      @@alex98764 Well, really I couldn’t have asked for a better SUV.🥹❤️It’s so robust, it’s a safe car to drive, the fuel consumption it’s reallllly awesome, it has power more than enough to do anything, the features are all great. Really a car that will last so many years. Nothing broke since I got it, brand new ofc. ❤️🫶At around 55-60k km, currently.☺️
      Me lov my Tiguan ❤️🫶🙏

    We have had a 2.0ltr Tdi 150hp SEL model for 4 months now and 6000 miles. Feel like we have premium car which drives lovely, for much less than Discovery sport we were also looking at ( around 8K less with similar spec.) . Adaptive LED headlights, panoramic roof, apple connect are superb, interior is well equipped, spacious and comfortable with massage function on drivers seat - very nice!:-) Plenty of room for large teenage boys and dogs. Love the looks in White with chrome highlights. Get between 43-45 Mpg. I would recommend for anyone looking at this type of car to give one a test drive. A very good family car so far.

    Great video, great job. This report helped me choose 2.5 years ago when I took the Tiguan so I wanted to share my impressions with you, maybe it will help someone. 2017 2.0 TDI 190hp, automatic and 4x4. Before that I drove a Honda Civic and I thought I would never switch to automatic transmissions but after the DSG experience I will definitely never go back to manual ones, life with the automatic is much easier, especially in the city crowds.
    I took a used one, imported from Italy, covered 20,000 km. He was in a chain collision and they probably declared a total since he is under warranty. I knew, of course, that it was hit, but I wanted to see what it looks like when you buy a hit car, because the price was 7000e lower than the regular one. We all used to hit the car and then fix it and continue driving without any problems, I was guided by that logic. I am against buying new cars because I have been buying cars that are 2-4 years old all my life, I have been driving them for 3-5 years and I only have regular service, I have never had a breakdown on any of them.
    It was the same with this Tiguan in 2.5 years. Except for the fact that the trap was dislocated (which I adjusted) and that the front right fork was from an Audi A3, (Šabac repairs, classic) I had no other problems, with the car I say again was in a chain collision.
    The car is PERFECT, spacious, comfortable, thrust is almost the same as the Honda Civic 1.8, which is fascinating to me. You don't feel like in some SUV models that you will roll over in a sharp turn, the passengers don't fly from end to end in the car, the tires probably help because I put a little wider than the standard dimensions. Traveling in this car is a real pleasure, there is even a folding table for children in the back of the front seats. The trunk is huge, four people with luggage have no problems. When you knock down the seats, I think you can translate everything except closets, beds and sofas, and maybe even that if you need to :)
    The DSG gearbox with shifting from Drive to Sport mode is a very good option, especially for overtaking. Drive slowly and if necessary, switch the car to Sport mode in a second, the revs go up to 4-5k then.
    Consumption with my riding style, which is 70% in sport mode, is about 7.5-8.5l on summer and 8-9l on winter tires. I guess the consumption can be around 6l if you have the nerve to drive in eco mode :)
    All in all - Best buy in its class definitely. I can even say that I like the Tiguan much more than the XC60 e.g. because the Tiguan is also great for city driving, the volvo is literally a fortress on wheels for long travel.
    P.S. If you like more thrust and direct driving, do not buy the 150hp version. Believe me, you will thank me later.

    • @nenad7653
      @nenad7653 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tadz I think that it would be wise to think about a electric cars at this point, or hybrids. My sister bought Toyota rav4 2020, hybrid and it would be my choice at the current time.
      Its a great car and its a low consumer since she tells me that consumption is around 5-6l at city driving, I think that it has electric throttle up to 40-50km/h witch is great for city driving. On the other hand my Tiguan is consuming up to 10l in combined driving and its really getting on my nerves lately since I can buy 10-15l less oil with the same amount of money that I needed to fill up the full tank a year ago. I am defiantly buying a hybrid next time.

      Interesting read - I am considering a Tiguan tdi and I also have a Honda civic and my civic has been faultless - not one single problem so bit nervous about going back to vw but I love the Tiguan I want something higher up but also good power - don’t they do a 200bhp + ?

    One major problem (design fault) with the latest Tiguan are the instruments .. the cowels around the stock vw golf/Passat instruments that the Tiguan has mean that unless it's a bright sunny day outside they r impossible to see. It's the reason that most testers are provided by vw with the LCD instruments even on lower Tiguan models ... the dull red poorly illuminated indicator needles don't help in the dark as well ... it's quite difficult to take a standard set of instruments and screw them up but vw gets 10/10 for doing it !

In the back boot is big enough but they should of added the rear seats to be pushed back option.. The dials is digital not something I like. Plus just to hey few basic things in the car you would have to pay much more

      AUDI interior quality is still a step above VW though, that's why they exist I suppose and VWs won't be encroach on their premium brand. That said the interior on these is nice (although let down by rearward plastics that are hard at all levels), but it does not a rival the AUDI. The Q3, whilst ageing now just has a beautifully finished interior. This new Tiguan is leagues ahead of the old one in style though, much chunkier and resembles a bigger X5/Tourage SUV than the wierd tall old one.

    I just got the new Tiguan 1.4 TSI DSG comfortline over a month ago. the ErgoActive seat it a nightmare 14 way to get so un comfort that make one wonder how can they miss the design so bad. you seat on a very thin padding that don't block the hard metal frame of the seal bottom. After 5 minutes of drive you start to feel pain in the legs due to the stiffness of the seat. you cannot drive more then 30-45 minutes without getting out of the car for a refreshing rest. Overpriced, boring to look at and drive and will also be unreliable. A Mazda CX-5 would be a far better proposition in EVERY way! Not biased, just speaking from personal experience!

    • @safc1986safc
      @safc1986safc 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Eamonn McDermott how can you be speaking from personal experience if you've never had one 😂 had the se nav 6 months, absolutely love it, loads of room, great sat nav, quick for a big car and looks the dogs bollox.

    • @eamonnmcdermott1939
      @eamonnmcdermott1939 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have actually had one which is why I said I was speaking from personal experience. Was on holidays for a month last year, (the car was only 6 months old at this stage!) when I returned it wouldn't start. Dealer fixed issue no problem. Would never buy any VW ever again. Just look at the reliability surveys, Japanese manufacturers nearly are the whole top 10! Mazda all the way! Now own a far superior Mazda CX-5!

      @safc1986safc 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eamonn McDermott Japanese cars are the most reliable no doubt. It's all down to personal preference and German cars are better looking (I love the mx5 however) also generally German cars are regarded as efficient. Peuegeot and Renault on the other hand.......😂 pretty sure CX-5 are the same price bracket as a BMW X3 also n I know which i'd rather drive.....

    • @eamonnmcdermott1939
      @eamonnmcdermott1939 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mazda all the way! Never buy a German car again. Mazda CX-5 starts at £23,395, BMW X3 starts at £34,400. Why would I pay an extra £11,000 for a badge? The BMW may have better perceived quality but will definitely not be as reliable. Mazda will have far more specification also. Mazda better to drive, better engines and roomier. Mazda without doubt has the best looking range of cars bar no other manufacturer! Fact! Annoyed I just didn't buy the Mazda CX-5 instead of the Tiguan in the first place. Great to have premium badge but not so great when you start having issues with it! I know which one I'd rather drive!

      Eamonn McDermott X1 pardon my mistake. Which few would disagree along with the Tiguan are finer cars. Don't get me wrong the cx-5 is a fine car also but if style is your preference then BMW and VW are superior. Also see www.whatcar.com/news/bmw-x1-vs-mazda-cx-5-vs-volkswagen-tiguan/ for ride note 'the Tiguan steering is MUCH better than the CX-5's seemingly the experts disagree with your opinion 😉

      You are very ignorant indeed ... the Tiguan is build at the Wolfsburg Volkswagen Plant in Germany !
      I guess you even can't google for that information yourself ... it's impressive how some people just make a fool of themselves on the internet, JUST GOOGLE IT BEFORE SAYING STUPID THINGS
