I have nothing but respect for Gary and Mike but this is the most odd interview I've ever seen.
2 guys standing awkwardly while the interviewer sits..Not sure whose idea this was but it's terrible.

I buy dead air because I want the best quality product I can get my mitts on. Seeing this video makes me want to keep supporting them just because they seem super down to earth.

Great stuff from DA guys...but the interviewer needs to tame the “like” in every question he asked. It seems he tried to make this very conversational but he did not seem prepared in asking the questions.

Dead Airs method of building the best they can, then after it's done determining pricing based off what it costs them is why I buy Dead Air. I hate when I look at a product and I can see where they cut corners to stay in budget.

Great interview. Dead Air definitely leads the way in in high cost provider cans. I have form 1 cans that are made on quality conical Ti/ stainless baffles, but they will never be a dead air can. however close they may come, dead air squeezes out the extra performance that they fail to provide.

I can confirm. I shoot about 10x as much rimfire as centerfire. I have 10+ cans. Equal mix of form 1 and form 4 cans.

While all agree with them saying that it's not just a piece of metal inside that is in a can. You have to pay for the research and development of that piece of metal. But once that cost is made up in selling the device most manufacturers do not lower the cost of their device. So yes it is a piece of metal inside of a can

I'm that guy you love to hate you are correct. We have never added a cost for R&D to our cost of goods. It’s a lot easier than a product price change later on.

Mike Pappas that's good to know. But truth be told I'm really jealous that I can own one. Because of the fact that live in New Jersey. Or the way I call it New Germany

not so much the engineering and materials that goes into these things is pretty insane. most car or motorcycle mufflers are pretty simplistic by comparison
