How did you massage ?? Just circular massages or pressing the point where the finger sists

thank you for this suggestion. I've been on a catheter for about 2 weeks because of this. I had it removed one day to see if i could urinate normally but no dice. by the end of the day I had to have a catheter installed again. next time I have it removed I will try this for sure. If you have any other tips please share. I am desperate! thank you

My mom is 69 years old had transvaginal mesh removal and prolapse sacrospinous fixation, the mesh she had was causing her some small issues, mesh is supposed to be permanent the urologist removed all mesh now she has urinary retention of 200 ml, if she has less than 200ml in her bladder she cannot pee if it's more than 200ml she will urinate, but she is using 6 cateters a day because her retention is 200ml.
Will this work for her? We don't know if she had nerve or muscle damage.
Doctor what can we do to help her? Here is Canada health is public so to do more test after her surgery we have to wait 3 more months.
My mom is talking cephalexin 500mg every day because she has had too many UTIs because of using the cateters, the antibiotics are debilitating her health.

Yeah bro when it escalated to not being able to pee at home, it’s put me into suicidal depression that that has made it urgent that I need to get over my embarrassment and open up about this to a therapist. Also I need to see a urologist Bc I’m scared shitless of the potential long term damage I can be causing that fear on top of having no social life due to shy bladder makes me hate myself for isolating. My friends and family probably think I hate them. Suicide is not the only way out even in the face of something seemingly insurmountable like shy bladder and the potential damage to bladder muscles it can cause.
