Tom is a wonderful human to be around. All our AG gear it flawless fit function and finish. Without a doubt our first choice in all our gear needs for what AG makes. Thank you for bringing Tom onto the podcast.
Interview Brandon Green from the Army Marksmanship Unit! That would be an amazing interview. He is full of knowledge, an amazing shooter, and a heck of a nice guy.
Great air rifle choice Eric. Many more options to explore. An excellent and very affordable way to sustain existing shooting skills with powder burners, as well as learn and develop new skills. Generally, barrel or other critical component replacements for PCP rifles are not an issue to consider. Rebuilds for springer / gas piston guns may become necessary, but even so, infrequent over decades of shooting. Highly competitive, international and affordable shooting sport.
@BelieveTheTarget This was good for me to get some more information on the PRS circuit. I have a lot of work to do, but I did find a local group that does Sunday matches!! That is great for me, I actually hate to take days off work, so missing Saturdays pains me 🤣 I'm weird, down side of being raised on a farm I guess, my work ethic is too ingrained into my soul. But I will get to start a few matches soon and learn what I need to work on more!! Have a great week, Erik!
.....lol.....I was shooting a mile with my first Sako .338LM TRGS in 1996 Tom, & so were alot of people with a bunch of different calibers/wildcats - 1000 Yds. was nothing back then, & by 2002, with a rebarrel & a TRG42 - the mile got easy,....but.....the internet wasn't around for all the wannabees, so it was alot tougher to get involved unless you REALLY lived for it, that said, the internet is responsible for just exploding the sport, lending to the education & techno available today, world-wide, it is fantastic where all the shooting sports have gone & continues to grow exponentially !!.......Live for it !!!!!
"The Service Rifle stuff just became an antiquated sport" :-/ Nonetheless, 800+ competitors came from all over the country to compete in this years National Trophy matches at Camp Perry.
Chad is an amazing guy! I have known him for a while. If you are looking for a custom rifle you can hand down a generation or two he will do you right.

+1 on this!
When Tom said he had two people to nominate, I was really hoping it would be Militia Creedmoor and Tomothy Gunsworth from WPEW News.
