- The Starbucks reserve roastery just opened in Chicago, and we spent 4 hours and over $200 trying as many menu items as possible. This Starbucks in the largest one in the world, with 4 floors and an outdoor roof deck. Don't expect to order your favorite Starbucks drink here, like a pumpkin spice latte or peppermint mocha, they have a special menu, and the prices are pretty steep! For a cup of reserve coffee it costs $15, but it's made in this incredible syphon and the taste is phenomenal. Also fantastic is the food, the entire 3rd floor is a restaurant with homemade food made on the premise. Everything we had was incredible, especially the cannoli. Yes!! Please do some "how to eat healthy" at fast casual restaurants or chain restaurants (like Olive Garden or Carrabbas or Texas Road house type places)
I do love that for a special outing, you guys just enjoyed the food.... I think that's a healthy mindset when you eat super clean 99% of the time.

My boyfriend is a barista at a specialty coffee roaster in Pasadena, CA. I’m sorry but Starbucks is pretty much the McDonalds of coffee houses. If you want a good, clean cup of coffee a specialty coffee roaster is your best bet. As a side note his boss’ family has owned a finca in Guatemala since the 1800s and in fact they do sell some if their beans to Starbucks as well as Green Mountain.

I do not drink coffee. However, as a vegan the ONLY non dairy milk I drink is Elmhurst OATMILK ONLY. I get it refrigerated at Publix only. And I've seen it shelved at Sprouts. This milk is CLEAN. NO GARBAGE IN IT AT ALL!!!!!!! I LOVE Elmhurts Oatmilk. Try it folks. Oh yeah you can order it online. That is so sweet, you are feeding Dessi. Bobby, you gave Starbucks tons of free advertising. Sure they appreciate it.

@@skepticalmechanic oatmilk is non dairy milk. I'm not referring to the Barista one. That is not used for straight drinking. I drink the Oatmilk only. And yes it is oatmeal made into non dairy milk. Which equals milk 😁
@@MsJanetLouise and the taste is clean. With almond milk you never get the same flavor when you buy different brands. Same for coconut milk. I've learned why that is. Try Elmhurst if you want oatmilk. They actually have one without cane sugar but it has to be ordered.

Great video, Bobby! Probably one of my favorites. How cool would it be to go to one of the cool new food halls or markets in Chicago to view and taste test the food. (Definitely the ones without restaurant chains.) Would be a great way to show us viewers how to find healthy, delicious food while eating out. Great to see Desi and Rose, too!

Is Starbucks fair trade, do they kick cops out of their store and what's in their food.
Sonja Laine well I don’t know about the cops. But I read that 90% of their coffee is fair trade supposedly. But they do use GMOs and coffee and food is not organic. I learned from Bobby that Coffee is one of the worlds highest pesticide items . So I’m confused.

Bobby, I was looking for Stevia drops like you use, couldn't find it at Walmart and Publix. While I was searching for this at Publix, I looked at Monk Fruit too. Publix had that, but next to that was a company called WHOLE EARTH SWEETNER CO. I read the front of the container and it was a blend of Stevia and Monk Fruit! I then looked at the back like you taught me to do to look for the ingredients and it said Eryithritol, Stevia Leaf Extract, and Monk Fruit Extract! I was so excited. It is Pure Stevia and NON- GMO. The website is: wholeearthsweetner.com , for anyone interested. I will be using this now, the taste is great. Wanted to spread the good news!

North Riverside, CA here... I stopped going to Starbucks because of those ANNOYING air blowers to keep flies out! Now they keep ME out!! Do they have those blowers there in Illinois??
Interesting...the world's largest Starbucks used to be in Seoul, South Korea until it closed. Starbucks is not the best coffee anyway/ I prefer indie coffee shops. Starbucks Christmas blend is a rip-off. It doesn't taste Christmas-y at all.

One of the worst coffee I ever drank. Lukewarm and so called barista wouldn't agree that it was lukewarm. Worst customer service. And they say their coffee is fresh roasted..no its not. Overpriced stale coffee
I went there and the pistachio latte was bomb but the affogado had burned espresso shots. The pistachio bicerine also had burned shots and the chocolate was too much. So stay away from anything that accents shots because you'll be disappointed. The mozzarella sandwhich was amazing though!
