1 sniper didn't "interfere", the Zeon Remnant Marsai (a Titan mainstay MS) had the best chance to legit defeat the Byarlant Custom.
